Hi All - I am a zillion posts behind and have other stuff to post but for now, please can I ask form some good vibes for my cat?

She's suddenly developed something and I'm well worried. Been given a steroid to hopefully pick her up but the vet was adamant she's too old to be operated on : (

So if your prayers will help I'll take them please

I know there are worse things, but she's alway been a family member to me

Thanks peeps

Joe, You've been a huge inspiration to me in the past and I'll always be a huge fan. I checked out the comparison of your tune and Coldplay's, and while the chord progression is the same, the whole song isn't the same. I wish you luck, but also this might be a wake up call for you - If your songs are sounding like Coldplay material, then maybe it's time to get back to some heavier material!

And that is what I'm begging of you now - to do some more "metal" sounding stuff, or heavy, or whatever you want to call it. Your last cd really bummed me out because it's nothing like you're capable of. I can't listen to it because it's just too whimpy.

Like I said though, I'll always be a fan. I just wish you'd switch things up a bit every once in a while. Check out the new solo cd's from Marty Friedman and Jeff Loomis. Songs can be heavy and still have good melody to them!

So I'm begging you....please do some heavier, faster, darker material for the next record!

Joe, I forgot one thing I wanted to ask you - Why don't you ever come to Indianapolis? Maybe we're not the biggest demographic target for you, but you could schedule a smaller venue like the Vogue, or Birdys, or The Music Mill, or even the Murat. I guarantee you they would be sold out shows and would be appreciated by your fans. Seriously, check out those venues and see if you could pop in while on tour. Unless you just don't care about your fans..... ?

Scooby Doo - It was the island of Tenerife, not the sunniest at this time of year but still good. Easy to arrange at relatively short notice and fairly easy to get there and back. Not only are they now short on suds with the festive season approaching, but short of wine AND Capitan Morgan.

Slan the man - Cheeky! But yep, i'm a little low on zinc at the moment.

Wolfie and I are way out there! I want off this efffing planet! I think I have always been mentally weird--depressed. I have trouble concentrating on things and am easily distracted and it makes me effing crazy! I have been a sex mainiac all my life and I didn't know it until I was 14. Great! A few months after JS took up guitar playing, I had sex for the first time! Lovely! No, no...I'm a nice girl, I didn't smoke, smoke weed, do blow, shoot heroin or pop pills! I resisted everything except chocolate, root beer and sex! How pathetic! No wonder I'm such a loser! My mom said she wanted a boy anyway AND my dad wanted me the way I was! They said they had me because my sister asked for a little brother or sister AND I turned out to be a girl instead of a boy that was wanted!! Stupid friggin girl!! That's why I'm so effed up.

I want to sleep with my guitar--Still trying to tune it and place fingers for chords--It's gonna take me a looooooooooong time!!

Slan - Perfect pitch. Dunno if this little story will help but it is true. An old colleague of mine used to be a club singer, bit of a pain for him at times 'cause back in the days when we had booze on the ships he was always called upon to have a sing as the evening progressed. Annyhoo, chin wagging away with him one day we got into how come he started singing in clubs and why he packed it in and started working for a living. It turns out that he can sing any song and without thinking about it can manage to sing in perfect pitch, however he never 'made it' as a singer, just didn't have that something that makes someone stand out. So, i'm no expert and I don't pretend to be but it seems to me that mastering perfect pitch is not necessarily the answer but what comes out of a person, be it through an instrument or voice. Could this be where that thing called 'tone' rears it's ugly head? Of course there are always those geniuses who have it all. Lucky bastards! Having said all that, I could be talking complete ballix! Best o' luck in your search.

Satrini Phil....so sorry to hear about your kitty, I hope she's going to be okay very soon...they are family members, even if covered with fur :)

Wicket vids chelle!! U know I love that one, LOL...EEEEEEEeeeennnnnneeeeemmmmmeeeeee.....and if I'd had a different life, woulda wanted to go snowboarding myself, it looks like so much fun!

Cap'n Steve, I think I need to clear something up. Joe's daughter is the one who had the baby...and he's beautiful and perfect and so sweet. Both momma and baby are good and learning life together now.....Chris is kinda separated from the whole thing but thinks it's great that everything turned out well. We don't even live in the same country as momma and baby...but my arms are achin to be there, for sure. My Joe would have been so proud, and so happy to be here with his grandson...that's the heartbreaking part of this, for everyone. But he lives on in the new baby...sweet lil Keagan, and in his daughter.

Milli....I just....don't even know what to say to u....do you take meds for your depression at all? Cuz if not...they might help. I dunno....but u were born a girl and everyone just hasta get over it, accept it and move on, maybe yes?

Hi Joe, hear you've recently been in the studio doing some recording for ChickenfootPA :) Are you excited? How's it going? Anything you can share?

Tomorrow I drive over a really nasty mountain to try to bring Chris home for the week of Christmas....I have a 4-wheel drive jeep and studs on the tires.....god hep us to get there and back without a slide offa dat mountain!! It's a blizzard out there!! Packed snow, ice....*shivers*...to be continued.....
