GoldenGirl...get well soon. As far as the healthcare issue is concerned, its all about greed as far as I can tell. In fact I would go as far as saying that some of the things that make us all sick are easily cured. But that would mean less $$$ for doctors and HMO's....I really do believe they put money ahead of healing people. Almost as bad as the bankers.

slansh: superdave is right on with his description of the satchurator. blues it up very good and makes it just short of that super metal sound that annoys most humans.

dan was very personable and humble. when he was at slow speed he was ridiculousy fast. he was stickly at the school. i have also been lucky enough to train with 1 of dans top guys in eric paulson. he was the 1st non japanese to win the shooto championship over there. he is a master fighter and trainer. superfoot on the other hand is on my speeddial and i have been to his house and stayed there for daytona bike week. that is an open ended invite. i have had the pleasure of following him around florida for lots of seminars at other schools. my instructor is VP of the superfoot system and our school is world HQ for it. if ya EVER get over here during any of his visits or seminars, you are in and will meet the man. for that matter if he ever goes over there anywhere near you i will try to arrange a meet for you. bill is of scottish heritage and spent 2 weeks over there 2 years ago. next year i hope to tour some of texas and a couple of other states with him on seminars. bill is a riot and has THE BEST stories about the karate world when it was first starting to evolve in the late 60's through the 80's. he has met every1 in the MA world.

Okay Super Dave, you WIN, lol!!! It's much colder where u are...here it keeps changing from about 37 to 43...psychotic weather!! But I'm cold anyway....I'd rather not have it plummet to -1 degree though, thank you VERY MUCH!

One of our days in San Fran, I think it was Sunday...it was like 80 degrees out and clear enough to see the bay from our hotel window. San Fran is a very fun town, lots to see and do, but I do so hate driving there, although Joe said a person gets used to it....I wonder how many years I'd hafta be there before tranquilizers wouldn't be necessary to drive down the street, lol!!

They were starting to put up Christmas decos on the store fronts too, very pretty. I bet it gets even better before it's all over.

Millie, thanks....I know I must have more to reply to but am still in my "am I really home, is it really over" mode....back at work and that SUX!!! lol.....I miss running around the streets of San Fran with my buds, even though by the end of the trip about the only thing Mckenna could say anymore is "I'm sick of the abyoose" and "Yer all CRAZY" (insert Irish accent here). I tot I was doing a fine impression of an Irish person but for some reason, he just kept shaking his head at me, lol!! And my son kept laughing every time he even looked at Mc....he's a funny guy without even trying!! I do hope he's willing to share his mug shot with everyone though, it's priceless.

So many things happened this trip, big and small and all precious, it's hard to even know where to start. Maybe I'll post a more coherant 'diary' later...but I guess the main thing is, we all survived, we had a kick-ass great time, almost no one got arrested, and we're all safe and sound....fer now.

I have definite thoughts about the ChickenPA tour though and plenty of time to make evil plans, LOL!!! Don't be skerred Joe....it's many months away yet :D

Cappy, yer a feck and gee thanks fer telling me that, I'da never known without U........lol!!

Yesterday my husband and I saw the CEO for General Motors on tv begging for MORE money to bail out the auto indusrty. Seems they didn't get enough with the initial 700 BILLION. They asked this dude if he was willing to take a pay cut to help out the industry. He says "I'm fine where I'm at" or something along those lines, and didn't even blink. GM and the American auto industry are saying they're going under, and it will be thousands of ppl out of jobs. Wanna know why? Cause asshole CEO's like this scab are making 9.5 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR and refuse to take a pay cut. I say fire the whole feckin' lot of those greedy bastards, and start fresh with new salary caps and new rules, and only hire people who are willing to do what's best for the companies, NOT what's best for themselves. It's time for the greed in corporate America to be put to an end.

WOW I can't believe it Joe had his US tour and NO stops in the Pacific Northwest!!???!!! Why Joe??? Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, BC all got left off the tour?? I was soo looking forward to seeing you LIVE again. This would have been the first tour that I would have actually been able to SEE you play. I have had eye issues for several years and now that they are fixed I can see again!

Please tell me you will be coming this way soon.

Thanks and may you ALL have a great holiday season!!!

Hey Joe! I have a guitar to sell you. I'm your number 1 fan for sure and have been constructing a guitar out of legos for the past month. It's done and I'm giving you first crack at buying it. Reply if you want it. It plays great and sounds pretty decent too. The legos resonate differently than any other wood. Reply to this message or something.

I'm playing catch-up on posts over the last week or so...T2J says I have 281 that are unread, but I know I replied to a bunch in the middle when I was away so this should be quick.

SuperDaveMcCarthy - It looks like you got a Satchurator a week ago...I assume you love it, yeah? Any sound clips you can share?

cosmic_ape - I just saw your old post too...it was cool to meet you at the LA gig as well. I drove by MI the other day as I was dropping Al off at his hostel...maybe you'll run into him later this week. ;-)

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to make it to the gig.

