Let's try to put this in a different context:
Imagine for a minute that you do have 750 bucks to burn on a hobby. Is there any artist dead or alive for which you would pay 750 bucks for a meet-and-greet? And which kind of M&G would you prefer?
Can't think of anyone alive, so my choice would be a one hour Q & A session with Dimebag Darrell, in which you're allowed to bring in a guitar and jam a bit while downing some beers. Get some pointers on how to play his riffs, equipmnt choices, and walk out of there totally drunk. Now THAT would've been worth it!

Just back from the Joe Bonamassa show! What a killer guitarist! If you haven't heard any of his work, do your ears a favor and pick up some of his work. You have my word, you won't be disappointed!

Can't sleep..rice harvest almost over...finally.
Tons of pages to catch up on.
Skippy- Davey is a cutie and i mean that in the most heterosexual sense possible. :-) ..and we are all jealous about the kiss on the cheek. Glad you enjoyed the show. He's great live, isn't he?
Did I miss anything?
Anyway..A quick glass of milk and off to bed.

For $750 a M&G would have to be a whole night of unprotected wild sex with Angelina Jolie (incl at least 7 positions and a blowjob)

It would most certainly be a toss-up between Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck; Jimmy Page and David Gilmour. And we may as well narrow it down to the ones who are'nt dead yet..
$750.00 is insane. That's one and a half mortgage payments for us.
Listening to "Redshift Riders"... I just can't get enough of "Super Colossal"...f#ckin' love it !

If I found a pot o gold at the end of the rainbow and it contained $$$$.$$ dollars and it was to be spent on entertainment only-then yes I would buy that package deal ($750.00) in a heartbeat.

G'mornin' T2Jers!
JOE--Thanks for the recent news about a show in December, but the cost is too much for my husband and me in today's economy!
As for the news about the LIVE IN PARIS DVD, you are right that flashes of light may cause seizures in some people with epilepsy. Thankfully, my Steve doesn't have any specific triggers. Flashing, fast lights don't cause him to have seizures. The doctors say stress could be what brings on his seizures, but even then they are just guessing. I pray every day for a cure and can only turn this matter over to a higher power to put my mind at peace.
Steve and I are enjoying PSATMOR, Super Colosal, Strange Beautiful...., and Crytal Planet mostly. I dream about you and Steve Vai getting together and making an album beyond what anyone could wish or think about! You guys are so special individually and together.....what a great friendship/brotherhood! We are all blessed by your musical journey/journeys. Even songs that take years to write and record have your unique "signature" on them...beauty beyond words. And Steve Vai! His musical career has shown a great talent for teaching--the Master Classes!
I am in awe of the world of music!

Hi everyone...
I'm going to see U2 after all...! I found a ticket on Ticketmaster at 3 a.m. this morning, for their sold-out show at the Rose Bowl. I can't believe I lucked out like that, but it must have just been released. I was checking the site every few hours for the past week or so, trying to find a ticket but always coming up empty.
I spent about twice as much as I've ever spent on a ticket before this...it comes to a little more than a third of the cost of the Chickenfoot Las Vegas meet and greet that no one is happy about. And this is face value plus fees from Ticketmaster...it's not through a scalper! Argh... :-/
Anyway, I'll be there along with 95,000+ other U2 fans...it'll be the largest event ever at the Rose Bowl. Look for me on YouTube (ha!) and on the eventual DVD that will be released...yeah, the live DVD is the main reason I bought a ticket. I'm weird, I know...
I should not have spent this much money, but I'm in big need of an escape from life for a while...hopefully this will do it.
...Austin...

Hey Joe,
I've just got in your music and it's pretty great. I don't know the names of many of your songs but what I've heard is some good stuff.
I was just wondering though, are you a Christian?
If so could you tell me your testimony (The story of how you became a Christian) and if you're not could you tell me why?
I'm sorry if thats a weird question to answer, but I've just been thinking about it lately.
I am a Christian and came to know Jesus when I was 15. My father was a pastor and I grew up around church. But I never really saw what the big deal was about this Jesus guy. Then a several years past and some of the people attending my dad's church decided they didn't like the way he was running it and wanted to run it instead. So they quit coming and tithing so we couldn't pay the bills for the church and we had to close it. Then all the people who left bought the building back for themselves the next day and would not let us get any of our belongings out of it and stole all of it except a vacuum cleaner that my mom had to beg to get back. It ruined my parent's marriage and my dad's faith in Christ. It sent me into a slow downward spiraling pit of depression over the next four years. It hurt me so bad to see other people who proclaimed Jesus as their Lord and Savior do something like that to another person. Then from there I concluded that God wasn't real and became an atheist. Life carried on and I resumed "living". My Grandma was diagnosed shortly after that with ovarian cancer again (She had been dealing with it off and on for about 14 years prior). This time though it was spreading. I couldn't even stand to look at her because I couldn't figure out how life would go on without her... So I figured out a way to avoided her even though we lived in the same house. I didn't speak to her for about a year. The whole time I'm just getting more and more depressed about life. I was able to cope for a while by playing guitar all day but the depression was slowly catching up on me. About a month went on and I had finally had enough, I got so frustrated with life that I started to plan ways to kill myself. One night I was laying in my bed and I did something I hadn't done in a long time... I prayed to Jesus. I said, "God, I do know if your real but if you are end my Grandma's suffering, do whatever you have to, just end it".... The next day at 9:29, my Grandma died. I was furious with God, cursing Him left and right and right there in the hospital I finally decided on how I was going to kill myself, I was going to get my rifle, walk back into the woods behind my house and end it once in for all. Then I felt this love overflow me and I was in tears, and I heard God say in my heart, "I love you and you have more to do in this life". So right there in the hospital room I surrendered what little I had and gave my life to Christ.
He changed me, I'm so much more happier now and I don't feel empty anymore. He has blessed my life so much since then, I have an amazing step-dad, I have friends, I have better grades in school and I have a better guitar (Fender classic players sonic blue mexican stratocaster, I'm wanting to upgrade to an Ibanez prestige, I just don't have the money yet). The best thing about all those blessings is, I didn't even ask for them! God just loves me enough to bless me with all of that! Although I'd have to say the biggest blessing is having a personal relationship with Jesus and to know I am unconditionally loved by God and I can't do anything to mess that up (Romans 8:39).
Thank you for taking the time to read all of that, I hope to hear a reply from you soon. I'm praying that God will bless you even more than He already has. =]
because He loves,
Forrest Johnson
