I'm playing catch-up on posts over the last week or so...T2J says I have 281 that are unread, but I know I replied to a bunch in the middle when I was away so this should be quick.

SuperDaveMcCarthy - It looks like you got a Satchurator a week ago...I assume you love it, yeah? Any sound clips you can share?

cosmic_ape - I just saw your old post too...it was cool to meet you at the LA gig as well. I drove by MI the other day as I was dropping Al off at his hostel...maybe you'll run into him later this week. ;-)

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to make it to the gig.

Croujdane - If you dig through my recent posts you'll see links to three MP3s of songs from a bootleg of Joe's Experience Hendrix gig. It's in one of my posts from 11/13, I believe.
campbell - Maybe we've already talked about this, but your family in Cerritos and Downey aren't too far from where I'm at in Long Beach... What a (relatively) small world.

When's your Opeth gig? I saw them on the Progressive Nation tour with Dream Theater earlier this year. I don't know if I'd ever go see them on their own, but they put on a great show. You'll have a good time.

Skippygirl - I don't know if you've looked at any more YouTube videos, but for San Diego and LA I was center stage, right up on the barricade.
OK, 181 posts to go...but I think I'll stop for now.

...Austin...

DoTheStu...I just got the pedal on tuesday. So far it's everything I expected and more. As far as sound clips go, I have no recording device except for a video camera. Maybe in the not too distant future if I can figure out how..

You did it again ! another "meet & greet" with Paul Gilbert. Your photo with him is very cool !
And yes, Craig was also a surprise for me. He was bouncing all over the left of the stage all the time, and having a great time. Did I say before that I loved Red House ?

The Vox Time Machine is a delay pedal :) I can't remember everything Joe said about it, but once I have the video on dvd, can let u know. One thing I do remember is telling Joe....with 3 pedals either out or in the works, he's about to break me!

LOL!

What time is it?? (and no UK'rs, it's NOT chico time!). It's feckin california time is what it is.... it's so funny this, on all my travels I've never had the body clock so screwed up... everyone here is laughing at me saying it's my own fault - well I don't care : ) I had fun!

Cheese - thanks for the photos, group shot is cool! I didn't think to get my camera out and take some more. Glad the lesson was as memorable as it should have been, and that you & Chris had so much Joe this trip. Being at work after a trip like that blows big style.. but there's always next time to look forward to - he he he, look out

Do The Stu - I forgot that I didn't get a chance to say bye to your pops and it was nice to meet him so if you could pass that on? Was cool chatting about Marino & AF with him. More posts & emails & stuff to come but before I forget, X-Files movie really cool (and you were spot on about removing 5 minutes and there being no association). Too bloody insightful by far!

Michelle - I've lost the post you made to me, but I'll check back and post properly. It did mention something about those "mountains" in reno being flat. Are they really that small compared to where you are? Holy sh...

I'll check back and post properly soon, but I have to try and force myself to sleep... as it's been 2 hours a night roughly since Nov 15th LMAO

Phil, where I grew up, I had to walk up half a mountain every day to go to school. lol! Here is a pretty cool link I found from the top of the mountain looking down. On the shot that says you can see my old high school, I lived at the bottom of the hill to the left kinda between that bigger red bldg and the white one where it looks like the railroad tracks and grass run through in the lower middle of the shot. PA is full of mountains and hills. Check out the link at the bottom of the page for the Pagoda. We used to hike up the mountain when we were kids and hang out up there. You can go inside and go to the top and look out at the city. It's so old and beautiful. In recent years, there have been arsonist fires on the mountain, so a year or two ago they started to tear down all the trees around the Pagoda just in case. I'm not sure if they're gonna build a park there or what. I hope so, because the last time we were there a few months back, it looked hideous. They also have scaffolding up on it now for it's 100th anni. restoration.

Warning, longish post, catching up back to peeps....

Millie....I think I'd need Xanax to drive anywhere in San Fran, geez!! Even the "easy drive" is hard, lol!! That's why, when I finally made it to the parking garage, I parked my car and abandoned it fer the rest of the trip...only got it outta there when I had to to come home! Joe may have "buns of steel" from his workouts, but he's also gotta have "nerves of steel" to be comfortable driving there, LOL!! Hope u feel better soon.

Glitz Man...ty....anytime seeing Joe is the BEST time, beginning to end. But for this trip...which btw was totally enhanced by running around with a pack of other T2J'ers, I'd hafta say our favorite part was my son's lesson with Joe :) I'll post some pics from that in a bit. Klamish Flats is located in southern Oregon, near the Cali border...so as I always say, we're Joe's neighbors, lol!!

