Glitzy - phew you sure work hard, good on you. I knew how you treated your customers before you even posted I could just tell. I would hazard a guess that if a kind soul such as yourself offered for them to sit down in the store and try playing a guitar, and show them a nice easy chord like A, you would find extra sales - it's when you strum one that you get the thrill isn't it?
And then you want to do it.
For Chickenfoot in Australia say "aye"!

axe, that's cool that the band has you in the favorites! it's not quite the CF fanatics as it is the Sammy fans. thats where the "vote for me" posts started and well i won't accuse anyone cause i don't have access to who's voting for what but i have an idea. like i said before i'm sure the band will pick what they think is thier favorite. hell even if we win the mrs. already said i could play the guitar once, then i have to put it in a case for display only! either way it's cool with me whoever wins cause like you said, we went to 5 shows and we met the whole band twice in the course of 5 days and had so many special little things happen to us that we will never forget this tour!! plus we have two whole dvds full of memories!!!
michelle; i know the feeling, i've had no time for anything of late. working in retail again with the sucky schedule that goes with it. going in today from 1:30 to 10:30. but at least i finally got a job, until January anyway.
cool post mystical; seen that one when they first came out with it.

Prof. dr. Wubbo J. Ockels is a Dutch physicist, and also the Netherlands' original astronaut. He is a Professor of Aerospace Sustainable Engineering and Technology at the University of Delft, and tries to stimulate a mentality change among Dutch citizens.
In his mind-bending TEDxAmsterdam talk, Ockels explains how ‘time’ is created by human beings, as a way our brains can make sense of gravity. The speed of light is constant, because it is made by us: it’s the clock by which we have calibrated our existence. Based on this premise, Ockels proposes a new way to explore life in our galaxy.

Hello Joe, all right? I am a big fan your from Brasil, Rio de Janeiro.
I kindly ask a minute of your time to answer me some questions of curiosity:
Which you use most, the distortion of your amp, the distortion pedals or a mixture of both?
Why you prefer to use pedals instead multi-effects pedals or rack?
Within the distortion pedal you've ever tested, you could show me a pedal that really preserve the timbre of the guitar when you turn it on?
Thank you very much.
Marco

Don, I am become...retail hell.
I honestly don't understand what's wrong with some people. They can knock 20 items off a rack, see that they did it, then continue to push their cart over them and then step over them, let their kid trash everything they can get their little hands on, then just act like the kid didn't do anything and walk away, pull stuff off the hanger, then throw it over the top of the rack and grab the same damn thing...but one ON a hanger??. They look at you like it's your job to right everything they do wrong, so do it. They don't care. I got to the point today where I literally said out loud in the store "Oh my gad I fucking hate people!" It was THAT bad! Grown ass women acting like they don't have a lick of sense in their heads! At one point I had to tell one woman about herself. Most days everyone is decent and kind and it's fun helping people, but days like today really suck. I had to come home and go to bed for an hour just so I could regroup and be "normal" again. I've been thanking Jesus all day that I have off tomorrow. lol! That place looked like a tornado blew through it!
Anyways, I hope everyone doing their holiday shopping is having fun. There are great deals out there... not that I've had the time to get any of them - lol!.
Tomorrow might be Christmas decoration day up in here. I wanna do it while my daughter's home from college.
Let's dance!!
lol!

Hello,
I am more or less new on playing the guitar
and my question are;
Does harmonizing scales help you learn guitar scales faster,
Did you ever use the CAGE system when playing.
Thanks You, Satriani

michelle: i see that stuff everyday. what gets me is this. most women are the ones who keep the house clean and get upset when someone makes a mess. most of the time women say its the men who make the mess. when i work the store manager uses me as a utility guy. i go from department to department depending on where they need the most help. so i get to work men's and women's clothing plus the home deptartment. i mean no disrespect but when it comes to shopping, women are total slobs. just like you said they knock stuff off the rack and ignore it. they step and runover stuff already on the floor and forget about the dressing rooms, omg, i watch women take an armfull of stuff into the dressing room and come out with 1 or no items and leave it all in a pile on the floor. men actually put stuff back on hangers and go out of thier way to find the racks they took the items off. not sure why this happens but that's the way it is. happy retailing!
well gonna go for a walk in the park with my beautiful wife and enjoy the sunshine while we can. no Patriots today they do the Monday night football thing with the 10-0 Saints who hopefully after tomorrow night will be 10-1! Go Pats! then gonna post some more vids on the now totally full of cheating vote riggers Chickenfoot site!
catchya later folks!

Watching CNN yesterday, that had a report on streamlining businesses with D'addario and they showed a lady sewing JS straps...i though it was cool when they explained at one time these were made in China ....but not anymore.....every string and strap is made here in LI, NY..couldnt find it on their site...stupid...but if i do ill post in...its interesting the new machinery they showed in this plant makeing Strings and drum heads...when i was a kid i would go through their garbage at their old plant in Farmingdale and pull bundles of strings...=)

Hi Joe! Do you by chance remember my father (Jim) from Carle Place HS? Says he grew up with you, also from Westbury, and played the drums during some jam sessions. Would be awesome if you remembered him! Also I believe my aunt was good friends with the twins.
