aww yeah, and jesus i cant beleive how stupid some of those coldplay only fans are, it boggles the mind how those people operate, to say sometihng like that is just plain wrong in its purist form and on joe's site too, as much as i ignored it i had to post something cause its just so ridiculous, and the funny thing is i tihnk the coldplay thing is a coinsidence, but to knock someone like that is stupid... can tbelieve some people sometimes... its just ignorent above all else

Al & Chelle & Tracie--I gotta be there when you all get smashed. I'll make sure I stay outta the way of the lu! I want to live another day, week, month, year.....whatever is given afore me and see me great nieces and nephews grow up. I am the designated driver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Winter and Spring are here at the same time--blossoms on the trees and snow on the mountains above 2,000 feet (?????kilometers). It's been freezin' at night and a high of between 4 & 5 degrees C during the day. I guess it's nice to know what season it is and not be seasonally challenged. Cali is just trying to have mild winters like its sposed to.
What's with the Troll? Sour grapes! It just goes to show that Joe's music has depth that some shallow people can't understand. Too bad!
DoTheStu--U2 is sooo Irish. I don't understand why Al McKenna doesn't like them. He has some splaining to do! I mean what happens when there music enters his ears? Does it become dissonant and discombobulated? Does it enter his ears in a backwards way? Is it too echoee? What a mystery!

Tostado - A few years ago on Rockline, Joe explained how he met Rubina.
I did a quick search, and according to a post of mine from 2004, Rubina was Joe's older sister's boyfriend's daughter's roommate.
I know that sounds very Spaceballs-like, but I think that actually is how they crossed paths...they probably met at a party or something like that.

Hello,my prognosis is good and i get to check out of hospital after almost 2 weeks here tomorrow. They took the catheter out of my kneck and put another one in on the right side going under the skin to my chest. They're hoping I will only have to undergo another week or 2 of dialysis and that there is no permanent damage to the kidneys. I know that women more commmonly use poison than men, so don't piss any girl you love off on Valentines day. I live in Florida and I know there has been a problem with salmonella poisoning recently but nothing with anti freeze. I'm going to be really sad now as I can't go kitesurfing with some Joe tunes on out in the waves for a while, the wind is so good this time of year. I'm not holding my breath as far as the police finding anything out. Thanks for the well wishes. The one great thing i have noticed here and at any of Joe's concerts I have been to, is the fans are always good people and always a great span in ages too. Thanks again.

Joe, I have all your cd's, and listen to them daily. When I was in the navy back in 1987, a friend on my ship who was a guitar player had duty, and asked me if I would pick up you "Surfing" tape. The rest is history, and I've loved you ever since! I play the same Ibanez featured on your "Not of this earth" Cd. You will always remain the best player throughout time, and my fav song is "Love thing".

To the gals of T2J - Happy Valentines Day (if you celebrate it in any way). Hope you all have a nice day
To the guys... six nations rugby's etc on TV later : )
Michelle - glad you're ok after that! You know, transition kitty is a simple yet genius idea yet it never occurred to me! If we had two of the last one though it would of been a bit of handful. She was NUTS when she was younger. So.... if you're rizzo, and Al's Sandy, who can I be? I still wanna play LMAO
Igneous - have you seen the latest (Armstong) Trek that you can win? Mmmmmmm! You happy with the Satchurator then I take it - will you be getting the time machine? If you're running windows Vista with the win classic theme then I'd say "downgrade" it to XP and watch it fly. Thanks for the comments on my vids, much appreciated.
Skippygirl - do you do transition kitty principal as well? She was 16, which I think puts her at 80 odd, but never acted or looked like it. Er, yes, I guess I'm in touch with my feminine side - but don't tell anyone ok : ) I remember going to the Aus open (as I missed the Indycars at Surfers) and was amazed I could actually just rock up on the day, walk straight in, buy tickets for "Centre Court" if I wanted and just go watch. WAY better than Wimbledon...
Castle49 - oh man, sorry to hear that, good vibes to you and your pop.
Cheese - thanks (re the playing). I'm really back into it, but still not enough time to practice like I used to. But I got massive inspiration to make time - the urge kicked in around November 08 : ) Those Joe vids you posted are mega. I've seen Joe play loads of times without the shades, but not for a LONG time so that was cool. Infectious smile huh! P.S Thanks for creepin me out with yer ghost story.. yikes
Dream 3 - glad your friends are ok!
Roo - thanks (ref Santo & Johnny). I get the feeling All Alone is a cover of a Billie Holiday record with a performance by Mal Waldron. I know I've read it somewhere in an article about Joe but when I search it I draw blanks as the versions of All alone I find are nothing like Joe's. You're spot on about the way the Satch vs Coldplay supporters arguments are structured. Another set of "gifted" writers I guess
Glitz Man - yeah, I'm good thanks. Your run times and finish positions look good. I couldn't be out in the cold doing that, I don't function well when it's cold LOL
Blue Moon - well done on passing, and on Friday the 13th! If I'd have seen that come up as my test date I'd have rebooked, damn date! BTW, where's the photo of cop chic?
FX - wow, that's terrible. I hope you managed to find out who and why. Sending good vibes your way
Zinc Master - I was always surprised (as a Marino Fan) that he stuck with that number on his shirt. Guess he didn't believe in it which is fair enough
Do The Stu - I too was hoping C/Play would get served at the Grammy's. That would have made some great TV. Can't believe they've been trying to avoid the process... smacks of mega worried to me. As Al's chickened out, can you post that cop chic trading card for us : ) ??
Ibanez_god - your last post sounds interesting! You might want to edit it though, depending on how serious your mischief was? Good on ya though ; )
Have a great day everyone

DoTheStu: Wherever there is meniton of Rush, rest assured, I will butt in...I quite like Hemispheres, especially Cygnus. That really requires a proper listen.
JSPhil: I love the Satchurator, (so does my dad actually, he keeps complementing me on my tone, which is always nice :) Best £85 I ever spent. Nice looking new Madone series, have you seen the 'bottom of the range' 4.5? only £1400 or so, very nice.
ibanez_god: Care to divulge what you did? I'm interested now...:)

Happy HALLMARK DAY. If my missus don't know how I feel about her after 20 years, whats the point. I'm sorry but these type of days annoy the crap out of me. Why should I be forced to feel obliged to spend money on card's and crap on this one particular day. If I choose to buy her flowers, I'll buy them. (for the record, 20 years and I can remember only once I got her flowers). This doesn't mean she's not my world. I would die for my wife, she goes without nothing, but I refuse to pressured into something because some company's want to cash in on it. Well that's my opinion anyway.
