Why does Joe's Signature guitars don't have 24 frets?
I had to buy Steve Vai's model because of that.
Did not had that much money so bought the cheapest one Jem Jr.
and know what was stuck with bad pickups
Changing it with Di marzio pickups now
Was looking at that Youtube video again of Satch
Seems Funtwo was too scared to get near Joe during the show
Was also looking at the BackStage videos
Will.I.Am was shaking his head during the guitar duo
I play so many songs of Joe at my School that now I'm called Joe by most of the guys especially after i got bald (I do have hair now) but sadly In India Joe is not very popular Bryan Adams and Iron Maiden is.
He did a concert at Calcutta sadly less people were there...and out of excitement everybody broke the baricades and they seemed to be even lesser after getting compact.
He should have done it in Delhi or Bombay....but still i don't know how popular he is there too.
Currently I'm working on Guitar Antics
One of them is throwing the guitar in the air and catching it while somersalting i wonder if i'll even be able to do it
The others are throwing the guitar and catching it simple ones

KtzA - Welcome back!
Sporlan8 - I've never recorded my own music, but as a fan I've come across several musicians who have said the biggest mistake they made was not retaining control of their publishing.
It's a tough decision...if you keep the rights to yourself you'll have total control but no one will hear you. If you give them away you might become popular, but you wouldn't be making any money. I guess if you're optimistic you'd keep the rights to yourself, knowing that your music is good enough and will eventually do things for you.
I don't know what publishing companies you're looking at, but if you find one that lets you give some music to them while continuing to publish other stuff on your own, that might work. You'd lose a song or three, but maybe that'd be enough exposure to get people into your other music.
ibanez_god - Ah...
"Well, that was easy.
Yeah, a little too easy.
Look! It's Raph.
Yeah, a little too Raph."
TMNT rules...I'm such a nerd...

Sporlan8- post some of your songs, all of us would love to hear it, especially instrumental rock.
I don't have the experience to answer your question but I would say, if you play gigs or anything like that where your own company could catch I would go with that, but otherwise there is a good chance of expanding with a wellknown company. see what Joe says.
and also what guitar and equipment do you use?

Maritime--Nothing like a goofy confession post! Thanks. Also thanks for the Hubble telescope info. Amazing images of the universe! Those planetary astronomers and astro-physicists are on multiple missions this year and taking advantage of the International community of astronomers for viewing down-under as well as at the higher elevations in the northern hemisphere! Laurance Doyle, have the time of your life! (Oh, uhhm....he's the graduate from the University of Heidelburg who went to undergraduate school at San Diego State U with my older sister!) He now lives in Menlo Park and works for SETI in Mountain View, CALI! of course!
Mr. McKenna--How can you be so cruel? What would happen if you met Bono and the Edge and told them their music is shite and eff off and they backed off and looked at each other and started crying because you hurt their feelings? Geezz Luezzze!! What a way to win friends and influence people!!
Tracie and Michelle--I'm at a loss here....I may as well pack my bags and take a leave! Why does Mr. McKenna have to be sooo mean? What happens if U2 breaks up because Al McKenna hates them? All their fans would put on sackcloth and ashes and mourn for a whole year or more! LOL!!

satch, so are u thinking about a new G3 tour for 2009, this would be a killer line-up with gary hoey as the opener, then steve vai as the main liner to get everyone movin, then BAM comes joe the ultimate headliner opening his set with my most favorite satch song of all time ICE 9. dude i seen you for the first time in cleveland this year and i was totally blown away, i wanted to see you about 8 years ago in pittsburgh on a g3 tour but im a truck driver and was not able to get home for the show, so i was anxiously waiting and when i got there there was me my (cuz) who taught me how to play back in 88 along with this son who we all help out, and then there was bill my cuz's teacher form back in the late 70's so there was literetly like 3 teachers of blues in one car going to see one of the best guitarists of all time. the single most memory in music in my life other thas going to see les paul perform at the hall of fame in cleveland with my cuz and got to shake his hand. those were my most memorable concerts ever and i seen alot of shows. thanks, shawn in ohio

Al, I don't care about the signature model... I care about a good guitar, with good pickups, good neck, with a piezo pickup and just overall good quality... What was the last time you bought a guitar with those features? That's all I'm saying... I'd buy a 7 string JP in a heart beat...

Just don't like U2, just cause im from the same country means i gotta like em!
but i do like enya alrite, who doesn't!!?
and ive never played a guitar as comfortable as my strat that i have, its the best guitar for me at the moment, my ibanez rg just makes it hard to play the instrument, even though it was about 10 times more the cost... good quality doesn't necessary mean good playability with a good feel i guess!

This is good, give it a few minutes to get going though: Pib and Pog.
ibanez_god: '...fortunately I own both...' You just made a lot of people very jealous...:)
And since we're on the subject. I own 2 guitars and a bass. Both of which can be seen here. I must say, I tried out a £1300 Musicman whilst looking for the most recent purchase and thought the RG sounded better. I would still kill (well, maim) for a genuine 60's Strat. Keep on dreaming eh?

