Great show by Joe in Phoenix recently but had to endure "Mountain" which was basically Leslie West dropping F bombs on the all ages audience. Just as we feared he cut into Joe's time topped off by buttin' into Joe's encore.

Do the Stu - Cover me and Don't You are absolutely 2 of my favorites for sure. As for their new album, there are a couple of tracks that I think they may have got a little lazy on writing some new riffs. Bitches Brewin is probably the most notable. While the song itself is a very cool rock song, the riff is for sure taken from the first album. My 3 favorites on the new one are Underneath it All and Breath Me In, the Intro and the song. Very nice stuff. I thought Candlebox really slipped after their first album. Seemed like the writing wasn't there. Then they faded away for a VERY long time. I have to say, give Into the Sun a shot. I think overall you'll really like it. Maybe not quite as good as the self titled, but it's good.

Legacy650--I wasn't aware Satchafunkalitis was a "disease". I thought it was a playful state of mind. Sometimes it makes me want to do the curly dance!!

Glitzman--You are way ahead of me, man! My car is in the shop and it's going to cost almost $700 to get it back! There goes the CD and guitar money!! Ouch!! Looks like I am going to have to put off a lot of purchases. Other than that, I'm doing OK.

dwimukh--How are you? Have they caught those criminals/murderers who killed over 100 people? I hope they are caught and locked away forever. We need an international law enforcement system that catches these outlaws and brings them to justice. This mess was only meant to cause more friction/fear and hatred between India and Pakistan. Music, love and peace rule!!

Maritime--I also am hoping a tour DVD release will be announced. Excellent question. What do you know about the Van Halen brothers? Were they born in the Netherlands? When did they leave for the USA?

Is Delft still an artists resort? I heard it was a place of beautiful earthenware crafts. That seems like centuries ago that was going on.

Do the Stu & Cappy--I plan to make a thorough study of ITLIS after I get it home. I heard samples from it and decided that is my next album. Who knows? Maybe it will become my favorite album. Right now, my favorite is Crystal Planet.

CappySteve--Me thinks it's time to change our society from a consumer based one to "what can I do for my brother/sister/neighbor society." I don't think the consumer based society is sustainable as we have found over the last year or so. What ever happened to R&D? What ever happened to rebuilding/renovating our infrastructure? We are almost literally standing on clay feet that are crumbling as we speak.

Roy--I like Neil Young, too. Did you know he has epilepsy? He describes it as "part of the landscape."

Will follow your previous request. ;-D

Michelle--How's you? How's your cat, Sully? Is he puffing up at anything else? Cat's are soooo cute and cuddly.

GGirl, I'm tired. Long day. My cat Sully is hardcore like his namesake. He's no snuggly kitteh. He lets ya love him for a few minutes, then he swats ya in yer face. lmao! He's a catnip kinda guy. He's getting better, but he's no lap cat. lol! My cat Stewart is a sweety, but still squirrly. He'll answer me when I call him, and he does a tippy toe dance and head butts ya. He's straight up, and stays off the nip. lol! The only time they really fight is when whore cat comes to the back door window. She's the little gray hooker from across the way. They go apeshit and beat the crap outta each other, and then little whore cat goes merrily on her way. If I could beat her owners, I'd do it in a heartbeat. lol! We had a beta fish that was my daughters dorm fish, but he died a few months ago. RIP Claudio Evian Sanchez! lol!

edit - and now that I have that song in my head, I have to dedicate THIS to Powerslave! lmao!!

Hi All,

Sorry it's been a while for posting, I've been recovering from the trip (got airplane lurgy darn it!).... lots of posts to catch up on

SF T2J'rs - forgot to ask at the time, did any of you see Joe casually roll up in his Range Rover? That was pretty funny

Anibur - hi! Yep, the concerts were grrrrrrrrr8. I think I owe you an email or two, I'll get caught up soon. You & Skippygirl have let me down though - imagine watching Joe for his chestliness and not his guitar magic. Next the other girlies will be telling me they do the same or a combination of the two LOL Surprised you both don't have that topless photo of him... I don't have a copy BTW, Al probably does though ha ha

Keniko - thanks for the info on the JSX. Do you have any more live videos of you and your band? If you can post a link I'd like to check it out. Have a feeling I said you looked and sounded like Gary Moore last time (sorry if that's not complimentary!)....

Skippygirl - everyone with anything other than standard access has a pass of some sort (press/photo/vip etc etc) so I guess Joe gets a one off VVVVVVIP pass LOL. Thanks I think ref the photo of me & Joe - do you mean 2008 or 1992/3 version!?

GG2 – hey, I’m not in the fan top 10 either? What happened : ( What’s the ranking criteria? No worries, I know my post count isn’t high, but that’s not the whole story ya know. Hope you’re feeling better after the flu (I think). Go to the Music page and you can see all Joe’s releases there and should be able to work out what needs to go on your list

Satriella - seriously seriously name change? You've lost it... more than before I mean : ) Did you manage to get chickenfoot in as your middle name....

Michelle - Pip here (well spotted!). Hopefully there are more photos up from the other San Fran T2J'rs... I only have a few from the concert, nothing will top Mahavishnu's etc. Er, I thought the scenery was pretty interesting, and quite steep. But having checked that photo you posted, maybe not! Back home, it's hilly at best. I love interesting scenery like you get in the US and Aussy. That pic - well, it sure looks like a nice place to grow up!

Do The Stu - "I'm still surprised the Warfield didn't self-destruct or the universe didn't collapse on itself when so many of us were in the same place at the same time..." very good, LMAO! Yep, the Joe cartoon was a bit of a stretch, unless you put him alongside the Galen one ; ) I agree on an acoustic record, plenty of time for that - later. Er yes, that old pic of me & Joe.... er, yeah, no comment - but I was in a sharing mood. Photo's of me generally don't work, as that shows (although it was almost 2am I recall)... that's my excuse ; ) Xfiles DVD released Monday funnily enough

Igneousiceman - the trip was cool, the people were great, the amount of time I gave myself for the trip - definitely crazy... but I'll do it again. As for prisoner, not a fan as such, but it was on every sunday when I was very small either before or after the GP's so I invariably saw it... and I met Patrick McGoohan on the tube once. Hmm, just realised that's twice the tube has helped me meet famous people....

Tuedayschild - hi, how are you doing? You should tag along with Al for the next trip. He's a nice bloke (ask all his lady friends), am sure he'd look after you. My head is semi "not of this earth".... it always feels surreal when you get back from so far away and then think "hang on, a few hours ago I was in.... it was cool, I shall be repeating it because I've lost my mind : ) I think I have to go to Pennsylvania (if I could spell it)?
