Goats head soup. That takes me back, haven't listened to it in years. Star star, quite shocking at the time.

JSPhil: Yup, going to be a tense couple of races. One problem, I'm at the Manchester Velodrome watching the World Cup athe day of the Brazilian GP! Noooo! I agree, they should have at least mentioned Joe. Really good playing by Steve on the clip though.
'Effin bus was late today, made me stand out in the rain for half an hour :( I'm still happy and postitive though! =D

Got Head Soup was just after Exile on Main St. By far, my favorite Stones album

Edit: well, maybe not "by far". Sticky Fingers, Some Girls, Beggars Banquet..are not so bad

gotta love those kinda jokes. i just got through with about 90 minutes of playing the js1200 on my legacy and twin reverb amps. holy moly. when i compare it to the jem7v they are very similar but somehow just different enough to be able to hear the suble difference in nuances. the main noticeable diff is the jem has the middle pickup and 5 position switch so i can get some single coil strat like sounds. mmmm i love it. can't decide which will be the daily driver so i won't and just play them both. i am very happy with the 1200 and will be more so when i get the joe personal touch.

my favorite stones in no particular order, beggars banquet, sticky fingers, exile on main street, its only rock n roll. hmmm that turned out to be in chronological order i think

currently listening to james "the godfather of soul" brown. i'm on the scene like a sex machine

I saw Iced Earth last night in Portland. Their performance was amazing, definitely worth the long wait. however I am very disspointed in the sound at the Hawthorne Theater. It almost ruined the show it was so bad. But even bad sound can't ruin Iced Earth! I'm gonna go see them in Seattle next month.

mikesb,

Sorry to hear Peter Green and Santana don't do anything for you.

I like listening to Santana at least once a week. I have been listening to his music since 1970.

Cappy--My Steve is hiding and I can't get through to him! He won't come out even when I put on his favorite music CDs!! Please help!

I need to leave for work in a minute, but two quick things:

Check out Dave Weiner's new Riff Of The Week:

http://www.youtube.com/user/DAVEWEINER

His new album will be nearly 80 minutes long...awesome! But listen to this week's ROTW...he plays part of a really cool acoustic piece from the album. The song starts at about 4:00, I think it is...

Dr Pepper making good on Guns N Roses offer:

"According to Billboard.com, interested fans are being asked to visit DrPepper.com on November 23, the day "Chinese Democracy" is released in the U.S. exclusively via Best Buy. After registering online, fans will receive a coupon redeemable for a 20-oz. Dr Pepper wherever the drink is sold.

The twist: the coupon is only available for 24 hours and will expire on February 28."

Thoroughly Golden Millie - Steve's are funny creatures, they might as well be from different planets because half the time our brain appears to have been transported elsewhere! At least mine does!

What you need to do is get him a nice beer. If he doesn't come out for that he is not worthy of the name Steve and you should have him shot.

I love beer.
