Joe....
I am so sorry to hear about your mother...
Your pain is in my heart as I think of you!!
I thought this poem was nice...I hope as the last line implies that your mum will live on in your music.
You were my mother and my friend,
Which was unusual.
Somehow our characters still blend:
Your wisdom and my will.
I turned, and you were there for me;
I spoke, you understood.
I felt cared for, but also free;
You loved, and I was good.
I'm fortunate that I was born
To someone just like you;
I love you still. Though you are gone,
You live in what I do.
big hugs Satriella xxx

Webmaster - does Joe have a PO Box where well wishers could send a card? For all the things Joe has done for all of us over the years, it seems that a message on the public forum isn't enough in this time of grief. It's such a tiny gesture, but it would sure mean a lot to me and I'm sure many others here.
Thanks.
Mark

Dear Joe,
Im am devastated and so sorry to hear about your Mum. She seemed like an incredible women from what has been said, and i certainly know that if the same had happened to me i would be torn apart! Im glad all was peaceful though and her friends and family were with her to help her pass over peacefully.

scubadaz - I tipped the scales at more than 10 pounds when I was born. As many people have told me, I always need to be VERY nice on Mother's Day. ;-)

Hey Joe.....
My Heart goes out to you......
Knowing the man you are or at least giving us fans a good insight as to who you are tells me your mum was a very caring and loving lady. As a parent myself, I know It starts with parenting and becomes up to the child to use this information to develop into a balanced man or women.
You're the Best Joe......
God Bless You and all of the Satriani family !!!!

Austin, my daughter was two weeks late and weighed in at 12lbs 6oz, looked like a butterball she did, now she is petite. My wife is quite proud of delivering that load au naturel with zero ripping or tearing.....

Everybody stay safe out there , this winter weather is treacherous.
My niece was in an accident last night, an ugly one but she walked away with cuts and bumps.
And we have an Ice Storm warning for Tonight.......so yes..... we are all staying in. (where are my candles and thank God for the wood stove if the power goes)

Peas Lily, where are you from? Our temp was in the 40's today here in PA. That's about the end of it. Cold & windy the rest of the week. I wouldn't trade anything for all 4 seasons though.

Blue_Moon-Alan....ITLIS, a Japan export? Did you make a deal with a Japanese dealer? How would one go about finding such an album?
How are things going with your JS1200 red beauty? Have you crafted any new songs together?

Well it's 39deg C here today, a real stinker! Hot as hades and heading into fire season so fingers crossed no biggies for us this summer.
GG2 - I bought ITLIS Japan on ebay it's pretty common. Shame about your guitar teacher not showing up. I have spent the whole year noodling around on guitar trying to teach myself so it is high time I get some lessons - hence it is on the Xmas list on the fridge for those in the house to see.

Al, I got the Japanese release too, thanks to Mikey. I should break it out and give it a listen tomorrow.
I had a few days off work, so when I went back in this morning they were glad to see me. I gave hugs to a bunch of people. Ya gotta let people know ya love 'em. Give hugs. Tell people ya love 'em. It can only make people happy, unless yer a stalker.

Does anyone still talk to Mikey? I miss that guy. Does he have the same email address he did way back when? Maybe I'll send him a note...
