Cappy...Yes...lots of control in the studio. And then you have to consider that those guys partied hard on the road with very little sleep. Even more so in the 60's and 70's. I'm not making excuses for JP though. Last night I was trying to find some decent live footage of him from back in the day..did'nt have much luck..lol.

Good Morning Satchland...... How goes it?
On the Page thingy. In the studio you can go over parts over and over again until it's right. "Live" it's one shot only. Editing back in the day was pretty primitive compared to today. Page gets a lot of criticism for being a sloppy player and I'm that camp. But, If you listen to the cd from the movie "Song Remains The Same" there's some really really great guitar work. Zeppelin was flawless that night. Plus, You can't take Page's songwriting away from him. One of the best Rock songwriters out there. Zeppelin's music is timeless, it's 40+ yrs. old and it's stands up to a lot of the music of today. Enough said...... Just my opinion.....end of rant......

Satriani, first, nice to meet you, I'm David Lucas, I would say you should see the fact that Coldplay's music is very similar to its "cold if you fly in a positive way. Maybe they made up with no intention to copy you. And if this is true, the fact is that his music is so good and pleasant it is already part of the collective, unconscious of the people, and even other artists. Congratulations on your wonderful work, your fan, David Lucas

Anyone see Joe playing in the Experience Hendrix concert in Mesa, Arizona last Sunday, May 7? It was really great concert with a dozen great guitar players all playing their own styles of Hendrix songs. Joe, you played really good Hendrix lead guitar with that beautiful, teal colored Ibanez guitar. I thought you played the best Hendrix style lead with your own twist on it. Good job! We really enjoyed it, and I wore my Joe Satriani t-shirt from one of your tours when I saw you play in Santa Rosa, California back in around 1999. Just learned to play "Always With Me, Alyways With You" from a book of your songs I bought.

Joe: Hope you're doing better.
Roo: Andrew, by the way, do you think it is possible to get some of those Pokémaker cards you made? If so, I would like some cards with Joe on it. Also, any luck on finding another copy of Joe's very first album: The Joe Satriani EP? If so, I would like to try to get a copy.
Webmaster: Jon, anymore news/updates on what is happening?
Austin, Michelle, Tracie, Andrew, Rick, Dave, Ian, Aron, Axeshredderjc, Skippygirl, Peace Lily, Pip55, Mark, Alan, and everyone:
5K Saturday morning (5K Kilt Run). Wish me luck and I'll be one of the many to wear a kilt in this run. If I ever win (that means 1st place overall, out of everybody), I'll do a jig to the fans. Let's see how this run goes. You can find more about this run on Facebook. Wish me luck everyone.

I just watched the "I Believe" music video, and kinda forgot how much I absolutely love that song. I keep listening to it over and over again because there are so many emotions hidden inside it. There is happiness and hopefullness in the refrain, but mystery and emptiness in the verses and the first ghostly solo. Then in the last solo you get an overwhelming feeling of happiness and almost a feeling of freedom. Yet, you watching the car drive away almost makes feel a little sad for some reason. I just love all of the emotion.
But, it got me wondering......
What dream did you believe in, Joe?