Croujdane - If you dig through my recent posts you'll see links to three MP3s of songs from a bootleg of Joe's Experience Hendrix gig. It's in one of my posts from 11/13, I believe.
campbell - Maybe we've already talked about this, but your family in Cerritos and Downey aren't too far from where I'm at in Long Beach... What a (relatively) small world.

When's your Opeth gig? I saw them on the Progressive Nation tour with Dream Theater earlier this year. I don't know if I'd ever go see them on their own, but they put on a great show. You'll have a good time.

Skippygirl - I don't know if you've looked at any more YouTube videos, but for San Diego and LA I was center stage, right up on the barricade.
OK, 181 posts to go...but I think I'll stop for now.

...Austin...

You did it again ! another "meet & greet" with Paul Gilbert. Your photo with him is very cool !
And yes, Craig was also a surprise for me. He was bouncing all over the left of the stage all the time, and having a great time. Did I say before that I loved Red House ?

What time is it?? (and no UK'rs, it's NOT chico time!). It's feckin california time is what it is.... it's so funny this, on all my travels I've never had the body clock so screwed up... everyone here is laughing at me saying it's my own fault - well I don't care : ) I had fun!

Cheese - thanks for the photos, group shot is cool! I didn't think to get my camera out and take some more. Glad the lesson was as memorable as it should have been, and that you & Chris had so much Joe this trip. Being at work after a trip like that blows big style.. but there's always next time to look forward to - he he he, look out

Do The Stu - I forgot that I didn't get a chance to say bye to your pops and it was nice to meet him so if you could pass that on? Was cool chatting about Marino & AF with him. More posts & emails & stuff to come but before I forget, X-Files movie really cool (and you were spot on about removing 5 minutes and there being no association). Too bloody insightful by far!

Michelle - I've lost the post you made to me, but I'll check back and post properly. It did mention something about those "mountains" in reno being flat. Are they really that small compared to where you are? Holy sh...

I'll check back and post properly soon, but I have to try and force myself to sleep... as it's been 2 hours a night roughly since Nov 15th LMAO

Phil, where I grew up, I had to walk up half a mountain every day to go to school. lol! Here is a pretty cool link I found from the top of the mountain looking down. On the shot that says you can see my old high school, I lived at the bottom of the hill to the left kinda between that bigger red bldg and the white one where it looks like the railroad tracks and grass run through in the lower middle of the shot. PA is full of mountains and hills. Check out the link at the bottom of the page for the Pagoda. We used to hike up the mountain when we were kids and hang out up there. You can go inside and go to the top and look out at the city. It's so old and beautiful. In recent years, there have been arsonist fires on the mountain, so a year or two ago they started to tear down all the trees around the Pagoda just in case. I'm not sure if they're gonna build a park there or what. I hope so, because the last time we were there a few months back, it looked hideous. They also have scaffolding up on it now for it's 100th anni. restoration.

Warning, longish post, catching up back to peeps....

Millie....I think I'd need Xanax to drive anywhere in San Fran, geez!! Even the "easy drive" is hard, lol!! That's why, when I finally made it to the parking garage, I parked my car and abandoned it fer the rest of the trip...only got it outta there when I had to to come home! Joe may have "buns of steel" from his workouts, but he's also gotta have "nerves of steel" to be comfortable driving there, LOL!! Hope u feel better soon.

Glitz Man...ty....anytime seeing Joe is the BEST time, beginning to end. But for this trip...which btw was totally enhanced by running around with a pack of other T2J'ers, I'd hafta say our favorite part was my son's lesson with Joe :) I'll post some pics from that in a bit. Klamish Flats is located in southern Oregon, near the Cali border...so as I always say, we're Joe's neighbors, lol!!

Phil...we tried to get Mckenna locked up at Alcatraz but he's tricky and he escaped! Sorry to hear yer finally on California time, LMAO! Ahem, no, I'm not really laughing....but...just wait till next year I say!! Start saving yer pennies, yer a part of the group now and in it DEEP!! Great pics btw, thanks for sharing...more? Joanie has the shot of u, me and Chris, and it's lovely :) I'm sure she'll share when she gets a chance.

roo...P2P? Whazzat? lol....and ummmm yeah....a copy to u...suuuuuuuure.....but yeah, it's only going to people we know like family and some crazy friends, we know they won't do stuff with it they shouldn't. I dunno if I'll even put a small bit on youtube, had thought about it since Joe or Mick didn't seem to mind, but then again, mebbe not :)

Ty Castle, and yes, dream come true doesn't even express it :)

Ty Slansh...and I hafta say yer lil JL is a complete LOOKER!!! OMG he's gorgeous, those eyes especially! Loved the haircut shot, so freakin cute! Thanks for sharing and give him a big hug and kiss from this American mamma T...OY those cheeks!! :)

K, I need some warm clothes, some heat turned on and something hot to drink...did I mention HEAT?? FFS I'm cold!! Be back in a bit to upload some pics :)
