Grant - Dead easy, I was just wondering if SupaaDave had mentioned on FB (which you referred to) why he hasn't been posting here recently. As ole Scooby Doo alluded though, there may indeed be a touch of the rapscallion in me.

I think Youtube the actual website has crashed. I try going on and it says http1.1 unavailable. Is this happening to anybody else? I just hope it's not only me with this problem.
Sorry everybody. It works now. They were just performing site maintenance.

Cappy Steve: As far as I know, no, McDave hasn't said anything. Why do you ask?
GoldenGirl2: Millie, hope you and Steve are well. Enjoy the music by Hendrix.

Oxley11- I would say that your video is an excellent first effort, and excellent choice of Satriani solos, although I can't think of any Joe solo's I don't love. :-)

I just wanted to share some sad news with my extended family here.
My mom passed away today. Complications with her heart. She will be deeply missed.
I needed Joe's music more than ever today. Thanks Joe.

jsTony - condolences on the loss of your mother. I was just driving home an hour ago with Satch on the ipod and thinking how even the songs he wrote about sad things (Cryin', Revelation etc) are expressed in terms of hope and positivity somehow, and they make you feel you can accept the sadness but focus on the hope.

oxley11 - Cool YouTube video...that's a neat thing that you put together. A few comments from me:
- Ceremony: My favorite parts of this song aren't in the solo at all...in fact, my favorite moment would be the lick that begins right where your clip ends, haha. ;-)
- Chords Of Life: One of my favorite Satch moments ever...nice choice!
- New Blues: Good, but if I had to pick one moment from The Extremist it'd be from Why (2:34-2:52 specifically).
- Rubina: The ending to that solo is another of my favorite Satch moments.
- A Cool New Way: I'd go with another song from Super Colossal instead of this one...probably Ten Words (1:42-2:26).
Looking forward to the rest of your list...I wonder if the pieces I mentioned will be on it.
jsTony - Sorry to hear about your mom...let us know if there's anything we can do. What's a Satch song that you've been listening to a lot lately, to help? Maybe we can do the same...
...Austin...

thanx for the well wishes blue, my sister lives in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, of like she said yesterday no Hope Valley!lol even though it's a small state her end of it, the southern part got 6 inches more rain than we did in the northern part.
thanx michelle, peace, glitz! we're fine, just a little tired of bailing water. our house is fine. when i finished our basement to install our Cabo Club Northeast, i waterproofed all the walls and floor! alot of other people have lost everything though. when we were driving home from my sisters, it took 2 hours for a 45 minute ride becuase of all the road closures, we saw a lot of misery. some people's homes are totally submerged and you just know they aren't going to get any help from the insurance companies. they'll probably deny coverage due to an act of god or something like that. it really was heartbreaking. me and the mrs. are going to try to head to the worst area today to see if we can help in some way. hard to sit by and watch people in your local area in need and not help.
i'm chompin at the bit for another Chickenfoot cd and tour! they definitely just scratched the surface.
my thoughts are with you jstony. well wishes to you and your family.
