SuperDave and Cappy--Thanks for the advice. Yeah, being cash strapped sucks! However, I got two great sisters, a mum, an "adopted" brother in OK, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, a super step mom-in-law and my hubby, Steve, all of whom are precious to me.

SPYROS 13--How are things in Greece? I heard about rioting and social unrest. Are things settling down?

To our new T2Jer from Belgium, Ledje--Welcome and thank you for your country's blessing the world with Brussels/Belgium chocolates that taste like heaven! They are on my Christmas wish list. Yumm!

;-D GoldenGirl2

P.S. I still love Canadians--no humor like Red Green!!! Men's Prayer!!! lmao!!!

Hiya Joe, enjoyed seeing you and Leslie West.

I would like to see George Lynch on the next G3 tour, so much I would fly to the event if necessary.

Thanks for your outstanding legacy,

Has anyone seen that picture of Bernard Madoff with that smirk on his face? Does he want to get his lights punched out or what?

One of the bigger investors who lost everything because of Madoff just comitted suicide in his downtown NYC office. I hope Bernie has a nice holiday, don't you?

Irish Comedian ED BYRNE on TV as Aladdin for a pantomine performance. The princess says 'hey - you're irish' Ed Byrne says 'Yes - I listen to a lot of Boyzone'

Does Ed Byrne remind you of anyone? Al?

GG2- Not sure if u were asking me, or the forum. i do think individualism is important and neccesary. what is rugged individualism in the context it was used? could be physically strong or resiliant;2) or requiring strength, skill.and endurance- probably the latter. i would say its not overated at all. in fact i think our Joe Satriani is a "rugged individual." in that sense.

JS_JS-Thanks for the holiday wishes. I'm sure i am not the only jewish person here. MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy Holidays to all.

Bears Win!! bearly...win is a win.

In reference to the Joe / Coldplay debate. Has Joe thought about joining the enemy instead of fighting him? If he flat out sues Coldplay then he will get a lup sum, and a cease and desist order and that will be all. If I were Joe I would offer to join forces, and record a "new" version with Coldplay singing over it. Then He can get airtime, and exposure to people that for the most part would probably not know him otherwise. Then he would have a longer run of income from the song, and could still maintain the intregrity of it. Lets face the facts of reality. Coldplay is a huge international star. Creating a song with him would only help Joe and after all isn't that what it's all about?

Jeff Cappuccino Campitelli - Happy Birthday.... for Monday. A little early I know

Cube - they look pretty cool (the pedals). I don't suppose any of your myspace work features either of the Eventide pedals?

Do The Stu - cop chick trading cards... ? Al hasn't posted anything (but then again he is on another holiday)... so I think you might have to do it for him.

Roo - you're not allowed to count the guitars LOL The Musty professor stuff must be this years Aussy tour? That's a fast turnaround. What about cool DVD's?

GG2 - glad to hear your fella is feeling a bit better

Igneousiceman - you voted? Ha ha, what about X Factor and Strictly (just kidding!). Am sure it used to be voted for by the guests which I always thought was a better way of doing it. Regardless, a good top three and "Go Cyclists"!

Cheese - hey T. Congrats (so to speak) on the baby boy. Thanks for the cool video links, you news hound.

Cosmic Ape - what is it you're working on (that no ones even mentioned yet)? I'd like to see the manuscript for the vocal line on Viva alongside the 'vocal' line from the guitar on If I could fly. That would be interesting to see note lengths, etc. Get better soon

Glitz Man - and to you, thanks. Well done on the Xmas shopping, I still have 'some' to do.

Slansh - I hope maybe you'll get a chance to post some of that video stuff you've recovered. Be awesome to see you "live"

Rialton - regarding that vid I posted of Joe improvising an you questioned if it was Joe as he made a mistake? Check Cheese's Link to an extended version and I think that'll clear it up for you

Blue Moon - Screwdriver!

Maritime - nice menu, xmas at your place sounds fun!

Michelle - cat stopped eating, grooming and so on, and when checked out by the vet was given a bad prognosis. I hope the vet's conclusions were very very wrong! It's been a few days since she went to the vet and at the moment you'd have no idea she was really ill. I am hoping it's genuine recovery rather than drug induced but have to be patient.

Thanks for the good vibes

Tuesdayschild - good to see you still here. Saddened by the lawsuit because of (I have to ask as there are too many options to type out)? Can we all take bets on whether or not your kids leave you alone until 7.15? Gotta love em

SuperDave / js1200js1000 - that madoff guy was on a comedy show over here. Unsurprisingly he's known as "Made Off".....

Gnite all

Joe Satrini - While Slansh is in Scotland - here is a link for you from when Roy was fondly known as 'chordboy'. He wasn't allowed to play his demonic stuff and the singer would always start making shouting noises when he was playing - as you'll see in this video of one of his former bands - The Iron Horse. The viseo was from Lorient, France in front of 7000 people. It isn't classic Slansh - but its still a good tune.

I love Mozart!! I think Joe is the "Mozart" of the late 20th and early 21st centuries!!! He brought the electric guitar front and center--not unlike what Mozart did for the piano or is it piano/forte?

Oooo, Al McKenna!! Everytime you look in the mirror, a very handsome man is lookin' back at ya!! WILL YOU DENY THIS SELF EVIDENT REFLECTION? Come on....guy!!
