Finding the time!!!
I picked up my guitar for the first time in a couple of weeks and was really let down with how bad I let my playing get. It felt as though I was learning to play all over again. I started playing back in 1999 and was really serious about it for about 5 years. At one point a guy from livewire offered me a job playing 3 nights a week at the local dives, but I had to refuse. I wasn't really into playing the top 40's stuff if you know what I mean.
Back in 2004 I became the proud father of twin girls and haven't really been able to find the time to play anymore. Between the wife, kids, and 60 hours a week at the office I just can't seem to work playing into my schedule.
What really sucks is that it is the one thing I was always really passionate about. If anyone out there can give me any ideas on how to find the time I would sureley appreciate it!
Joe- I was bummed to find out you were so close to my home town in early November. I hope you guys make back to Arizona again. I would love to catch a live show. I used to play a caouple of sets with nothing but songs from Flying in a Blue Dream and the Extremist. Any technique tips you could offer would be awesome.

...Hey this is so tottaly not something you can relate to joe but might know what I am talking about.Stacey brought this up today .Now when you give a sicilian a haircuttheir suppose to be a special machine turned on and they adjust the setting for how hard hes working gangster or if not sometimes even higher setting whic everyplace in the states has one .Anyways their isnot one of these machine at any salon hairstylists or even barbers in the country now underlaw every sicilian is suppose to get diagnosed with schizophrenia in canada they do it by when you were born buddy without the machine you hear voices but schizophrenia mediction does work your not allowed to get a haircut without getting arrested in Canada if your siclian and not taking schizophrenia medcition buddy and stacey knew all this today buddy they leave the whole thing up to you they let you go crazy from the haircuts but you have to previously have the police and psycatric hospital booked for the diagnosis buddy even today stacey said after this even with the pills at first few noises buddy the whole thing has to do with roatational machine guns and birth no shit anyways later wolf2 atleast stacey know i dont actualy have schizophrenia man and i cant go to anyone else unless they have clipper scissors for gangster under law anyways no machines in this country wild hey bro later wolf2.

I gained almost 50 pounds over the last 5 years, so this year I decided to hit the gym hard for like 6 months. I gained tons of muscle and now I feel and look better, but I only lost ten pounds! Muscle does weigh more than fat, I guess!

Hey Everyone,
Been very busy. Sorry I haven't talked with you all. There is so much to talk to you all, but I have to make it short.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF!!!
The Holidays went well for me and for my family.
We had a huge ice storm about a week or two ago here in Fort Wayne and a lot of folks lost power. Luckily, I didn't. My work place (Holiday Inn), had all our rooms sold out because we had the guys from AEP staying with us. They came from all over the U.S. It was great to have them and to help restore power for us. I also worked Christmas Eve, and I have to work New Year's Day tomorrow morning. Therefore, no partying or drinking tonight. As for work, it is still going well.
SuperDaveMcCarthy: It is good that you are getting back in shape. You should also run. Go on a treadmill, or go outside and jog. I try to run more in the cold, if I get the chance. The last time I ran was about two weeks ago.

Learn guitar sufficient enough to hack out a Satch song
Learn some music theory
Get the fittest I have ever been in my life (used to play A grade basketball and am now struggling round the oval)
Start contributing some time with a community group or organisation yet to be chosen
Stop yelling at the kids
Be a better wife
Keep work stress down to zero
Build the Satch collection
should be easy peasy.......

SUPAAdupaaDave, yer weight gain is way better than black lung. I'm sure you prefer losing weight over losing a lung. I remember when ya quit, and I'm proud of ya! I have a sis who's been smoking for almost 35 years, and ya can just hear the feckin death rattle in her chest when she laughs. It's just not worth it.
