Good Morning Satchland.....Orton goes down. Grossman steps up. Bears sole pocession of first place. Whew !!!! We need Kyle back as the Bears dodged a huge bullet.

Band update. As promised some of our demo covers are uploaded. On the player I'm playing on only the covers and I sing Tightrope. The originals is the guitarist I replaced. On "I Know A Little" I think I'm close to the Gaines feel. I played around the slide solo, got the guitar break and copped Billy Powell's piano solo all in one shot. This one is for you Slans. Jailbreak came out good and I like Tightrope a lot. Let me know what you think. The songs were cut "Live" in my studio and it came out pretty good and we're all pretty happy with them.

Also, we got got picked up by Loggins Promotion out of LA. Our CD "Get Back In The Pocket" is climbing up the charts. Go here to vote for Max Cady Band in the ac/Hot/ac category under New Group. Thanks......

Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!

Edit: Here's the link for the Covers Sorry about that......

Bloody feckin' hell! America should be outraged! According to these tactics, only the elite whitey with no beefs with the law should be allowed to vote. If this doesn't boil yer blood - even if it's yer own party - something is seriously wrong. Lowlife scum campaign managers. I hope they all piss in bed for eternity.

JS Phil: Good vids as ever, no I'm not subscribed it was the Bud advert one I was referring to. Well, what did you think of the GP? THE most tense 5 laps I have ever witnessed. Felt a bit sorry for Massa though, he drove well. But Lewis drove better! Now for the Stewards Inquiry about him being too slow to put his steering wheel back on...;-) I was at the World Cup thing in Manchester yesterday, GB won 15 out of the 18 events. Not bad, but we had to listen to the national anthem soooo many times...=D there are some pics on flickr.

Just like to say Well Done Lewis Hamilton. You showed those Ferraris what for!

I saw Experience Hendrix last night...Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang, Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall and a bunch of other guitarists playing Hendrix stuff all night. Very awesome...

tikimon - Thanks for the mini review...it's good to hear you enjoyed the show. And thanks for sharing those photos...that wig is great!
cheese101 - I ate at this medeterranean place in San Francisco in 2004 on my Satch trip that was called "Sartani's" or "Santoni's" or something like that...I thought it was funny because it was so close to Satch's last name. I don't remember where it was, though, so I'm not any help...sorry.
GuitarCrazyManiac - Hi...welcome to the site! Tell us a bit about yourself...
BigBunny - It's nice to see you here again... :-)
ZuperDaveMcCarthy - Your photo link didn't work, but you just edited your post so I guess you already know that.
Keniko - Thanks for the link...I'll listen as soon as I'm done with my current CD.
michelle - Those things are pretty lame, but I'd have to hope most people are smart enough not to fall for them anyway. The idea of a second election on Wednesday is probably the oldest trick in the book...haha.
draydron - Hi...welcome to the site. Maybe this link will help you:

Austin, the sad part is, there are so many first time voters for this election that they really don't know the deal. When something comes to your door with an official looking township seal, it's very confusing as to what's real and what bull. Even people who have been voting all their lives are wondering what's going on with all the misinformation filtering into their homes. The easy thing to say is "They should know better." The truth is, if you've never done something before, like drive a car, wouldn't it be helpful to have someone give you the proper instructions instead of saying the gas pedal was the brake, the brake was the gas, and to go right you turn the wheel counter-clockwise?

The Republicans should be ashamed of their party's tactics. It's simply pathetic. Sure there's dirty politics in every election, but this crap should be illegal.

Obama's Grandmother Dies One Day Before Election

Obama took an emotional 22-hour trip to Hawaii to visit her on October 23 and 24. Monday, November 3, 2008

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's grandmother died of cancer, he said in a statement on Monday, a little more than a week after Obama interrupted the White House race to say goodbye to her in Hawaii.

"It is with great sadness that we announce that our grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has died peacefully after a battle with cancer," Obama said in a joint statement with his sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng. "She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility."

Dunham helped raise Obama from the age of 10 while his mother was working in Indonesia, and Obama took an emotional 22-hour trip to Hawaii to visit her on October 23 and 24.

Just recovering from the Satch show at HOB in O-Town. What a great show! Loved the band background! Awesome bass solo and great drums as well. Only one bad incident. Some loser from upstairs launched a beer bottle on a guy in front of me. He was ok though. I hope security ripped that guy a new one....
