Hello beery, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly sinking Left its seeds while I was drinking And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the bounds of swerving.

I'm restless and I'm taliking to myself As I grab another beer from off the shelf 'Neath the halo of the kitchen light My jaw is slack, my eyes are bright When my legs turned to jelly, and I feared i'd fall To the floor I sat and listened to the sound of silence

Being from the Southern Hemisphere, which logically means I am from the future, I wish a happy Christmas to those who follow the Joe; seems to be a nice day thus far.

And an especially happy future-christmas to you personally, Joe, may you revel in christmas joy and bring envy to your comrades with your multitude of presents.

Right, I'm off to work to serve rich people food for 12 hours.

Once again, happy christmas, lads 'n' lasses!

Happy Christmas everyone!

(Phil I think someone thinks you're Joe)

I've been chosen to be one of two sopranos in a 6 person ensemble, singing 'Three Kings' by Peter Cornelius. It's a great honour to be asked. Unfortunately it's on the very edge of my range and so the higher notes sound like a strangled scream! I performed in a week ago, but I've been asked to perform again tonight...Christmas Eve. I'm delighted because we got so much praise the last time and my children didn't see it, but they will tonight at midnight!

For anyone interested...here's the link to someone doing it better.

So wish me luck!

Actually, I call it Derry (which means oak wood)...know a thing or two about irish place names through my work. It must be a northern thing about boxing day, don't know it as St Stevens day at all!

C'mon Blue Moon don't pull the bigotry thing on me...I don't do it!
