Listening to the Bob and Tom radio show on the way into work today, they discussed the lawsuit....and were blown away by the similarities in the two songs.....said they've heard other claims of plagiarism of songs before that they felt came close, but NOT as close as this appears to be. Big supporters of Joe.

and another thing (lol).....

i often read comments in mags, etc about joe's music being for guitar elite-tists only.

well thats bollocks frankly. i can play a C chord and a nirvana song and that its. thats like saying a good phtotogper or artsts work is for elitist artists, etc. utter crap.

i love joe's music simply because its bloody good, its got soul and emmotion and there no political crap , it appeals to the human emmotions, happy, sad, joyful or just the need to kick arse-without the need to validate itself.

joe for all his talent never lets the technicalties get in the way of a bloody good melody or song-which is a skill in itself.

also theres somthing satisfying at listening to a maestro in his craft.

on a personal note-joe seems a great guy, is all the better for not being in a celebritie circus (like the beckhams, etc).

finally the guy works bloody hard, still has boundless energy, innovative ideas which is constant in his music and hes done it his way. how many artists can say that?

i admire him and his work output greatly and is an inspiration in how i deal with my work with a camera.

that might sound syrupy but bollocks to it, just do what ya do best joe, be ya self.

revan: You know what, youre damm right! Had a wonderful snowy walk the other day...but no camera :( Ah well, you can't have it all I suppose. You're like a bus in a way as well, hardly any posts for ages and then 3 at once!!
Speaking of cameras, I modelled for a photography student yesterday. Yup, start of a new career I think...HA! Apparently I look like The Beatles (collectively) with my slightly long hair, and they wanted Beatles look alikes so, there I was! Bit strange having a camera shoved up my nose, but an experience nonetheless! :)

howdy igneous.

no snow here in the middle, we rarely get any. some say its cuz we are in a valley, i prefer to say we are in a depression-ho ho.

still hoping to move out of this scumpit soon. need some country living me thinks.

i had to model for some friends who do wedding photography and i hated it, i felt so awkward-i prefer the other side of the camera.

yeah i do try and check back here and try and keep up with the posts but im leave it for a week and theres 20 pages!

Hello from Alaska. I made the trip to Texas to see Joe at the HOB with Mountain. The show was great. I was up front, hugging the stage. And my pal got chosen to go up on stage for the encore, stage left. He took me with him. It was quite the experience. I was behind the rack of guitars and next to the stage hand that worked with Joe, exchanging guitars for songs.

The meet and greet was a small, which made it more personal. Joe signed my guitar and I asked him to draw something on the headstock. He said: "You're not giving me much room to work with." Oh well...now I have my guitar signed and drawn upon. I play that guitar everyday.

I am currently trying to find a sponsor (a radio station) to get Joe up to Alaska. I know we can fill the arena. It would be great to have him in Alaska.

Leslie West is quite the character. A great addition to the show. I look forward to next year's tour. I hope Joe will consider Alaska, somehow, someway.

CHRIS MARTIN COLDPLAY is an anagram of:

CRIMINALLY PROD SATCH and

interestingly you can seperately make ; CHIMP + CHRIS + CRIMINALLY + PINCH + SATRIANI + MELODY.

Wow Melbourne's highest rating breakfast radio just devoted 15 mins to the Satch lawsuit and discussed it with one of the local music gurus - played the songs and the overlapping songs, took talkback calls etc.

Satch was described as "huge in America" and "like a Hendrix God" or something LOL, but more importantly the music guru said it was a no-brainer that Satch had a case. He cited Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" case as an example.

LOML rang me from the car (he was on his way to work) to make sure I heard it, bless him.

Heey Joe, I just read the interview on musicman. And I knew it from the first second as well. Pitty things need to go this way. It was on Dutch radio this afternoon.

When are you coming back to Holland??? I saw you in de Rijnhal in Arnhem. I never had such a feeling like that. You were awsome! I really loved the solo after Always With Me Always With You. The song that made me fall in love with your music.

And another thing I wanted to ask you, When are you going to put down the price of your signature guitars??? I mean, we do have a financial crisis...

Lots of love and Rock on from Wouter, Holland

Hells bells , pictures of joe are now appearing alongside Coldplay in the news media. Before it was only of Coldplay and joe was freferred to as 'veteran' or 'rock guitarist'

Now he's on page 1 of Skynews.com as American guitar virtuoso]
