Hey Joe,
I know this really isn't your department, but I am trying to locate a guitar and was hoping you had a direction to point me in.
Short story, I had a 1982 Ibanez AR50BK for years when I was younger. Couldn't pay rent one month in College so I sold the guitar. Anyway, I graduated, got a real house a real job. Sort of grew up and still miss that guitar. You know the top 10 stupidest things you've done. Well that,s on mine.
Anyway, I have a couple guitar shops looking for me including the guys at The Guitar Center in Manhattan. After a couple months of looking, not even a bite.
I am not looking for a gift or a hand out. I want to buy it! Any ideas on where to look or have you seen one recently.
I appreciate yout time and your gift of music you have given me for years.
Thanks Joe,
Bill Matheson

Does anyone know if Joe still teaches at all or if Mr.Satriani could reply to this himself would be amazing. I'm 16 and have been playing guitar for a while now but I'm nowhere's near where I want to be. A lot of my influences come from the same guys you were influenced by including Jimi Hendrix and of course Les Paul. I was just wondering if you had any advice that might be helpful or if you could possibly show me a few things. Thanks, Sincerely Justin

Hello kiddies, long time no post,,,what am I missing here??
I just want to say that: Joe doesn´t need exposure...He doesn´t need more fans...he has had enough fans throughout his career, he can do whatever he wants now... Coldplay is a good pop rock band. But Joe has a legacy behind him. We love Joe and that is what matters to us...peace

M le Zen Poisson - Me and family all fine thanks. Did you have the operation on your knee and although you only have one good knee is the other one getting better. I guess lumberjacking isn't much fun on one knee, I just got this wild vision of you hopping from tree to tree but it's not funny really. Hope things improve for you soon.
Victoria's secret tuesday child - You'll probably have a very long wait for one of those!

Slanshroom:-Thank you, thank you, thankyou so much for reminding me of one of my great childhood heroes. The Swedish Chef still makes me LMFAO....although i must learn to make sure i do not have ANY sort of beverage in my mouth when i'm about to watch something that'll make me spray it all over anything within ten feet of me,which usually means my computer. Thanks again,Slansh. You made my day!!!! Urgh... I have flu (and it's not man flu!)... so I am wearing about 3 layers plus a dressing gown and me hat and it made me think of this this.... and no, I won't be posting a photo!
Fablawyer - thanks for that link, cool! Chordboy huh!? That should be Roy's nick on here if he gets bored
Michelle - kitty is normal (or in fact good) at the moment. Agree about a different vet, but not exactly spoilt for choice here.
Cube - thanks, checked em out, nice work. Your tone is very 'clean' for want of a better description. What are you using for lead tones?
Igneous - yep, she was the right winner, definitely. I'm not into beyonce but my jaw did hit the floor when they did their duet ... sometines the show should be called the cheese factor though : )
Tuesdayschild - someone thinks I'm Joe? Huh, what? How did the singing go? Don't leave the board, just looks like a misunderstanding.
Rialton - here is the extended video that contains that Joe improv (and was posted by Cheese) ... it's clearly Joe, what makes you think it's anyone else? Looks like a JS1000 in white to me
JS1200JS1000 - nice find on that squares stuff. Thanks!
Do The Stu - looks to me like Jeff is sporting a 'fro' in that photo LOL
Slanshroom - swedish chef, ah brilliant. Thanks for posting that, LMAO
Hope you all had a good Christmas!