Hi Joe, hi satchland, hope everybody is ok despite these critical economic days.
I'm currently very busy & don't get time to stop here..
I know i have The T2JSinfonie to bring to a final point, & it's comin'.. i will contact each members of the project soon to send to them the cd.
Other point, i just finished to produce my first cd. It's called Dirty Jeans, & it's a bluesrock instrumental album. The cd is not yet available because the sinfonie will come first. But you can check onto sounclick
6 of its 13 songs.
One, Blue After Blue is freedownload.
Love to my friends.. i don't forget them even if i'm far.

you're not gonna post this message because you're a bunch of dumbasses, but here it goes anyway. Joe Satriani is a blood sucking leach. He's so concerned with making money he didn't earn that he doesn't even realize how big of a retard he looks like trying to sue one of the greatest bands thats ever played music on this earth. Give it up man, you're a washed-up NEVER-WAS!!!!!
You're just making a royal ass of yourself in front of the whole world.
SNATCH IS A GREEDY GOLD DIGGER. He will never get a dime out of Coldplay so maybe he should sue someone else for no reason or, I don't know........Shut the hell up!!!!
Look, I mean no disrespect to anyone, and I will disappear off this site after this message. I just don't understand why Joe and his fans feel its necessary to make threats about Coldplay. They have repeatedly said they didn't rip off the song. I have no problem with Joe, his music, or his fans...HONESTLY!!!
Okay, sure, I can easily see where you meant and gave no disrespect whatsoever, uh huh....sure.
Apology not accepted dude, and it's just as well you move along. You've come into Joe's house and totally disrespected him with your 12-year old tantrum over your favorite band. No one came to your house and told you Coldplay was crap. I don't care about them either way, I'm sure they're great and have totally devoted fans too, just like Joe does. You get no sympathy here David Finn. As to people making threats against Coldplay, I'm sorry that's happened and that's totally ridiculous for anyone to do....but do you think Joe has any control over that?? HE'S not the one making threats, if that's what's happening. That would be another rabid fan doing that...someone who doesn't have a lick of sense in their own heads.
This issue will be decided in the courts where it belongs. Joe has the right to pursue this, despite Coldplay patting him on the head and saying, "you're wrong, there's a good boy, now run off and play somewhere else". None of us here can be the judge and jury...but we can be supportive of this event and wait to see how it plays out in the end. No one wishes badly towards Coldplay...well, at least I don't. And I happen to love Joe, not only for his music but for the genuinely great person he is. He's standing up for himself and what he believes is just....and it's right for him to do so. Coldplay can do the same from their side...and we'll all see what happens.
Now, believe it or not David, no disrespect intended from this to you....but I call it as I see it and you came and shit in Joe's house. Clean it up and move on.....and go have a good life.

Hey everyone,
I had my 5K Run (First Points Race) last Saturday. There were about 230 runners in that run and I came in 18th overall and I was second in my age division, so I got a small medal for that. The time was 18:58. After that, I had work and we were busy. One of the workers did not show up so I had to do his tables as well as room service, which was a little hectic.
Guess what guys? Yesterday, Buckcherry and Avenged Sevenfold checked in at our hotel at the Holiday Inn. How awesome is that!? They even gave out extra tickets for us to go see them as well as Papa Roach and Saving Abel, which I kindly accepted one. YEAH!!! The concert is tonight at the Memorial Coliseum and I can't wait.
Did you guys hear about the story of Rihanna and Chris Brown? They were suppose to be at the Grammys, but they weren't. What happened was that Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna when they had an argument. What a stupid and wrong thing he did to her. He should suffer the consequences big time. Now a couple of our radio stations here in Fort Wayne are banning any music from Chris Brown. Advice for everyone: DO NOT ASSAULT PEOPLE!!!
Prayers to Rihanna and I hope that she gets better. I enjoy her music. The music I like are Joe Satriani, Maroon 5, and now Rihanna.
Zinc Master: When is the Valpo-Mini? I might be interested in doing that. It depends on my work schedule and my other running races.
Do the Stu: How are things going with you?
SuperDaveMcCarthy: How are you, the band, and the whole family doing?
Maritime: Welcome back, my friend. Like the Italian's Boy Confession story. My running is coming along well.
Skippygirl: Nice job on getting the black Fender acoustic. How are things going for you? Running is going well for me. My next run won't be until the middle/late March (a 20K Run).
Michelle: How is your pop and family doing? Hope you are doing well.
Cheese 101: TRACIE, YOU GO GIRL!!! However, please don't leave us. I'll miss chatting with you. I agree with you on everything and these threats and mocks should be put to an end once and for all. My story for Valentine's Day is that I had that 5K Run and I had to work Valentine's Day. I ended up doing double-duty (room service & serve) because one of the workers was not able to show up. Overall, It turned out good.
GoldenGirl2: Hey there my friend! How are you and Steve doing? Don't let your emotions get the best of you now. You are a strong woman!!! Did you, by any chance, get more rain? By the way, U2's music is good. Did you hear their new song at the Grammys? I think it was cool.
Satriella: Hey there! How are things going with you? I hope you are doing well.
Blue_Moon: Eddie Money is not that bad. I have a couple of his songs on some of my CDs. How's your music coming along?
Igneousiceman: How are you doing man? How's the swimming or athletics going for you?
punkdude75: How's life treating you these days? By the way, I made my Oscar picks for the upcoming Academy Awards. How about you?
Ibanezplyr: How's life going for you? Hope your healing fast.
KtzA: Welcome back. I salute to you!!!
Death Cube K & js1200js1000: Another day closer until the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Canada. I can't wait!
Guitarman77897: Thank you for the information about the VOX Time Machine. How are things going with you?
Anibur: Thank you for the update about Chickenfoot. How are things in London? I was wondering, are you near Wimbledon by any chance? I'm a fan of watching tennis and I enjoy seeing Wimbledon on television.
Sporlan8: Hi and welcome to the fan site. How long have you been doing instrumental rock?
To all the other T2Jers: Hope you all are doing well. As for myself, it's the usual: Work, running, family, etc.
Well, I gotta run. I got a couple more things to do before the concert. I'll let you know how it all went. I will talk with you all later. Keep in touch guys. See ya!
