Cappy:n every music shop worldwide would be cursed with young guitarists arsin that track up for decades, i cant remember where i saw it but in one of these shops it had a signpost reading "no stairway to heaven" lmao
My fav Zep track The Song Remains the same best version of it imo

Slan - Stairway to heaven always reminds me of a ship I was on years ago. The captain was called Hebden. We had Brit crew who were pissed up much of the time so there was much being late for work, fisticuff parties etc. As such, the guilty parties had to 'go upstairs' to the captain for punishment (NO, not buggery in the barrel!).
Somebody had an old Zep poster and a sign was made in the same font/style and it was placed in the stairwell on the crew deck. It said...........
"Stairway to Hebden"

One of my favorite paired songs is from the soundtrack "The Song Remains The Same" when they play the title song and then slip into "The Rain Song". It damn near brings tears to my eyes when John Paul Jones comes in with the violin sounds..

One of the cool things I like to do when in foriegn lands is visit a cemetery where famous people are interred. Anyone who has ever been to Paris and visited Pere Lachaise (usually to see Jim Morrison's resting place) will tell you how interesting it is to see all of the famous names. Anyway, many years ago I was in Vienna visiting such a cemetery when I was struck by a terrible odour and what sounded like music being played backwards! I asked the security guard what was going on and he said:
"That's just
.
.
.
.
.
Mozart decomposing!!"

Hey Joe, nice to see some blue!
On the Zep theme, I don't have a particular favourite but Black dog followed by Rock and roll on the so called Led Zep 4 are my favourite start to any album I have ever heard.

Thx for the link to Joe's interview. I've learn things I didn't know from his early times. For instance, the 6.000$ credit in his mail box, LOL

So Joe you do check into T2J! I thought that was highly unlikely. I watched the live YT event and chatted with some peeps in the chat room, it was good fun, but way too short :0).
fatape - another Aussie, fantastic.
roo - any more details of the proposed Aussie tour, I'd better start saving now.....

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the blue!
I have a proposal--Would it be possible to check you out of a branch of San Francisco Public Library as a "living book"? Santa Monica, CA's public library had a special day in October when visitors to the library could check out any of 14 people for up to 30 minutes. These people came from all walks of life and I'm sure the patrons learned lots about their life styles and careers. Maybe Jeff Campitelli, Stu and Galen could participate, too. Also, Mike Manning?..... Maybe other San Francisco Bay Area Musicians (e.g., Greg Kihn) could take part as well.
I would love to find out what you think of this arrangement.
Thanks for your soulful sound and beautiful music!
Milli or GoldenGirl2
