GG2 Oh my gosh. I'm glad someone agrees with me! lol. Seriously, I wanna talk and hear about guitars, Satch, shows, music, etc. while here. Almost anything besides that is fine.

I love bands like Symphony X because they purposely AVOID politics in their music. It's about fantasy and other things besides how ****ed up the world is. Plus they just rock. :)

tikimon the way i see it i want to always be moving forward but ive kind of plateaued, i dont spend too much time on other peoples music. i do agree with u im constantly comparing myself to others and im considering their successes as my failures. ive gave up on everything except guitar i dont want to add that to the list, im just having trouble finding my own voice. hopefully i find it. do u have any vids up anywhere i could check out?

I'm missing some Satch CDs! In fact, I'm missing and have missed a lot.

I've been searching for a cure for epilepsy--I don't want my Steve (husband) to suffer another day. This mountain weighs heavy on me. My days are spent mostly at work and in prayer and meditation. I often feel isolated and lonely.

We have been married for 27 years. He was diagnosed when he was 15 and it screwed up his high school years. I just want him to get out of these unconscious staring spells that happen at least once a week. Doctors don't know what to do except MAYBE surgery or radiation.

Why is life so complicated? I think I've said enough.

Listening to "CRYING" and "MADE OF TEARS"

Joe Satriani :

Thanks for the Oct 26 Atlanta show (I was the guy in the Superman shirt). I really appreciate your taking the time for a photo and doodling on my strap after such a long night. I hope you benefitted from my gift. Let me know. Catch ya later, thanks again man.

Galen, Jeff & Stu :

Thanks to you guys also; Galen: for signing my friend's ticket at the last second; Jeff: for signing my ticket; Stu: for signing my lightning strap (and for the pick).

ZuperDaveMcCarthy :

I examined at least half of Rich's Ibanez_Rules site (most of his tech stuff). Thanks a lot for posting it. In about 3 years when/if I have saved up enough money for a JS guitar, I'll check with him first.

Joe Satrini: 2x JS1000BK? - Have a project I'm working on, I'll let you know how it works out... ;)

And I know there was a little duplication in shows on some bootlegs, if you can let me know which ones are duplicate (can you have a listen?) I can update it.

Otherwise it might take a while to get around to doing this.

If you do work it out, just add a comment to one of them on the site and I'll cross-reference them properly.

Thanks, Roo

So if you stay after the show does Joe usually let fans see him or invite anyone back after? Is there any contests before to get to meet them? My son is an avid fan would really like to give him an opportunity to meet his hero! tnx

Hello all...

Michelle and others:

Do you know how the government actually works?

If doesn't matter who the president is, IF congress disapproves of his decisions and votes against his policies.

That being said, it WASN'T Bush who got us here as it is more so CONGRESS. You can have the smartest president ever and if congress votes against him, then he will not get anything done. SO when you say it is all Bush's fault, you are really showing your ignorance.

Conversely, you can have an idiot as the president, and if they vote for his bad policies, they will all get enacted.

Having a well speaking positive idiot in the office is as bad as having an intentful evil malicious person in the office.

These got act like idiots to take the blame for a lot of things while most of the people are being CONNED. These guys, with maybe a couple of exceptions, are in league with each other. Failure to recognize that is beyond ignorance.

BTW... a smear can still BE THE TRUTH.

If someone isn't willing to call some one out on something, smear or not, then why would they ever worry about fighting for what you want?

If your boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating on you, and I know it, are you saying that I shouldn't tell you cause it would be a smear on your current SO?

The second amendent is not a license to shoot each other in the streets. Only someone who cannot control their emotions would say that... that is also why we have laws against murder.

I have trained martial arts for a long time, yet I do not go around punching people just because I have the knowledge and abilities to use the natural weapons that I was born with. Infact, training martial arts made me more respectful of other people since I understand how easy it is to get hurt, and I don't want to fight someone with a weapons like a knife, or a GUN.

BTW, they both voted on the bailout bill..which is a bad idea....and another example of how congress screws things up....a la the COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT.... which is the actually thing that got us in the financial mess. Do your own research... instead of listen to the bought out news or opinion blogsites. Hope you all like being SLAVES TO TAXES, cause that bump in the debt just made every man, woman and child responsible for about another $3,300 dollars more.

That is, if you really care about this country, and your friends and family.... more so than watching 90210 or any of the other crap out there....

Most people have need to use their minds and not be mislead by their feelings.

I have never used a feeling to repair my vehicle, but I have used my knowledge to repair it.

I all for keeping politics off of here, but I will not remain silent when ignorance speaks and threatens me, my family, my friends, my fellow countrymen, and my country.

LAter,

GuitarSamuri

Brittanysdaddy-I also think that "the crush of love" is the best Satriani´s song, I remember that I used to smoke with that song, and to listen to it when I was enlove. Great times.

Wow, I think I just heard fireworks.

GS, so your bottom line is, everyone is an ignorant idiot, and no one is fit to run this country. Bravo.

Now back to the music - How would you players like to be judged by the artist you cover? CHECK THIS OUT. MachineGunSmith sent in his version. That dude kills on the drums.

Here's another one on guitar

Go try it!!

and T-Bones, This one is just for you :-)
