cheese...awesome pictures. I gotta give your son credit. If it were me getting my playing technique analyzed I would have broken under the pressure...lol. Thanks for sharing those..

Austin....did I forget "Crowd Chant"? Honestly I don't recall if they played that or not. And I was'nt even on anything..geez. Maybe it was the "call and response" thing...dammit I can't remember. I was pretty diligent about writing things down that night.

Why, Mckenna was arrested fer being entirely too cute in the US of course!! lol!!

Yep, I think you could say Chris was a teeeeeeny bit nervous over his time with Joe....I don't know how many times he swallowed...gulped....in the first minute sitting down with him, lol....but Joe has a very calming effect, usually. It's just that this time wasn't just a meet and greet, stand and visit kinda thing, it was OMG I've got my guitar and he's got his and we're gonna play and he's gonna watch me and listen and OMG....yeah...like that, lol!!

U know....for some strange reason, I keep checking the road page, hoping to see more tour dates already....I might need medication......and I know Joe needs a serious break!!

Love the pic's Cheese
I thought meeting Joe twice and seeing two shows in three day was cool......WOW! I would gladly trade that for a lesson for my son. And to have it on video, how pumped are you? That just awesome.

[b]Do the Stu[\b] It was awesome. The sound in Studiou 7 was better than it was in Portland and the crowd was actually into it. No offense to any one from Portland but Portland crowds really suck for metal shows. Every metal show I've been to in Seattle has been great. I give it a 10 out of 10.

gosh my ears hurt though.

Got to do same as Anibur and have a lie down after watching Skippygirl link. I like it where joe explains why when he tells the family he's going to be a guitar player it's ok by his Dad but worries his Mum a bit.

Al update: I'm meeting him at his hostel at 2 p.m. We'll probably stop by the Guitar Center and then head down to Santa Monica / Venice Beach. Maybe we'll go up to Malibu, too...who knows. I wonder if Al will want to swim back up to Alcatraz.

Anyway, have decisions already been made about next year's crazy T2J meet-up? Pennsylvania? That sounds fun to me. I think this tour might be in larger venues, though, so...michelle, where do the bigger acts play when they come through town? Aerosmith, Van Halen, The Who, etc...

GoldenGirl2 - Hi there...are you still feeling a bit sick today, or are you doing better?
Kilegec - I think the promo code to get a free Satch Zone lesson is "Satch" or "Boogie" or "Satch Boogie" or something along those lines...
Joe Satrini - I'm glad you finally got to see the X-Files movie. It's being released on DVD out here in a few weeks...does the UK still have to wait a while for it, or is it coming out now too?

And great call on the Prisoner reference with the balloon photos...haha.

cheese101 - What's with that picture of you, Chris, Al and Joan in front of Crazy Horse? ;-) Just what were you doing while I was getting In-N-Out?
Skippygirl - Thanks for finding those Satch interviews...no time to watch now, but I'll get to 'em soon.
SuperDaveMcCarthy - Yeah, Crowd Chant should've been in there. Oh well...at least you got most of the rest of it right. ;-)
JS_JS - I'm glad you had a fun time at the gig. If you don't like Portland crowds, you should go to a show in LA. I'm sure they're much worse here...ugh.
Listening to: Rush - Power Windows (current song: Territories)

Do the Stu What i don't get is why people go to METAL shows if all they are gonna do is stand around and get pissed off when other people make a pit. I can understand just wanting to enjoy the music. Ok, stand in the BACK away from the people who are into it.

I miss Joe....lol!

Austin, I'm with chelle....it's time fer that smack on the ol' Irish lips, you've hung around with Mc long enough so it won't be awkward :) As to the Crazy Horse, yeah.....we tried selling Al to them but they weren't sure about his Irish accent ;) It's so much fun standing outside a strip club all day, really....although for some reason, this time I dint pay near as much attention to the people coming and going in there, as there were too many funny t2j peeps to talk to! Oh, and the other peoples walking by trying to get money or sell wierd stuff. At least security at the Warfield was good about keeping them movin' on.

Makes ya wonder what Joe thinks when he reads that we're already forming a posse for some ChickenPA gatherings back east....they haven't even finished the studio work yet, lol!

Have fun at the beach...I'm sure there will be a bikini or two to entertain you both fer at least a lil while.....

Oh, and thanks for the podcasts Joe, love em.....hope you keep them coming forever, lol!

Remember how a few days ago Michelle's happy was happy? I hope she's the same today...but...my tired is TARRED!! I'm still on Satchafunkilitis time!

hi, I'm Carlos and I'm setting up my ibanez for more comfort playing, I have a guitar tech question. In Joe's guitars how many mm are between the strings and the neck?? and regarding intonation does joe uses any +cents to give it a more definition or does he uses exact tuning in the twelve fret and comparing it to the harmonic??

Dearest Joe,

I'm only beginning to discover what a rich (in love), compassionate and caring human being you are--I am in awe and am learning why fans call you Saint Joseph. Your music scales the heights of heaven and gives me a divine ladder to climb out of the morass of human mockeries. What a great brother/friend you are--showing what human hands can do with a guitar! I am a student in awe and will be getting an acoustic guitar by year's end--a special therapist.

I was introduced to another Joe's music--Joe Elliot of Def Leppard, by my younger sister in the 1980s. More great rock n roll and showmanship! I like the song, "Photograph".

To all you Satchland peeps,

Have any of you seen the French movie, "Amelie"? I saw it last night and loved it! It was a great story AND showed how stupid and selfish suicide is. It has humor and humanity in it that is often lacking in American films. The thread of philanthropic adventure and the eventual bonding of the lovers at the end made it worth every minute.

I'm feeling better and will be going to work tomorrow.

Maritime--Thank you for the Satchurator pedal demonstration and the Guitar World Features. Joe's writing about where he has been and where he is now musically is so interesting. Also, Amsterdam is expecting snow soon--maybe it will be time to put on ice skates? I used to ice skate a lot growing up when a rink was nearby.

Michelle and Tracie--Thanks for all your posts!

Catch up with ya'all later.

;-D Thoroughly Golden Milli
