Glitzman: I'm okay but tired. Christmas was great. I got practicle but needed clothes. I fired up the Gary Howie album and opened up presents. I guess I just haveta keep my foot open at night to let it dry out. I'm on the mend. Thanks to you for inquiring about me. Merry christmas! Keep listening to Joe! Above The Numbers music is still at :cdbaby.com/cd/abovetn for pics of me with some "friends" with my guitar: flickr.com/photos/ibanezplayer

Joe,

I've been out of touch with your work for a while, but I just picked up your "Super Colossal" cd; what a nice body of work! Very musical, not a vehicle to show the world how accomplished a muscian you are (we already know that).

I've been playing it and playing and playing it...can't put it away.

Warmest regards

Ooooo, nice photo shoot and interview Joe, with you, Zakk Wylde and Les Paul in the Guitar Edge mag....Jan/Feb edition...

So was Zakk really crazy in person? I thought the mix of the 3 of u was a really interesting choice....sp diverse and yet joined in spirit by your love of all things guitar.....

Oh, and my guitar guy/friend Troy is going to be at Winter Namm and told me about the "mini G-3" that's gonna happen...DANG that sounds fantastic!! I'm betting there'll be more than the 3 of you on that stage before the end of the night, YEAH!! VIDEO!!! lol!!

Have a great time there Joe :)

Hey Joe, one of my friends claimed that you don't use the standard Ibanez JS guitars. He said that Joe must use some sort of custom made ones. I told him why not to use for example JS1200 as it is because it's already custom made by yourself. OK, I know that you own custom ones besides the standard guitars. However, is it true that you don't use standard JS guitars (during the concert for example)? In fact, yours may have slight differences. Can you enlighten us? ;)

....Hey and yeah ,I have been sad for quite a while now ,many days.It is do to the fact that I cant workout no more, right now Iam suffering from MATAIUS whic is the deadly physical peranture constructed of more then 300 martial arts to the success of the build. I dont need to workout for about 10 year,s whic of course means I have nothing to do! the only thing I can do for the mataius is put vaseline on it what it is is felmin of strength that gather and once that happens it could take many weeks to go away even with the petroleum jelly rub but it eases it periodicaly.Im serious Joe I am maxed right out my punch increase by like 300 X on impact so thats why I have been so sad not when I sleep or when I first wakeup but when I feel like working out and now it would be no good for me and loose strength like that! anyways more coffee later wolf2.

Ozzy_Fudd: What you need is the new Planet Waves 'HandJoe', all of Joe's genius in a handy (excuse the pun) easy to use..er, thing. Then you'd have it all, guitar, amp, pedal etc...might be easier to kidnap the man himself though :)

Salut Joe ! Jamais personne ne t'égalera, tu es the best in the world. I love you so much au-revoir Joe shayny alias Diane ;-) xoxoxooxxoxo

Sylvan: the only customisation I know that Joe makes to his guitars is that he prefers the old Egde-pro or Lo-Pro (sorry, I'm not an ibanez player) bridges, so he get's the new ones taken out of his js1200's and gets the old style ones chucked in. He told us this at a Q&A session in Sydney Australia this year.

Mind you, I think Satch also experiments with pickups whilst on tour; just trying to find new sounds. Although it sounds rather risky to willingly tweak your setup whilst performing live, so there's a good chance that's not true.
