Slan - LOL
Pee silly - I've seen no evidence of that. Then again I haven't seen a post today from the one person who might have clicked on.
Chunky monkey - Naw, I don't look anything like Chief Brodie. But I will take you up on that beer, cheers.

Peace Lilly / Guitarvibes - that Satch Dreams track is often known as "Heart of the Sun". It was something he did for Guitarist magazine (UK). On the CD that came with the mag there's the whole song, and just the backing
From memory, it was a Joe one take special, after hearing the backing track was. Great performance (as usual).
Right, back to the magic pants....
Cheese - that's also the "sign my pants" show isn't it? At what song can we see Chrispy, etc?

Pip, yep, that was the "sign my pants" show...hilarious moment, lol!
We actually appear quite a few times in that webcast, all 4 of us...just about any time they panned the audience. If you notice at the stage a really pregnant lady, she has dark hair and is wearing a bright red shirt, count over from her to the center of the stage about 4ish people, maybe 5, and you'll see Chris. He was at the stage barrier about in the middle. I'm just behind and to his left, Austin is just behind me and Patricia, who has white hair, is standing to Austin's left, 2nd row. She's kinda short but u shud be able to spot her hair :) Very sweet lady and probably Joe's biggest fan, given that she flies over from England to see his shows every chance she gets :)
All of us ended up at the Ventura show the very next night too, and sat together. It was a wunnerful trip!! After Chris and I flew home, we had about a 9 day stretch here and then off we went to 2 more EWJ shows in Portland and then Reno. Saw him 4 times, same show that April....and saw it twice in December in San Fran a few months prior. Gad DAMN those were good times, LOL!!!

cheese101 - Those shows were a lot of fun...thanks for the trip down memory lane. That setlist was great too, probably the favorite of any Satch tour I've seen. We got Hordes Of Locusts, Lords Of Karma, Up In The Sky, Psycho Monkey, Motorcycle Driver and Moroccan Sunset. I think those were all still there in April...I know they were there for the pnemonia shows in December at least.
axeshredderjc - Awesome news...I hope we finally see that album this year. I saw EJ in concert last January and he said his new album would be out "soon"...haha. Back when Bloom was almost ready for release, I heard through his management that he was considering making it a double album because he had so much stuff ready to go. Funny that it's taken him so long to get it all together, although it's fine because his stuff is always worth the wait.
I'm probably in the minority, but I'm excited to hear it'll be a vocal-heavy record. There's a vocal song he did when I saw him in early 2005, before Bloom was released, that I really loved and I was disappointed it didn't make the album. It was called Imagination...maybe it'll make the cut this time around.

Axeshredder and Do the Stu: I think Jonny Lang is going to sing on a track on EJīs new album, canīt wait for that either. Jonny is a underrated guitar player, I like his style, ..guys like Jonny Lang, Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Andy Timmons, Neil Zaza, Derek Trucks are guitar players we should hear more often, or even go to their concerts... They say that J. Lang is terrific in concert, that his guitar playing improves when he is on stage.

Blue_Moon Alan--"we set fire in the snow"......Uh, Al..is this some kind of winter ritual similar to Hogmanay? There's a lot of firebrand wavin' and twirlin' in the winter among the Scottish and Irish ppls! It's gotta be that time of year again...is that what it's about??? You ppls fascinate me!! ;-)

punkdude75 - I absolutely LOVE Jonny Lang. My first concert was him opening for Aerosmith in 1997. I saw him open for them again two years later, and then I've seen him do two solo shows in the past few years.
He was on the Experience Hendrix tour in 2007, and he may have gotten the most applause of anyone at the show I saw at the Greek Theatre. I'm glad he's doing the tour again this year... :-)

Peace Lily--Never heard of that one. Remember Blue Moon does have celtic roots and the winter time is for spreading fire.....just because the winter is so dark and bitterly cold! I wouldn't mind spending time around a bonfire in the land of Eire in winter! It would get me out of me house and among the ppls I love, instead of isolating meself in my home in Spring-like California!
Webmaster Jon--I love your posts. So timely!
