Geeze...michelle is just waking up and I haven't even gone to sleep yet!

I've spent the last hour or so checking out some more Chickenfoot interviews. I figured I'd post 'em here for everyone.

Here's a Classic Rock Revisited interview with Sammy Hagar. He talks about Chickenfoot, of course, but also gets into some Planet Us stuff and then other Sammy-related things:

http://www.classicrockrevisited.com/interviewssammyhagar08.htm

Also, the Music Radar site has also posted audio interviews with Michael Anthony and Chad Smith...as far as I know, neither of them have been shared on T2J. So...here they are:

Chad Smith
Michael Anthony

As I've said before, I don't know much about Chad Smith...but after listening to this interview I have to say he's really cool and I'm excited to hear what he'll be doing with the band.

And Michael Anthony's interview shows that he's one of the nicest guys out there...he answers a lot of Van Halen questions too, without trashing anyone.

And then of course both guys have plenty of nice things to say about Satch. :-)

And in case you haven't heard them, here are the other two Music Radar interviews:

Sammy Hagar
Joe Satriani

Enjoy!

...Austin...

I would be in the top 50 too...in fact I would have the number 1 spot....

of people who collapsed after a mile that is!

When a man volunteers to do the 'BBQ', the following chain of events are put into motion:

1) The woman goes to the store.

2) The woman fixes the salad, vegetables and dessert.

3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it in a tray along the necessary cooking utensils, and takes it to the man, who is lounging beside the grill, 3rd beer in hand.

4) The man places the meat on the grill.

5) The woman goes inside to set the table and check the vegetables.

6) The woman comes outside to tell the man that the meat is burning.

7) The man takes the meat off the grill and hands it to the woman.

8) The woman prepares the plates and brings them to the table.

9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

10) Everyone praises the man and thanks him for his cooking efforts.

11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off" and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there is just no pleasing some women...

This is the transcript of the ACTUAL radio conversation of a U.S. naval ship with the Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland. The Chief of Naval Operations on October 10th 1995 released the radio conversation. _________

Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.

Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the North.

Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.

Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.

Canadians: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course.

Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN. THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES ATLANTIC FLEET. THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS ACCOMPANY US. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH, I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTERMEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP.

Canadians: We are a lighthouse. Your call.

1) My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 now and we don't know where the heck she is.

2) I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to show up.

3) The only reason I would take up jogging is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.

4) I have to exercise in the morning before my brain figures what I'm doing.

5) I don't exercise at all. If God meant for us to touch our toes, he would have put them further up our body.

6) I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

7) I have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.

8) The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.

9) If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.

10) I don't jog. It makes the ice jump right out of my glass.

Wow, I think I'm getting wolf on the brain...

The worst type of inflight movie.

Another funny.

I just got a spam email from 'Miss Edina Coulibaly' from the Ivory Coast promising to share $9.5 million with me if I invest it properly. How thick do they think we are??? Wouldn't I look daft if it turned out to be genuine....

Mr. McKenna--Thank you for the great pictures. I'm afraid there is no cure for Blue_Moon feevah, but now I know what causes it. It's that handsome, youthful countenance of you and all your Irishness!! The best of Ireland is its compassionate people--Dr. Flaherty, the doctor who held my hand and spoke gently to me until I stopped crying (because I thought my husband was going to die from epilepsy), a saint of neurologists at El Camino Hospital (until he passed away a few years ago). He kept my husband seizure free for 8 months (a record) and told us that medications can only do so much for his patients with epilepsy.

js1200js1000--Turkey days??? What about Thanksgiving Day? I can eat turkey any day I want. As for being special...well......ITS OFFICIAL CANADA AND CANADIANS ARE SPECIAL!!! What has Stephen Harper done for you lately? More than the GWB in the US......

I must look forward and stay in the moment---Thank you Joe!

Hello Mr Sat ...

How do you view the ability of guitarists in todays popular bands ,, who have Signature's to their name , who haven't had the length of career like yourself other such known established Guitarists ...who have been on the scene longer than most , yet will possibly never have the length of career such as yourselfs ...

I have the following JS albums on CD--SURFING WITH THE ALIEN, CRYSTAL PLANET, ENGINES OF CREATION and PROFESSOR SATCHAFUNKILUS AND THE MUSTERION OF ROCK. I plan to buy THE EXTREMIST next and also IS THERE LOVE IN SPACE? How is NOT OF THIS EARTH? I was awol when it came to the music scene in the 1980s. I really didn't know what I was missing. How many times will I have to wake up to what is already available to me??? WHY AM I SO DULL, DOUBTING AND DEPRESSED?? I need to get a grip!! With gray skies, I want to hibernate--What a silly thing for a Californian to say when the Sun is always trying to burn through those clouds!! This is supposed to be the rainy season on the west coast. Come on, Mother Nature, we need rain!!! Canada send us your wet clouds, please...

Slanshroom--I crave your music and would like a CD.

What is it about Scotland that cultivates music? It must be the pipes--yes Scotland was one of the first countries in the world to use plumbing in their homes....oooops! Not that kinda pipes? Pipes can be musical, plumbing can be musical. So can vibrating walls like the one in the SC City Library. Our HVAC system in that building is one of the best in the world. Also shakes a certain wall in the children's section. The tap tap tap reminds me of the clapping in Joe's song ANDALUSIA!! Imagine that--an ANDALUSIA wall in the nonfiction section!! I love libraries!! Working in several since 1988 has been a trip and a half. I am sure if Joe decided to offer himself as a living book with other musicians from his band and maybe even Sammy Hagar, people would learn volumes and have great fun at the same time. That is, Joe, if you have time and would like to.

JOE: Hey JOE! You were mentioned on Channel 7 news here in the bay area! The report was about Jason Becker! They said that you had played some of his new stuff! Yea baby! Thanks for doing that. He's one of my faves too. He lives right here in Richmond, but I don't have his addy or any thing. I'd love to get a pic of him with the ole "artist" like you did. I checked the Ibanez site and they are releasing a "Black Dog" version of your signature Ibanez now! Awsome. That's the one you and ZZ did the art work? New stuff from you to keep us all busy this christmas. T2Jers remember the reason for the season. Randell & Steven
