Ciao Joe I'm one of your fans Antonio.I have been playing acoustic guitar for years first with classical then steel string as well but not great on electric. Had I a teacher lie you it would have been a different story. I've been tryingto learn electric but with videos I dont think I could ever get all the theory even having played classical to know modes inside out etc. Steve Vai was very, very very lucky to have you as a teacher. If you have any suggestions as to which videos etc would help that would be great.
And now a nasty to the critics some crap about that you play too sterile shees I guess thats what perfection sounds like to people used to guitarist that have to compensate for lack of ability by using "coloration".
They must have forgotten the 8 million "sterile" copies you sold worlwide man.
Forza Joe sei forte you are the best dude. Therss no one ahead of you or ever will be and to top it off you are the most modest guitarist I hav ever seen.

Vasco - As the Cubazoid said a toker is one who smokes weed. You didn't do anything wrong, I was just having a bit of fun, you congratulated someone on their weeding and I just couldn't help myself.

You guys are all way off base, he was discussing gardening, not smoking or toking....
I remember in geology class the prof asking if anyone knew what a "sheeting joint" was and a small voice coming from the back of the class saying " An outhouse in Mexico???"

Hey Everyone,
Joe: Sorry to hear about the passing of Norton Buffalo. Prayers to his family and to all of you.
Here are the results from my races:
Run for Riley 5 Miler - 7th out of 258; 1st in Age Divison; Time was 30 minutes and 56 seconds.
River City Rat Race (10K) - 11th out of 644; 2nd in Age Division; Time was 38 minutes and 17 seconds.
I have already signed up for three more races this month and one of them is (my first) marathon on the 14th.
Time to get caught with all of you:
Skippygirl: NLP is working well for me. I'll try to use it for my marathon coming up in less than two weeks. AYE!!!
js1200js1000: Long time since I heard from ya. Get well my Canadian friend. CANADA EHH!
McDave: Great to hear from ya. Maybe I should come over there and try to run in those frigid cold temperatures.
Michelle & Chesse101: How are you both doing?
TheHawkGuy, bluebuffalo, & Peace Lily: I agree, that will be awesome. Chickenfoot at the Super Bowl. YAY!
A little disappointed that my Chickenfoot CD/DVD got backordered. In other news, remember the boss (at my hotel job) that told me I would probably move up? Well, he was let go, and one of the supervisors put in her two weeks notice. Quite surprising to me, but all I can say is best of luck to them.
I also have been Christmas Shopping and I'm halfway done (on my list) already.
Well, I better stop now. I'm going to crash and burn tonight. No running tonight because I ran 18-20 miles last night. Just to remind you all again, I will finally run my first marathon on November 14th. Chat with you all later.

Glitzy - that's fantastic well done my friend! Good luck for the big marathon run. I see Steve Vai ran 26 miles the other day too.
T - good news re your Dad, maybe when they argue it will be proof things are back to normal haha.
Bit stiff and sore still from crashing my bike on Sunday, have lovely bruises all over and going away to Port Douglas next week hope they disappear.
For Chickenfoot in Australia say "aye"!

Lots of interesting posts in the last 24 hrs.
When big brother decides its time for the chips, I am going to say t hell with it and do some weeding of my own.
Seriously though..paperwork and regulation is getting thicker all the time. Its pushing the small business owner to the edge as if the present economy wasn't enough to do most in.
Skippygirl- nice to hear that Australia is fairing well in these times. No recession in Australia.....that is encouraging.
Be careful on those rides.... though.
Cheese -So glad to hear your dad is well enough to go home home to your mom. It will do his spirits good to sleep in his own bed and have good meals.
Glitzman- Good luck with your marathons and just to clarify on the Chickenfoot superbowl thing . It would be cool but I don't think that is being planned at this time. I don't want to start any rumors. LOL

Cheese101: Tracie, that is wonderful news. OH YEAH! I'm glad your Dad will be coming home. I wish your whole family the best tomorrow on your Dad's trip back home. A very important homecoming indeed.
Skippygirl: Thank you for the praise. Of all my runs, I think this marathon will be the one that I would feel nervous the most. This marathon is actually USATF (Track & Field) Certified. That means this run can also help runners be able to qualify for races such as the Boston, & New York Marathons. In order for me to do Boston, I'll have to get a time of 3 hours and 10 minutes or less to qualify. New York will be tougher because I have to run under 3 hours, which is a huge challenge. Quaifying for Boston would be awesome, but right now, I just want to experience this run and have fun. Steve Vai ran a marathon (26.2 miles)? When was that? Just curious.
Peace Lily: I'm well aware what you are saying; but it would be cool if Chickenfoot performed at the Super Bowl, maybe even the Olympics or at any event.
