Yikes, how many pages....

Joe - please put Cryin' and Musterion back in the set list as I'm not coming all that way if they're still dropped ; )

Stooo - good to see you hear, surely that can't be your first ever post? We're all glued to your Youtoob vids, and you captured Joe talking about me too so - THANKS!

Igenousiceman - I'm passing on the GP, couldn't take the responsibility of turning up and it being my fault if you see what I mean LOL So, do you fancy one of these he he he

JS1200JS1000 - where are you in the podcast matey? Give us a time stamp and a description or sumthin?

Do The Stu - hey, that didn't last very long (OOTS) but good to see you held on to your nick. How's that Super Colossal email going LMAO... just kidding.

SAN FRAN GIG - so it looks like someone was blowing smoke up my... anyway, I'm still looking at heading to the San Fran gig regardless but it's a little late in the day. Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay?

Skippygirl - you won any CD's lately??

Roo - two JS1000BK's? Isn't that just plain greedy LOL? Do you get hit with import tax on that? Also, where would you say "Master of the Art" was recorded? It sounds like the same recording as "extremist tour live" to me, although I haven't listened to the latter for a while

Tuesdayschild - eek, that forum thing sounds painful! Some forums can be a pain in the arse an bite you. Best to go anony-mouse and tread carefully. Hope it all clears up.

Roxyone - depressing the whammy to the point of the strings going slack shouldn't have any effect, Joe (and others) do it often. It should spring back to pitch and nothing should fly off, it's designed for that

Maritime - love that rehearsal video and the story about the music book. That's where I got my nick from, it made me laugh so much

Michelle - who's Red, Jeff or Galen? You have mail BTW

A couple more 'funnies' here for y'all:

Investment tips for 2008

With all the turmoil in the market and the collapse of Lehman Bros and Acquisition of Merrill Lynch by Bank of America this might be some good advice. For all of you with any money left, be aware of the next expected mergers so that you can get in on the ground floor and make some BIG bucks.

Watch for these consolidations later on this year:

1.) Hale Business Systems, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Fuller Brush, and W R. Grace Co. Will merge and become: Hale, Mary, Fuller, Grace.

2.) Polygram Records, Warner Bros., and Zesta Crackers join forces and become: Poly, Warner Cracker.

3.) 3M will merge with Goodyear and become: MMMGood.

4.) Zippo Manufacturing, Audi Motors, Dofasco, and Dakota Mining will merge and become: ZipAudiDoDa .

5.) FedEx is expected to join its competitor, UPS, and become: FedUP.

6.) Fairchild Electronics and Honeywell Computers will become: Fairwell Honeychild.

7.) Grey Poupon and Docker Pants are expected to become: PouponPants.

8.) Knotts Berry Farm and the National Organization of Women will become: Knott NOW!

And finally...

9.) Victoria 's Secret and Smith &Wesson will merge under the new name: TittyTittyBangBang

Bye for now : )

Joe or Jeff, What are the odds of getting a used pair of sticks for my collection? I'm trying desperately to get tickets to the Nov 06 show in Dallas, but not having any luck! HELP! I'm a firefighter, and need to be present and close to make sure your strings don't catch on fire! Seriously, need help getting tickets and sticks! Not ashamed to ask for charity! And Jeff, I promise you won't see the sticks on EBAY!

brittanysdaddy; usually when you take lessons from a person who teachs professionally you have to pay them. it is their job. i am sure every1 back then paid joe for his lessons. heck i pay for the satch zone now. if you asked me to teach you mma or scuba..you would pay me for that.

Tikimon - enjoy the show. I know you will. I don't know how The Satchmeister maintains such a level of perfection and intensity from night to night to night......but somehow he, jeff, galen and stooooooo manage to do it.

I know your in for a treat. Shout back after -- Latah!

You are right. This political garbage recks the page.

Music spreads its healing tonic on us and makes us better people! I do prefer to get with the music and stay there.

brittanysdaddy, i have some theroy. like you don't do as much theroy as i should but then i play what i feel and hear in my head and soul. i quit wanting to learn other people songs, but rather listen to riffs, licks and phrases they play and seek to add what i find pleasing. i don't want to play like joe because i am not. i do want to borrow/learn things he does so i can express myself better. music is a very personal thing to me and prolly every1 else here that plays. how well i play is an objective and subjective subject depending on who you are. i find i always have room for improvement in almost every endevor.

I love bands like Symphony X because they purposely AVOID politics in their music. It's about fantasy and other things besides how ****ed up the world is. Plus they just rock. :)

tikimon the way i see it i want to always be moving forward but ive kind of plateaued, i dont spend too much time on other peoples music. i do agree with u im constantly comparing myself to others and im considering their successes as my failures. ive gave up on everything except guitar i dont want to add that to the list, im just having trouble finding my own voice. hopefully i find it. do u have any vids up anywhere i could check out?

I'm missing some Satch CDs! In fact, I'm missing and have missed a lot.

I've been searching for a cure for epilepsy--I don't want my Steve (husband) to suffer another day. This mountain weighs heavy on me. My days are spent mostly at work and in prayer and meditation. I often feel isolated and lonely.

We have been married for 27 years. He was diagnosed when he was 15 and it screwed up his high school years. I just want him to get out of these unconscious staring spells that happen at least once a week. Doctors don't know what to do except MAYBE surgery or radiation.

Why is life so complicated? I think I've said enough.

Listening to "CRYING" and "MADE OF TEARS"

Joe Satriani :

Thanks for the Oct 26 Atlanta show (I was the guy in the Superman shirt). I really appreciate your taking the time for a photo and doodling on my strap after such a long night. I hope you benefitted from my gift. Let me know. Catch ya later, thanks again man.

Galen, Jeff & Stu :

Thanks to you guys also; Galen: for signing my friend's ticket at the last second; Jeff: for signing my ticket; Stu: for signing my lightning strap (and for the pick).

ZuperDaveMcCarthy :

I examined at least half of Rich's Ibanez_Rules site (most of his tech stuff). Thanks a lot for posting it. In about 3 years when/if I have saved up enough money for a JS guitar, I'll check with him first.
