In some countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and other parts of Asia and many countries in Africa IT IS ALMOST ILLEGAL TO BE BORN & GROW UP FEMALE! Why wasn't I born in one of those countries--I would have been dead long ago! What's one more female corpse??!!

I do have hyperthyroidism and take 2 prescription meds for it and 2 years later I was diagnosed with clinical depression and take 2 to 3 meds for that. Also high blood pressure and take another med for that. How many more meds are doctors going to pile on before I go backrupt? This is not sustainable. But it is typical USA half-assed medical treatment. What am I supposed to do go find a doctor in France or Spain or UK or The Netherlands or Germany or Denmark or Belguim or Sweden or Norway or Finland or Switzerland or Italy or Greece or Portugal or Canada to help me? If I go to another country I may not come back to US.....

Wow...

WTF is so bad about being a girl? Girls are beautiful creatures! It's a 50/50 crap shoot when yer born. Yer either male or female. You should just be happy your not stuck in transgender hell!! THAT life sucks. So you have so medical problems. Don't we all? If you let them run your life, that's just what they're gonna do. There are people with far more life threatening ailments who are living life to the fullest. It's not easy, but it is possible. You live in Cali. I'm pretty sure yer not stuck in a blizzard like half the U.S. Get outside and DO something! Take yer husband for a walk around the block. Go out to the music store and get yer mind off of life. Read a book! Go out for a nice dinner. Get a bunch of teenagers to have band practice at yer house! That'll rattle yer thoughts for a few hours. Personally, I have 1,947 problems at the moment. The first and foremost one on my mind 24/7 is my step dad battling cancer. His treatment is not pretty in the least. When I think of what he has to go through every day, it kinda makes all my silly little shit seem pretty pathetic.

Anyways, I'm off to do happy Christmassy thangs! Peace out!

Wolfie--Let's go to the Psychiatic Hospital together. We both have mental and physical (brain) blocks that people just don't understand. Sad, people just don't get it... And so the stigma goes on in the 21st century.

fatape--Been there done that! No help there!

Michelle--I been doing things with my Steve, like goin out to dinner and going for walks. Have you ever felt like your feet weighed 500 lbs. each? Have you ever felt like your head was a bowling ball? Have you ever felt so dizzy, you can't stand up? Try that on and see how it feels! The damn doctors don't know what to do with me! Do you get the picture or do I have to draw one for you?!

Peeps, you that are healty be grateful every day that you are able to go places and do what you want without restrictions. You never know when or where you may lose that precious health all of a sudden or even gradually.

Now I gotta throw down...

GG, part of my 1,947 problems ARE health problems, but I don't feel the need to tell everybody about them. That's my bidness and I keep it that way. You don't have to draw a fucking thing for me. I get it, and I know what it's all about! Don't throw shit out if you don't know who yer talking to. We ALL suffer in some way, be it mentally or physically - or both. THIS isn't really a helpline, it's a music forum. We ALL have our moments as friends here on t2j when we need support from each other. Most of us who post to you have tried to support you, but yer last few posts were waaaay to much over sharing! There are forums where talking about yer va-j-j and sex life are appropriate. This really isn't one of them. Dudes don't wanna talk girlie problems. I kinda don't wanna either. Is it possible to get psychotherapy along with yer drug therapy, because one really isn't good without the other. Maybe that will help you more with working things out. Sorry if I've pissed you off, but c'mon Milli, you know this just ain't the place for that.

Mmmmn, depression is shit. I'm a widow due to it - eighteen months ago my husband was successful at attempt No. 9....

Milli....try Womens-health.com....or Uncommonforum.com/depression for some good specific support. I hope that's of some help to you.

Phil....thinking of your cat...poor thing

I don't know about you guys, but I'm finding Guns and Roses Chinese Democracy just more and more listenable to the more it's on! I'm still not keen on Axl's vocals...but I'm loving the way the songs are constructed and Bucketheads guitar work....amazing! Is there anyone else who, like me, at first wasn't sure then it grew on them? Amongst my circle, it seems to have that sort of growing effect.

Joe Satrini--I hope your cat is restored to health. My friend's cat was in the hospital a few months back. He had to have surgery. I told my friend I wanted to visit him in the hospital. People enjoy company of friends and family while in hospital, so I figured a cat would like a visitor. He did. He wanted his face rubbed. The nurse opened the cage, helped me disinfect my hands and I got to pet Bailey. What a sweetie! He even purred and this was post-op!

Michelle--Your masculine side appears many times in this forum and you have verbally kicked my ass! You have also shown the humorous side of Barak Obama's diverse background with "There's no one as Irish as Barak Obama"! Thank you. ;-/

Slans--You are right about me. I need to see my endocrinologist ASAP.

SkippyGirl--Thank you for your encouragement. I will listen to the advice in Joe's song, "Just Look Up" I am enjoying every listen to ITLIS. Also, recently received Dire Straits "Making Movies" in the mail. My favorite song on that CD is "Solid Rock". Mark Knopfler says something that points to Joe and other great musicians, "I wanna live on solid rock, I'm gonna live on solid rock, I WANNA GIVE AND NOT BE BLOCKED, I wanna live on solid rock."

Thoroughly Golden Milli - Don't take ole Conch too much to heart, she's had a grouch at a few peeps (including myself) over the years but if she has any nasty bones in her body there aren't many. She might appear to have a hard shell (LOL, she is a shell!) but I reckon she has a nice soft centre. You can tell from these pages she's been a very good friend to Monterrey Trace (among others).

Peace out.
