Al--You're right Hershey chocolate is not real chocolate like the European chocolate! Hershey is watered down chocolate for people who like weak coffee and weak chocolate---Yikes!! Dare I say many Americans?!!

If it isn't dark, bittersweet, european, viennese, belgian, or dutch it isn't REAL CHOCOLATE!!

I am a chocolate and coffee fancier--GIMME THE GOOD STUFF!!

SupaaDupaaDave, at least you didn't think it was where vampires come from. lol! How they got Pennsylvania out of William Penn, I'll never know? It doesn't help that I come from a city called Reading, which is always mispronounced like you're "Reading" a book. Why didn't they just spell it Redding if they were going to pronounce it that way? Today it's sunny and in the low 40's. Pretty nice actually. Tomorrow is gonna be crap, and by the weekend a cold front will be here to make it wicked cold...but not Minnesota cold. We don't like that here, which is why we don't live in Minnesota. lol! Hope you enjoyed yer samish. lol!

Glitz Man, I'm good, but my hubby has the flu. We live about an hour away from Hershey. That's where we've been going for my pop's cancer treatments. That's where the Penn State Hershey Medical Center is. They have a great children's hospital, and a great cancer center there. As for the chocolate, until about 10-15 years ago, Hershey's chocolate was okay. I don't know what they changed in it, but it's just not as good as it once was. I like Dove chocolate. Lindt's is good too.

Railton, congrats on yer gig. I was just saying to my husband the other night that Phil Collins is underrated. This is still my fav PC tune. The drums are sooo kick ass, as well as the vibe of the song.

Jayzus!! We just heard sirens & saw flashing lights coming down OUR street. I heard them a few minutes ago, but couldn't tell where they were in the neighborhood. Just as I went to open the door, I remembered...IT'S SANTA DOING A DRIVE-BY! lmao!! The fire company puts Santa on top of a fire truck and does a blow-by thru the town every year. Funny as hell. I love it! First a smaller truck comes by blaring a siren so people look, then the fire truck comes about 30 seconds later. I knew I had to be quick! My son was down in the basement playing x-box, and I yelled for him reeeeally loud. I didn't think he could make it upstairs that fast. I guess sirens and yer mams yellin' will make a kid go! lmao! He's feckin' 17 and I'm still excited (way to excited) for him to see Santa. lmmfao! He was right behind me at the door when the truck came by. LOL!

That made my night.

Shhhh....I know we don't talk about the Grammys around here very much and with GOOD REASON!!! BUT.....

They do have a part of the Grammys called Music Cares....and they do auctions on ebay as part of their fund-raising activities.

An auction through them is how we managed the private lesson with Joe :) He donated his time to support the charity.

No Joe-lessons this time around, but lots of other good stuff for those who like music memorabilia, or possibly some interesting "experiences" like spending an evening with Donny and Marie, or with John Stamos....lol....they even have VIP experiences for upcoming concerts, signed guitars, autographs, etc.....you could even go to the Grammy awards and be a "seat filler" :) You could be just like Kramer in the Seinfeld episode where he was a seat-filler for the Tony Awards , LOL.....

If interested, check out the auction listing here....

I thought I'd try to keep my eyes out for another Joe-experience, in case it ever happens again. It's worth more than gold, believe me, and I'd love to see another devoted fan have this opportunity as we did :)

Hey Gltizy-boy, thanks for asking, I did recover from that ride the next day and my mid-week early morning runs are getting a little easier. Someone at work who runs alot advised me to chew gum whilst running as it will force my breathing into the 'correct" rhythm - not sure how but I'll give it a go tomorrow morning - anything to stop heaving and puffing whilst my mates are chatting!

I have worked out so far that 2 laps of the oval equates to 1 "If I Could Fly" at the moment so I am now trying to finish before the song finishes! After that we do interval sprints etc so I put on Satch Boogie and Ice 9.

Do you think teh gum would work?

LOL...hmmm...you could have Joe hanging on yer Christmas tree this year, if you win THIS

Glitzman, we're okay here, thanks for asking....I always miss my son when I have to take him back to his home, but at least my ears get a lil rest, lol....chatters like a magpie, that boy does! As to yer cheese sammish, how about an open-faced sammish, just one side? lol!

Poor wavey chelle, I hope he starts feeling better very soon...dint Santa make him happy too? :) And yer never too old to believe in Santa....I did, until last year. So that's 48 years of believing fer me, lol. It's actually good to know that A would come running THAT fast in case of emergency, u prolly skerred the pee outta him, LOL!! Ahhhh, the holidaze.....