Phil...we tried to get Mckenna locked up at Alcatraz but he's tricky and he escaped! Sorry to hear yer finally on California time, LMAO! Ahem, no, I'm not really laughing....but...just wait till next year I say!! Start saving yer pennies, yer a part of the group now and in it DEEP!! Great pics btw, thanks for sharing...more? Joanie has the shot of u, me and Chris, and it's lovely :) I'm sure she'll share when she gets a chance.

roo...P2P? Whazzat? lol....and ummmm yeah....a copy to u...suuuuuuuure.....but yeah, it's only going to people we know like family and some crazy friends, we know they won't do stuff with it they shouldn't. I dunno if I'll even put a small bit on youtube, had thought about it since Joe or Mick didn't seem to mind, but then again, mebbe not :)

Ty Castle, and yes, dream come true doesn't even express it :)

Ty Slansh...and I hafta say yer lil JL is a complete LOOKER!!! OMG he's gorgeous, those eyes especially! Loved the haircut shot, so freakin cute! Thanks for sharing and give him a big hug and kiss from this American mamma T...OY those cheeks!! :)

K, I need some warm clothes, some heat turned on and something hot to drink...did I mention HEAT?? FFS I'm cold!! Be back in a bit to upload some pics :)

Wolf2:- Stay on the meds you're on ,my man,but you might want to lay off the Maxwell House coffee or any other processed instant coffee. They are all chemically enhanced and can screw with strong medication big time.Hell, instant coffee is not really that good for anyone, let alone someone who has any type of chemical imbalance in the brain. I know some people who have similar problems to you,and their doctor told them not to drink instant coffee, but coffee brewed from fresh ground coffee beans is actually better for you.So there you go my man.Hope that helps! In the mean time ,keep healthy and happy :-)

Great series of interviews with Joe, 11 in all, starting with this one - the best I have seen so far, very informative, from his first days up to PSATMOR. I really like number 9.

Also, Joe & Mick Jagger '88 at my regular pub - got to love the vest....

I'm playing catch-up again... A few people have asked for more show info from me, but I'll wait until I'm completely caught up before I get back into that...

What's this talk of Joe being a vegetarian? I think I missed a post somewhere, but I see a follow-up comment or two. I don't know if that's true, as I've never heard him mention it anywhere. Also, we've seen a lot of backstage footage on podcasts and webcasts but there's never been any comments about special food or any of that (we haven't seen him chowing down on a burger either, but you know what I mean)...

Joe Satrini - That flight info cartoon is pretty funny...I think the "Joe" is a bit of a stretch, but the other guy totally looks like Galen. ;-)

Also, thanks for an update on a potential acoustic Satch record. I'd love to hear one, but I'd be fine with it still being as far as 10 or 15 years away. I don't know what shape his hands/joints are in, but for the near future I'd like him to stick with his current crazy music. You can play complicated acoustic guitar music when you're 65 or 70, but you can't be playing the tapping sections from Satch Boogie or The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing every night when you're that age...you know?

And, lastly, thanks for posting that old photo of you and Joe. That's great...haha.

javadew - Thanks for the Phoenix review, and welcome to the site! You only have that one post so I guess you haven't been back...but if you're reading this now, post something. ;-)
LA_Metal - I saw Steve Lukather jam with Satch on AWMAWY at the Cliff Show back in 2006...it was very cool and yes, I think he'd be great on a future G3 tour.
Satriella - Thanks for sharing your Paul Gilbert pictures. :-) I've seen him four times, but have never been to a proper PG headlining show. I think that'd be a lot of fun...
michelle - This is random, but it's based on several days of posts...I had no idea 500 Miles had been covered by so many bands. Haha...
JS_JS - Maybe you've already posted about the show (I'm still behind on posts), but how was the second Iced Earth gig?
windrunner - Click here for Joe's setlist. This is from earlier in the tour but he played the same set every night (in that post, Crowd Chant is missing from the list and the final song is actually Going Down)...
Guitarman77897 - I'd need to re-watch the first podcast to be sure, but I think one of the first songs in the first podcast was Slick...it was recorded during the SBM sessions but didn't get released until Joe's Anthology. It's one of my favorite Satch songs...I'd love to hear it live.
hybes - When I was visiting my parents in Northern California after my run of Satch shows, I finally found a record store that had Candlebox's self-titled album in stock. I just finished listening to it...I like it a lot. Early favorites, aside from the two singles I already knew, are Don't You and Arrow. I think Rain is really cool and different for a band like this, and Cover Me is a great ballad.

Their rhythm section, especially on those last two songs I mentioned, reminds me of Aerosmith a bit. Very cool. I'll post more after I give it another listen or two...but in the meantime, what album would you recommend next?

Well, I have a page and a half to go...I should be caught up by my next post, but now I need to get some sleep.

...Austin...
