Dear Joe, I have one question and hope for your friendly request. Im developer at small botique amp company in Germany. We build small series from tube amps. Im play guitar (actually, Im trying:-))since 1985 and one of first fascinating things was your Surfin album. Your art was a greatest influence for me together with mr Vai and mr Petrucci. Thx a lot! My question are: may I use some self- covered songs for demonstrating our amps? Demonstration only. Ive recorded at my home studio (Logic8&ProTools) Surfin and Sommer Song with my amps and (ok, you are the best and Ill never play just similar) but it sound good. Thanks a lot for all your art and music. Stay rocked! Sebastian

Do the Stu...I watched that movie you recommended 'Almost Famous' and I let my two boys see it too even though it was rated 15 and my two boys are (nearly) 11 and 12. Anyway, as you said, there wasnt' too much in the way of bad behaviour although they totally didn't 'get' the deflowering scene.....

Thanks for recommending it, it was a great movie, the music was great I wish 'Stillwater' had gone on. I asked my boys who they would most like to be out of the film thinking they would want to be the 15 year old rock journalist who get's to follow the band around, but no, the answer was....Russell (the guitar player) typical what monsters have I raised!

Which character would you most like to be?

TuesdaysChild - I love the scene on the bus when they all sing "Tiny Dancer". I have the soundtrack to Almost Famous and its great for background music when people come over for a meal.

Do your kids like School of Rock? I must have watched that 10 times with my kids and I still laugh at it.

Have spent the evening showing my kids old episodes of Roseanne (the Halloween ones) on youtube - geez she was funny.

I know some people are tired of discussing politics. But this is after all a "free-for-all stream of consciousness". Nobody is forcing anyone to read every post. And besides, it's only every four years...lol. And I totally agree that talking about Joe & the Band is way more interesting..

Oil Change instructions for Women:

1) Pull up to Lube Shop when the mileage reaches 3000 miles since the last oil change.

2) Drink a cup of coffee.

3) 15 minutes later, write a check and leave with a properly maintained vehicle.

Money spent:

Oil Change: $20.00

Coffee: $1.00

Total: $21.00

Oil Change instructions for Men :

1) Wait until Saturday, drive to auto parts store and buy a case of oil, filter, kitty litter, hand cleaner and a scented tree, write a check for $50.00.

2) Stop by 7/11 and buy a case of beer, write a check for $20, drive home.

3) Open a beer and drink it.

4) Jack car up. Spend 30 minutes looking for jack stands.

5) Find jack stands under kid's pedal car.

6) In frustration, open another beer and drink it.

7) Place drain pan under engine.

8) Look for 9/16 box end wrench.

9) Give up and use crescent wrench.

10) Unscrew drain plug.

12) Crawl out from under car to wipe hot oil off of face and arms. Throw kitty litter on spilled oil.

15) Give up; crawl under car and hammer a screwdriver through oil filter and twist off.

16) Crawl out from under car with dripping oil filter splashing oil everywhere from holes. Cleverly hide old oil filter among trash in trash can to avoid environmental penalties. Drink a beer.

19) Remember drain plug from step 11.

Great show in Jax JOE ! Awesome as usual ! I was under the balcony in Q section and it sounded fan-tastic. Maybe you heard my ear-shattering whistling. Was that one of the Blue Donnies you played ? I was hoping you would use one of them, I haven't seen you play one here before. Love it's sound. It's always hard to rock sitting down , so don't think we weren't into it ! Of course we had to stand up with some coaching. Rock on brother !

Does anyone here want to talk about Joe Satriani? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7-yBnBB4H8 - is this Joe Satriani playing guitar? Any one?

Joe Satriani and Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony and Chad Smith?

Chickenfoot?

HSAS II ? Hagar, Satch, Anthony & Smith has the same number of syllables, and the same annunciations as Hagar, Schon, Aaronson & Shrieve.

'Spooky Halloween Cryptic analogy.

If you receive an email entitled:

'Bedtimes'

'Delete it IMMEDIATELY'

Do not open it.

Apparently this one is pretty nasty. It will not only erase everything on your hard drive, but it will also delete anything on disks within 20 feet of your computer.

It demagnetizes the stripes on ALL of your credit cards. It reprograms your ATM access code, screws up the tracking on your VCR, and uses subspace field harmonics to scratch any CD's you attempt to play. It will program your phone auto dial to call only 0898 numbers.

This virus will mix antifreeze into your fish tank.

IT WILL CAUSE YOUR TOILET TO FLUSH WHILE YOU ARE SHOWERING. It will drink ALL your beer. FOR GOD'S SAKE, ARE YOU LISTENING? ?

It will leave dirty underwear on the coffee table when you are expecting company.

It will replace your shampoo with Nair and your Nair with Rogaine. If the 'Bedtimes' message opened in a Windows 95/98 environment, it will leave the toilet seat up and leave your hair dryer plugged in dangerously close to a full bathtub.

It will not only remove the forbidden tags from your mattresses and pillows, it will also refill your skim milk with whole milk.

***WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN. ***

And if you don't send this to 5000 people in 20 seconds, you'll fart so hard that your right leg will spasm and shoot straight out in front of you, sending sparks that will ignite the person nearest you.

Send this warning to everyone!

THERE'S A LOT OF SADNESS IN THE WORLD!
Right now, as you read this, 17 Million people are having SEX!!!

And look at you - you're on the computer
