Too funny. I was thinking the same thing with you, Michelle, MegaBoyd, DTS aka nitsua, ... It's '00 again and Webmaster Luini has just made yet another satriani.com website change/revamp, lol! Just looked through my Satch tix stubs and found my 12/28/00 San Francisco Fillmore signed stub. Good times to end the year 2000!
I even joked again with Joe last night about how my wife & I used AWM,AWY in our wedding in July '89 and how we must be only one of thousands of couples to use that tune.
I do hope you are well elpp! :-)

Well Berzerkeley Chickenfoot sounds fantastic thanks for all the updates everyone, glad you had a great time and how nice are YOU Al Surfer to get roo in to see Joe? You have my respect.
roo - you know what I'm going to ask don't you?
Pip - noted, didn't know I had stumbled upon your bedroom name, ahem........
A bit T & E today, massive Grand Final day at our house yesterday, just finished cleaning up, the Panadol Rapid is just kicking in. And I am told by Mr. Skippy we are off to the guitar shop to get a guitar for my birthday in a couple of weeks woo hooo :>), any recommendations for a beginner's electric (I have to give back the borrowed Fender Tele Cali Series in January)?

Kayla: I was mad when I read your post about how things are going for you and family. The "Justice" you need may come from the Karma of the other guy who did all of that to your Bf's dad. You may never know about it but comeuppence comes slow and hard to them. Just concentrate on the positive things that can be done for you all now. Prayers for all involved. Best of wishes for rehab and healing for your Bf's dad. Time to count your blessings now to keep yourself sane. Be safe out there!

Skippygirl - Nope...that's not me. I was the next section back from where this video was shot, over on Mikey's side. I was about 21 rows and a walkway back from the stage, but it's not as bad as it may seem...the view and sound quality were both great.
Less than 24 hours until the end of the Chickenfoot tour...

It really was my pleasure. I would have tried to get ANY T2J'er back there, but especially one that had traveled so far! As soon as I heard roo's cool accent I pointed at him and asked "roo?!" and he just smiled, lol. Priceless! :-)
Whenever I'm lucky enough to chat with Joe I'm always sure to thank him for T2J as a place for Satchaholics to chat about all things Joe (& other stuff). I also thanked Jon Luini again.
I actually asked Joe about the CF-logo'd robe and he said that someone from Best Buy (I believe) had them made and gave them out to the band & crew. Nobody knew what to do with them or where/when to wear them because nobody wants to fill up their luggage with such a cumbersome item just to wear in their hotel rooms so they just sort of travel with the stage gear. Joe wore one a few nights earlier for the encore to crack everyone up and decided to do so again for Berkeley. We joked about how it all goes back to the recording at Lucas' "Skwalker Ranch" with the Alec Guiness Jedi look.
And now back to enjoying the ride of life, family, & friends (with Joe's music as the background soundtrack of course!) ...

Al surfer: guess you're a "63" also! gotta tell ya, me and the mrs think that was an awesome thing getting Roo to meet Joe. not too many people that would do that. i'm over the top as far as passion for Chickenfoot. the cd is still spinning in my vehicle non-stop. in the house we break it up with the live Chickenfoot recordings in Boston and NYC. in between those we watch the DVD's we made of all 5 shows we went to at least twice a week! it's like a ritual now on Saturday nights. watch the DVD's drinking tequila and when the discs are done the fun keeps goin lol.
Skippy: congrats on your posts! it's funny my wife has about 27000 posts on RedRocker.com, she used to be obsessed lmao. Chickenfoot changed all that though! now Sammy takes a back seat to CF.

Aaand I'm off to pick up roo and cosmic_ape for an afternoon of Amoeba, the Rock Walk in front of Guitar Center, and (of course) In-N-Out. Oh yeah, and I think some band called Chickenfoot is in town.
If anyone reading this wants to meet up with us at the venue, drop me an email...I'll check it from my phone before the show starts.

Jon, you must be right about wolf2. Lol!
Skippygirl, that's taken about 3 rows in front of me. Austin was further back on the right. Yes, I promise to say hi from you tonight skippy.
Al, Since everyone is in the mood I'll also thank you again for mentioning me to joe, I'm glad I had patience to keep hangin in there and the security was happy to let me wait.
Just sitting in the hotel waiting for Austin to pick me up. Lookin forward to in-n-out, but in the rush to pack my pants I forgot to bring some beetroot.
