What a beat. I was the first and only contestant for one month for the after show pass for the Starland Ballroom. Only three people signed on and I didn't win. Don't want to complain but being there was only three can't you give three passes? That would make my day being it is me and my wife's 29th wedding anniversary and I picked to see Joe. email address is: yegap@comcast.net

Attended the show last night at the Keswick. I took my 13 yr old son. He was in awe. He never heard of Leslie West, but was very impressed. I don't have the new CD by Joe, but after last night I'll be picking it up. I have to go through my pictures from last night, and post the good ones. This was my fourth time seeing Joe, and look forward to many more. I Just Wanna Rock!

Hi Out of the Setlist (Do the Stu) I'm going to check out both Almost Famous and Laurel Canyon...

I was looking into the background of 'Still Crazy' a bit today after posting here...yes it seemed it pretty much bombed on this side of the Atlantic too. It's got a big following now even though that was 10 years ago. It's a cult thing.

I didn't realise today that the particular bunch of actors were well used to hanging out together in the same movies and have done for many years. Bruce Robinson (the oh so sensitive soul that is Brian in Still Crazy) directed 'Withnail and I' (another cult movie) with Bill Nighy and Jimmy Nail, and appeared in it too. I've never seen it so I'll have to rent it out. Also, I read today that Bill Nighy has based his character on David Coverdale!

ZuperDave....sadly...we took it to the guitar Dr. and there was nothing that could be done to fix it :(((((((( It was a bad situation all the way around. They had to replace his guitar, but refused to get another JS1200 due to the cost of a new one (I had bought it used on ebay for a good price) so they basically matched what I paid and he has another Ibanez that he likes well enough, but still mourns his 1200. Me too.

It's Monday.....all damn day. FFS.

Hey Joe!

The show at Keswick last night was awesome! Every song absolutely rocked that place and the blues jam with Mountain really finished off the night in a way only Satch knows how to do.

You need MORE shows in PA!!! See ya next time around--

Tuesdayschild - Awesome...I had no idea you haven't seen Almost Famous. Definitely start with that one. Are you familiar with the story at all? It's loosely based on Cameron Crowe's life growing up, following Led Zeppelin and other bands on the road. One of the reasons it was big in the US was because it was the first (and to date, only) movie to really feature multiple LZ songs on the soundtrack.

I have the special edition DVD, and it includes a scene cut from the movie where Stairway To Heaven played in full. Cameron Crowe couldn't get the rights for that song, so what he did is include it on the special edition DVD without music. There's an onscreen note that tells you to grab your copy of LZ IV, and then a timer that counts down to tell you when to push play. ;-)

Enjoy the movies (both of 'em)...I'd love to hear what you think...

Investment tips for 2008

With all the turmoil in the market today and the collapse of Lehman Bros and Acquisition of Merrill Lynch by Bank of America this might be some good advice. For all of you with any money left, be aware of the next expected mergers so that you can get in on the ground floor and make some BIG bucks.

Watch for these consolidations later on this year:

1.) Hale Business Systems, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Fuller Brush, and W R. Grace Co. Will merge and become: Hale, Mary, Fuller, Grace.

2.) Polygram Records, Warner Bros., and Zesta Crackers join forces and become: Poly, Warner Cracker.

3.) 3M will merge with Goodyear and become: MMMGood.

4.) Zippo Manufacturing, Audi Motors, Dofasco, and Dakota Mining will merge and become: ZipAudiDoDa .

5.) FedEx is expected to join its competitor, UPS, and become: FedUP.

6.) Fairchild Electronics and Honeywell Computers will become: Fairwell Honeychild.

7.) Grey Poupon and Docker Pants are expected to become: PouponPants.

8.) Knotts Berry Farm and the National Organization of Women will become: Knott NOW!

And finally...

9.) Victoria 's Secret and Smith &Wesson will merge under the new name: TittyTittyBangBang

you wont have schizophrenia, they told me at kingston psychatric whic is called providence continuing care now that schizophrenia is common in people above 114 year,s old it occur,s naturally so the only way you would get it is by outlasting the fibren coating on the brain i think they had some years wrong though well they told me that my schizophrenia was probably actauly bothering me since I was 127 years old but that would have made me 132 then and I am 132 now my dillusion disorder at kingston psych they told me it developed around 119 year,s old so unless you live to be as old as dad your fine my schizophrenia cant cause errors or damage like in you and stuff actual crazy people anyways just a tid bitt later wolf2.