Maddy, you're not blind or anything, there IS no tour schedule right now. Joe just finished an extended world tour so it's time fer a lil break :) But if you keep an eye on this website, and watch the road page, some day there will be a new tour announced...the next one will prolly be with Chickenfoot!!

LOL Skippygirl....but ummmmmm....they might make medication to help u with that honey :) U have RM fevah I'm thinkin!!

Oh, and ps, tonight they announce the Grammy nominations....keeping my fingers crossed, as always, for Joe....and for the Grammy eegits to finally show some sense!!! But until then, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is on...think I'll go watch that and try not to cry.

Click here for the complete list of Grammy nominations.

Joe wasn't nominated, which bugs me because PSATMOR is one of my favorite albums of his. I guess we can look at Revelation as the second "single" from the album, which would have been cool to nominate...and it's one of my favorite Satch singles so it would've been nice.

Here are the instrumental rock nominees:

Castellorizon - David Gilmour
Suicide & Redemption - Metallica
34 Ghosts I-IV - Nine Inch Nails
Hope - Rush
Peaches En Regalia - Zappa Plays Zappa

...Austin...

Out of all of Satch's grammy nominations if you guys had to pick ONE that you wish he would have won which would you pick?

Personally I don't really care. If Joe wants to win a grammy I would be happy for him. But his music is my favorite no matter what others think or say or what he wins or doesn't win. And I don't think those kind of awards decide who has chops or song writing talent anyway. So it wouldn't mean anything to me if Satch won. Does that makes sense? What do you guys think?

I reckon Joe needs to get some publicity in the movie industry and write a soundtrack (or at least the title theme) for a major movie. Then the tossbuckets doing the Grammies might stop stuffing around and seriously involve Joe in the process, he'd also be "Main stream" enough to get the votes.

I know Joe mentioned he would like to do sound tracks for movies, I think he has an amazing knack for being a composer and could be the next big composer for movie themes. He just needs to shake the rock legend stigma.

How about it Joe? You're not far from Hollywood. Write a few cool title themes for movies, action, comedy, drama, horror, etc. Start sending a demo cd to the studios, Go start hassling them. Or get your management to do it.

Don't forget to send me a signed copy of the cd, and invite me as a personal guest to each premier. :)

One of whishes that I have is that you'll come in Iran one day and play a concert...

GlitzMan: never ran with the bulls & have no intention lol 600kg versus 65kg eh....nooo.The peeps that do tho & get hurt or worse are usually out of it drunk nutcase,s n no I,m Scottish I immigrated t Barcelona nearly 7 years ago after a lifetime of rain dark clouds sleet drizzle n snow, time out for this ol boy.Strange moving to another countrytho learning the language or in the case of Barcelona 2 languages Spanish & “Catalan her mother tongue” the customs etc I feel out of place at times but as much as I miss my people & the beauty of Scotland I could never go back now t those dull rainy days that make up over 3/4 of the year

Fatape/Igneousiceman:The open tuning style of Andy Mckee is really nothing new in Celtic music circles “not t distract from these great players y understand” many both known & unknown have flown from that nest.I personally had the opertunity t meet & jam with some of these brilliant musicians while on tour, a great deal of which curiously still havnt made youtube or the net in any way shape or form. Here is a link t probably one of the finest celtic acoustic players ever Tony Mcmanus the mans control is exceptional, rarely makes a mistake in concert, live TV, studio or radio. What makes that quite incredible is the complexity of something wrapped up in something simple have a listen & y,ll see what I mean...pity the vid gets cut of at the end:(

On grammys.....I think when Chickfoot get out there that will all change, people like t have a singer in a band no matter how much i hate t hear that I know its true, people want words sang they can relate 2 at work etc they can never get enough

I don't know about you guys, but I think we are on the verge of history being made here. I don't want to get my hopes up, or build it up too big. But the chemistry just sounds right. And the groundwork Joe has put into music to date.

It just feels like the calm before the storm, I have a feeling that in about 10 years time we will be amazed that we knew Joe in the years before Chickenfoot.

I really do believe the time is right, just like the satchurator, it's about time and it's the right time. Bring on more pedals. Bring on Chickenfoot.

The world is about to change. The masses are about to hear what we've known for a long time.
