Geez...I just had someone from Malaysia bid on my Whammy Pedal. It'll probably cost them more to have it shipped than what the pedal will sell for.

Cappy...I have a few songs recorded but I'm too critical of my music to share it with anyone...lol.

Hey whatever happened to Steve Trott?

js1200js1000.....That is crazy..lol. I was remembering that I really enjoyed some of his original music. All it needed was some slick lead guitar to go over it. I'm going to see if he still has his website...

I have a MySpaceMusic site now. Maybe I'll get around to putting my own tunes on there. Anyone with a MySpace acct. is welcome to be on my friends list. Right now I only have 4 friends, but they're all famous or semi-famous...lol.

Hey everyone,

I got a little time to write to you all, before I head on in to work.

SuperDaveMcCarthy: It came today in the mail. Thank you so much. I am so excited. How are you and the family doing? That is cool that you did work at a Marriott. I enjoy doing banquets, especially for over 500+ people. Gotta love hospitality man. Speaking of that, our grand opening is coming up sometime next week and I can't wait. Hope things are working out for you.

death cube k: The weather is starting to get cold here. The temperatures throughout the week is below 50 degrees. Speaking about those job cutbacks, it does not bother me at all. I am about ready to say adios to the Hilton because it has been going downhill there. I am just glad that I got out of there (full-time and the works) before this all happened. Just a couple more weeks and I will have my benefits back and I can FINALLY roll over that 401K.

js1200js1000: Hey man, how is your mom doing? I visited my mom earlier today and she is doing well. We had lunch together. I was surprised that you had your first roll over in my home state. When did all that happened? Thanks for the info about the JS on E-Bay. I gotta check that out and see how much it is going for now.

Do the Stu: How are all your travels going? Work is going well for me. Drive safely man. The weather here is getting colder. I bet the weather out there is a lot warmer. Hope you are enjoying that sun. Keep in touch man.

Satriella: I'm enjoying those remarks and quotes. I really like the one about the jar of jalapenos. Hope you have more.

michelle: Again, Happy Anniversary to you and Dave. Hope you two do something wonderful together.

Well, I gotta go. Another day in paradise at the Holiday Inn. By the way, we have our grand opening (to the people) sometime next week (thinking it is the 13th or the 14th). The good news is that I have the next two days off. On Sunday, I have a 5K Run (Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis). Wish me luck guys and I'll let you how I did soon. I can also get more of my Christmas shopping done (YES!!!) Keep in touch guys. See you all later.

DoTheStu , your welcome , I took a couple pics that I really like. My expectations were high for the Hendrix show , probably too high. It was cool how different artists interperate Jimi's songs. Some were really good and some were not. The gal that sang Little Wing really did it bad. I was thinking ..Steve Vai was way better! I was also bummed because Eric Johnson was not here and the promo said his name when I bought the tickets, hmm. Highlight for me was Kenny Wayne Shepherd. His set was very cool and the guy singing for him Noah ? did an excellent job . Best vocalist I thought. It was cool to see the old blues dudes Buddy and Hubert , and I have liked Robby Krieger fer decades. Wow , that statement makes me feel old.....Brad Whitford was very good also. Have not seen him lead like that B-4. After KWS they cranked the volume for Buddy Guy so I ended up holding my ears closed for the rest of the show ,no ear plugs on board. A great way to spend a friday night!!! But not as great as next friday in RENO!!! WOOHOOOO!

SuperDave,

Those were pathetic bids. I've remedied that. I'll (damn sure gonna) make sure to check back in on your pedal. In the end, somebody is gonna get it. Might as well be me, I think.

I remember the time when I had to sell my RG 550. I let that get to me and fell out of love with music and noodling around on guitar.

I hope it doesn't get that far for you.

Best wishes.

Hey Satch, I went to your concert in Austin Wed nov 5th and it was owesome. Hard work and dedication does pay off big time!

I started playing acustic since I was 12 years of age but only started playing electric about 3 years ago. I also learned via ear and not by note. I am 38. I am studying Chords scales and modes. My hand speed and agility is better. I know speed is not the key but clarity and precision. So that is what I am working on right now. Do you have any tips of what I can do to better my Playing?

I am willing to pay money to use your website for learning. My goal of course is to play like you or better. Hey I have to shoot for the stars and maybe I will get to the moon if you know what I mean!!!!!

later... J.K.Aanonsen

SometimesTheyDon't...I appreciate you bidding..and I hope you win too. And I'm hoping to get an actual picture of the pedal on there so people can see what they are getting. It's pretty much self-explanatory though, the pedal has seen some time in the clubs. But it works like brand new.

GlitzMan...thanks for the positive feedback ! It's too bad PayPal has'nt released the money to me yet. What a pain in the ass they are. They said it would be released as soon as you left feedback, but it says it's still "pending". Like I said earlier..we put men on the moon 40 years ago in less time than it's taking to finish this transaction.

death cube & Austin....thanks for joining my friends list. You guys rock ! SuperDave

Howdy everybody...the other night at the bar my band played Starry Night and after we finished the set a couple of other musicians came up and asked us what that beautiful song was and by whom...we told them and they were taken aback...they always thought Joe and the other virtuoso rockers were shred-monsters but after hearing that song they requested that we open our last set with it !!!!...you see Joe...you create fans just by audible curiosities at band-night jams.....thx for writing Starry Night..it gives us great pleasure to play it live.... and many of us appreciate it...Don.

WOW Satchland

What an amazing night here in ABQ! Probably the most epic night of rock in history! The combination of Joe and Leslie and their amazing "3 hour tour blues" for the encore part of the show just blew our minds!!! STU had an AMAZING bass solo that proves time after time for him to be the best bass player ever!! Im sorta lost for words... I could have sworn the Universe was going to implode. Playing from the new like "I just wanna rock" to a blast in the past of the always amazing SWA... All i can say is WOW... I hope a live DVD comes out with this tour..

Glitz Man - It's sunny during the days here, of course, but it's actually starting to feel cooler in the evenings. I like it. California weather is awesome, but I miss the changing seasons every now and then...

Mahavishnu - Oh man, it's a bummer EJ wasn't at your show...I'd say he was the highlight of the LA gig. The lineups are a bit different from show to show, but I think he was supposed to be on the whole tour so I wonder why he wasn't there.

What woman sang Little Wing? That song wasn't done in LA.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd is excellent, and his set was one of the best, but it didn't stand out to me at this show because it wasn't too different from what he normally does on his own tours (I saw him with Double Trouble a few years ago and he played a few Hendrix covers). His singer is excellent though, you're right about that.

Was Jonny Lang at the Seattle show? What'd you think of him? I'm a HUGE fan...

gotta have Joe - It's good to hear from you again...keep us posted on how you're doing, and let us know if we can help at all.
Searching22 - Satch's show in Paris earlier this year was recorded for a DVD release...it'll probably be out before Christmas.

Right, I'm wondering whether to get a Satchurator or the new Robin Trower overdrive pedal. Toughy this one, I already get a kinda Satch-ish tone, but the Satchurator sounds soooo good. On t'other hand, Trower has one of the fattest tones in the business. But, big but here, there's £100 difference between the two....
