jmh - did he play "Smoke on The Water"? :0)))
You know how some songs you never quite know the actual lyrics because you can't hear them clearly? After listening to G3 Tokyo again I decided to look up the lyrics to La Grange for the first time in my life, because even though my friends and I have got the "har har har" parts nailed at parties over the last 25 years, we always had to mumble through some of the verses. Hilarious to find out what its actually about!

These is all part of a famous leyend here in Mexico that tels about a woman that killed her kids after loosing every comon sence.
I invite you Joe, aned every one to come and visit us at this incredible experience. It is definitly a scarry and amazing experience.

David Gilmore concert on VH1 Classic. man!!! Such talent!! He's as much a joy for me to watch as Joe's DVD's. Very different kind of joy. Joe makes me feel up and really alive. Gilmore always makes me feel really chill and mellow in a great way.

hybes, you are correct the neck is absolutly fine, fine, FINE. it plays exactly like my strat. the vai jem7v is just slightly wider, but i can easily adjust to the small diff when i go from 1 guitar to another. it is the lightest of the 3 but i'll get used to that. got a heck of a deal too. the 1200 was on sale for $1200. i can not complain and i got them to throw in 3 sets of string a JS strap and a 25' cable. not to bad i think. it is going to look good with joes siggy on it.

I was listening to The Extremist earlier today. Cryin' is such a beautiful song. Would be absolutely killer if Joe added it back to the setlist.
Mr Joe Satriani, may I respectfully ask you to please add Cryin' back to the setlist, particularly for all your November shows, and even more particularly for the El Paso show :) Thanks!

slanshroom: Well, that's the nail in the religion coffin then! ;-) I'm sure there are some, well many, that would have something to say about that...=D
maritime: You're right, you know things are bad when an 8 year old can influence grown voters...
Cappy Steve: Love that joke, doesn't politics bring out the best in comedians?!
JsPhil: Yes, Lewis does need to do his best to not give these people ammo against him. Lets just hope the stewards aren't called in any time soon, but ex-driver stewards would be a breath of fresh air for all involved I reckon. Guitar prog was good, it's very interesting to see all the players in that context, you can sort of track influences through. Roll on Hendrix! Speaking of him, there was a 'Guitar Heroes at the BBC' prog on BBC4 last night with some cracking performances by the likes of Thin Lizzy, Santana, Rory Gallagher and John Martyn. (some of it was mimed though =() Gilmour+Strat=excellent Strat+1954001=wow You do the maths, it's a good combination!
hybes: 'Gilmore always makes me feel really chill and mellow in a great way.' That's a great way of describing it! He really is one of the very best players out there.
elpp: Guess what I'm listening to...yup same album. Don't you just love 'War'?

OUT OF THE SETLIST- i wish i could put my favorite VH albums in order of preference, but 5150, Woman and children first; are LP's and i don't have a record player anymore. i think the latter was my least favorite. i would have to go back and listen to some of them. i can't even remember what tunes were on OU812 and thats a CD by the way.
has anyone bought one of those record players where u can change the signal from analog to digital? would definitly be interested in doing that. i have so many old great albums that i would still love to listen to. Tod Rundgren, T-Rex, 10 yrs after, rolling stones, etc. etc. it would cost a fortune to replace them all, if you can even find them!!
Michelle- thanks for the video. those are like some of the worst stock anyone could pick!! come on! it was cute though. :) I am not one of those people that succumb to fear tactics, you just grouped evryone who doesn't like obama into this category. typical Obama speak. I know how to keep an open mind and get the facts. I just don't trust Obama and i don't like his policies. It is quite possible...he..is...........the ANTI CHRIST! I would be LOL if i didn't think it was true. http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=MgMO0L2nPwo
