hey what? oh I see donny is awake! you know something there,s areason for the pice of steel and custom seat bracket well it is against the law to make a seat new to rebuild one unless your me cycle salvage said I could after your seat goes your suppose to scrap the machine under law! in peterborugh county I had nothing to work with the wood on the bottom of it was all wrotten and broken seat bracket and talight bracket all rusted and broken,seat cover old and weather and shrink, algoma steel if you fit it like even though I am a straight welder I had to welder fitter the seat,because I had no patterns whic meant actauly measureing the machine for the wood where to cut it and drill it and buy a jigsaw to do it and the wood, the bracket nothing to work with had to measure drill cut weld the studs bolts welded in the steel plate(stud) everything algoma steel is good if it,s used proeprly it heel,s bones fracture derives cacium and nutrition in order to all bones and gaurds against damage as well no shit Im liceneced and ticket welder the last place I worked was called speciaized sections in rexdal across from levis we build stuff for new yorl hydro jet engine test and stroage containers some stuff for the army and for nasa plus high rise buildings,like street work not on computer anyways more coffee and yeah donny the 85 ski-doo formula mx is the fastest snowmobile ever produced in the world say you need a filter a rotary valve line anything they give you 97 mach 1 stuff now ! later wolf2.

Blue_Moon you've made it very clear you don't care to discuss the Coldplay lawsuit in spite of it being a major news story picked up by every news wire outlet on the net ~ All Things Considered on NPR ~ this is an open forum: you're entitled to your opinion. Fans of Joe who choose to discuss the issue are also entitled to their opinion, so I am NOT asking you to be quiet. Likewise, those who want to discuss this will continue to post in spite of your objections.
Notice I say "fans of Joe" because let's face it no one likes to read troll posts

Furthermore, the response here on T2J has been overwhelmingly positive, so I for one don't care to be lumped into the group of "everyone with a computer". Me and my computer have been vocal in our support of Joe, while you and your computer have done nothing but complain about the topic. So my question to you is: WHY? What +_exactly_+ do you have against this being a topic of discussion?

hey! fouck Iam getting paranoid you see ,I was sitting on the couch going holy fouck Iam like tottaly back to normalROTAX ski-doo Can -am and first of weider,I was sitting their going holy fouck wolf2 that brain feels tottaly back to normal and tottaly health body and stuff then I went focuk i dont know if i like this to myself well i mean i like it but what if a wire cross,s again and we break the law then im foucked! the big problem was fungus man no shit my models of rotax dont kill fungus until their bored out they have new models that kill fungus out of the box but I can feel the vinyl from weider weights on my brain they guarantee full returnment of psychatric presnts of same manouver,but now with guaranteed seperation in your brain it means a wire wont cross like with my weider cast iron ones so even though i am back to normal their should be no reason to be paranoid about breaking the law or woorry now that my weights have sepration,s but fouck scarry prison thought,s paranoid it was like holy fuck! go talk to joe tell someone man ! later wolf2.

I have all of them, but IMO the first two are fresh and innovative. Still now, 30 years later, I listen to them from time to time and they're far away from boring me.

Hey Joe!
I'm Chelsea and I'm 16 years old. I have been listnening to your music since my mom was pregnant with me. =D My mom, Sheila (Bubbles), posted a blog about the whole Coldplay song rip off thing and I wanted you to see my response.
Here are my observations:
If you listen closely to Matt Bissonette's bass you will notice that he plays the notes long and (legato). If you listen to the cello playing in "Viva La Vida" the cello player plays the same notes Matt plays only more stacatto and an octave higher.
This next piece of info I heard may make everyone listen closer to Joe Satriani's song "If I Could Fly" and Coldplay's "Viva La Vida."
Less than a minute into Joe Satriani's song "If I Could Fly" Joe plays an amazing part (50 seconds into the song to be exact). If you listen to Chris Martin sing the first lyrics, "I used to rule the world. Seas would rise when I gave the word..." etc.
Listen to Joe Satriani's guitar playing and sing the 1st 4 lines of the song, "Viva La Vida."
YES! THEY ARE THE SAME.
I don't want to say that Coldplay went and said together, "Hey! Let's steal this guy Joe Satriani's talent and make a song from it." I also don't doubt the similarities between the songs. It definitley should be known that if Coldplay did in fact take some things from Joe Satriani that Joe needs credit where credit is due.

it really doesn't matter what any of us think or say about the JS vs that no nothing band. it is in the courts hands now. obviously joe thinks he was done wrong and that is all that matters. i will not be mad at any silly person that thinks that other band didn't plagerize him. there are too many things that make it too similar. obviously joe's label and lawyers agree. let it go. vanillia ice said the same things to avoid the law suit as well as many othere b4 this. it will all work out in the end.

gingerpants (what a name) ,no inside info , i just sometimes do a google and start on page 10 or 300. I think that that one was page 20ish.
The journalist who posted it , Kieran Maccarthy , i read is from uk and is living in LA. He says he's never heard of joe satriani. Did you see the link to the Coldplay & The Verve - Bitter sweet symphony that he links to. That was taken from the rollingm stones.

Blue_Moon--Yer right about Mark Knopfler bein born in Scotland (read it in a GuitarPlayer book).
He's a prolific songwriter and guitar genius in his own right. To bad, I have only one of his albums--Brothers In Arms. Unfortunately, some think he is rubbish!! I'm not naming anyone because he/she can speak for themselves. So many tastes in music!
Because of my luniness on this road, I would like to splain my visions of nude men. I read an article, "It's Different for Girls" in the Dec. 6/7 issue of the Financial Times (Life and Arts section, page 2). The differences between growing up male and growing up female are enough for one to take notice of where we have been and what we have become.
Like Michael Stipe of R.E.M. sings in "Losing My Religion"--"I've said too much....I haven't said enough." Lifes ironies!!
