Actually, theres a couple of things I am trying to get and willl probably have next year. I'll post info when they arrive and then we'll do a re-count of the fan stakes.
I'll take $50 on me to win or place at 2-1 odds.

Oh Golden Girl - I am catching up too, shame we're not in the same country as I haven't come across any 40's female Satch fans here in Oz let alone one who can play guitar.
(update - have bought "Dummies Guide to Guitar" to read over Christmas in the mountains, and I now know why and how far apart the frets are spaced, still looking for a guitar to borrow, and hoping my bro-in-law the flamenco guitarist can give me some lessons in January down the beach)
roo - is your wife a Satch fan too? Maybe we can all meet up for the next tour.
fatape - how about you and your wife - she a fan?

Golden Girl. Next time you get a chance to see Joe - just do it. I have only seen him once after years of telling my husband it was not my kind of music. Seeing him in person changed all that. He is an amazing beacon of light to behold.

Top ten dog peeves about humans!
1. Blaming your farts on me... not funny... not funny at all!
2. Yelling at me for barking... I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG!
3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly who's walk is this anyway?
4. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose... stop it!
5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.
6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo - what a proud moment for the top of the food chain.
7. Taking me to the vet for the "big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back!
8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.
9. Dog sweaters. Hello? Haven't you noticed the fur?
10. How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth, you're just jealous.

Fresh from my shower, I stand in front of the mirror, complaining to my husband that my breasts are too small.
Instead of characteristically telling me it's not so, he uncharacteristically comes up with a suggestion: "If you want your breasts to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between your breasts for a few seconds."
Willing to try anything, I fetch a piece of toilet paper and I stand in front of the mirror, rubbing it between my breasts. "How long will this take?" I ask.
"They will grow larger over a period of years," he replies.
I stop. "Do you really think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between my breasts every day will make my breasts larger over the years?
Without missing a beat he says, "Worked for your bottom, didn't it?"
He's still alive, and with a great deal of physical therapy, he may even walk again. Stupid, stupid man.

Good morning Satchland..
GlitzMan....still looking for work but getting by (barely).
Yes, I managed to sell my Fulltone Ultimate Octave and use the proceeds to get a Vox JS-DS. I'm still tweaking it and trying to squeeze the right sounds out. When my other bandmates start the whole "volume war" onstage, I intend to make them shut the hell up. I'm getting tired of it. We're playing in a bar..not the fucking Fillmore.

I'm thankful that rain finally reached California last night. Hopefully, we won't run out of water before the state runs out of money!!! Governor Arnold S may have to borrow from the world bank (never mind the federal reserve) on very strict terms. It's tough with droughts on 2 fronts!!

What are Chrome Dome picks? If they are actually dipped in chrome then I would expect a very bright pick attack. It would be like using a quarter for a pick. Seems to me that the metal on metal action going on there would put the hurt on your strings eventually. Maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. 8P
