McKenna--My bad. U2 NOT your cup o tea--I get it. Yesh, you are right about Van Morrison being from N Eire. He is a legend in my mind--goes way back to the "Gloria" days. To my ear he sounded a bit like Mick Jager. I sure have unique eardrums! What is your opinion of DEF LEPPARD? Go ahead and rip me if you don't like them.

Tracie--How ya be? How was it for you growing up female? It was kinda strange at times for me. Some people encouraged me to express my masculine side; others wanted me to be super girlie, girlie. God help the guys who explored their feminine side---OH NO--THAT WAS FORBIDDEN! THEY WOULD BE CALLED PUSSIES, WUSSES, OR WORSE!! I got worried when my older sister went through puberty--it was traumatic for her. She was sooo embarrassed when a guy in Junior High School had a crush on her!! Then I went through puberty and it was time to run, hide and isolate!! Yikes!! My parents were in deniel about their "baby girl". It's a wonder I'm still alive!!

Michelle--How was growing up female for you?

Sure hope asthma is not an ongoing issue for the little guy, I understand Barc can have it's share of wikkid smog days coz of the hills around the place making a bowl. Good luck on that.

Bob and Tom radio show again this morning devoted quite a bit of time to Joe's case, brought in some musical expert to analyze things....110% in Joe's corner on this and said his case was solid.

I missed it but a co-worker (WHO could work with me that DOESN'T know about Joe by now, LOL) told me about it, will try to catch the tv broadcast tonight to see if it's on there....

Joe Satriani good onya for standing up for your music >=:o) you're all heart, that's why we love your guitar playing so much.

'If I Could Fly' is worth fighting for, probably the best song on ITLIS along with 'Searching'. honestly i don't think there's any song by you that isn't worth fighting for....oh wait 'Woodstock Jam' ;) maybe not that one.

Love You Joe!

It's pretty one sided opinion ther Mr. Scott pretty sad...but oh well

If anyone wants a good laugh... here check This, the vid there is funny - its just to the right under the songs... its clearly Joe's your my world backing being played... then some random noodle over it with some vai and satriani licks now and again... the other songs on the page are a bunch of vai and joe licks mashed together badly over the same vai ro satriani backings... its fun to listen to though... :)

go easy on him Joseph

SF Bay Area--It was down to 38F this morning. Cold weather for us, but blue sky.

Yeah, growin up female was weird at times. In order to cope I ran the track every morning in Jr. High & High School. That way guys weren't flirting with me or following me around or trying to pick me up. Guys liked to stare at my growing boobs (or accidently(?) bump into them--Yikes)!! Yep, it was time to hide in the library. AND THEN Dave sat two tables away from me and flirted at me, trying to gain eye contact--I tried not to notice. It was damn near impossible! Raging hormones almost did me in!! AND THEN THERE WAS CARL WHEN I WAS 14 AND VULNERABLE--TOO MUCH TEMPTATION!!

Come on Michelle and Tracie, help me out here!! Growing up female was challenging, scary, funny, weird, exhilarating and at times insane!! I don't ever want to go there again, except to help the girls like my niece get through it!

Just wanted to post my support for Joe in this whole Coldplay thing.

I saw the youtube video months ago, and I'm glad that Joe is standing up to these guys.

Coldplay just pissed off every self respecting guitar player on the planet.
