oh i see, high culture
update:
After disappointing results during the 2008/09 season he worked with a psychologist on the Canadian aerials team who introduced him to new techniques, including biofeedback. He started to analyse what he did during his training runs and in competition and noted the difference. The aim was to bring his relaxed training performances into line with some of his more nervous competition runs.
"For example, I listened to music before the competitions, which I did not during the training runs. I thus tried to break my routine. Now, I do not listen to any more music. I do not pay attention to the other skiers, but if I see or hear their result, I do not go crazy. I do not care for the others, if I make the descent which I am able to make, I will be able to win .That's the confidence that I have." (publicationsports.com, 21 May 2009)

I was with Cube at that show and believe me, Paul took Petrucci to school and spanked his ass but good.... Only Petrucci song that did anything for me was Glasgow Kiss and during the jam, Petrucci's tone was invisible, non-existant. He might as well have not been there......

Do the Stu, Elpp - Seems strange that they had toured together in the past. Petrucci and LaRue could not have seemed more distant during the G3 in Tokyo. Petrucci's solo stuff is fairly hard to find in a brick and mortar store. Can't even find it on Itunes.
I just ordered Bad Co's Dangerous Age off Amazon. That is one of my favorite Bad Company Cd's ever. I really liked Howe as their front man. Gave them a very different sound.
DTS - Hopefully something will give for you soon. You're in a difficult industry. You should try to become a concert critic and head out on the road!!

Part of an interview..............
Have you played Guitar Hero? I've heard some guitarists find it surprisingly difficult. Joe said........
I've stood at the end of the aisle at Best Buy and watched eight-year-old kids completely dominate the game, but I haven't played. A couple of my songs are featured on the games, so they've sent me the console. But I've never opened the box. I don't think it would be any fun for me -- there are only three or four buttons. Plus I seriously thought I'd mess up my head. One night onstage, I'd be looking for the green and yellow buttons and it would just be strings and frets and I'd be confused. Plus, I would think it would be a humbling experience to know an eight-year-old could kick your butt on your own songs.
I feel like it's already happened, just watching it in the store

My husband's uncle was from Algeria. He was extremely artistic. Painter and photographer. His career was as an interior designer for Boeing. Then he had an art gallery in Sedona. Facinating person.

Takfarinas, Thank you for asking about my mom. I just got word that she's going home from the hospital today. Her health has improved, but she's still not well, and she's pretty weak from doing nothing for a few weeks. Hopefully she'll gain more strength each day. She's a tough ol' bird, and she has so many good vibes and prayers from around the world to keep her strong thanks to all the lovely peeps here on T2J. I still can't visit her because I have a bad cold. I have to stay away until I'm well, which is really bumming me out, but it's for her safety.
She's going to be in for a shock when she see's how much snow we had. lol! She hasn't been out since the last 22 inch snow we had last Wednesday. lol! That snow fell on top of the previous 16 inches. Thatsalottasnow!!!

Hey Joe,
You should come to Maine sometime. Then I could actually make it to a show and that would be awesome.

hey everyone - i'm happy to say we finally have picked up access (thanks sony/epic!) to the http://facebook.com/joesatriani page and will be including that in our regular activities. so if you're a facebook person (and really, who isn't these days?) become a fan there and you'll get news streamed to you in that neck of the woods too.
this also sets us up for future facebook connect integration here on satriani.com (still a ways away, but on the horizon).
