Cappy, thanks. Maybe I'm a Leo ;-)

punkdude, my son just turned 17 in October. I think I'd die if something so horrible happened to him - or my 20 yr old daughter. It would just be so unbearable. The Travolta's seemed like they were very close with their kids. So sad.

anibur, save the laptop, use a frying pan ;- )

GGirl, I have times when I'm on the site a lot, like over the winter when it's cold. I do blow-bys on my way through the house. I don't even sit in my chair sometimes, just check the site, maybe post, and go on about my bidness in the house. Sometimes I stop, drop, and roll on here for way to long. If I had a laptop, y'all would be in trouble. lol!

Anyways...nice vid.

Al McKenna--Thank you for the Champagne? to bring in the New Year--Sonic "Champagne?" is my favorite kind. I know you think I'm a luni. I'm just trying to fit in with the rest of the T2Jers and yet still be me--It's a balance. I still think you and marchbank and Campbell must be related in one way or another ;-)

Michelle and Tracie--You have twisted my arm enough for me to admit--Joe Satriani is very good looking! Now I said it and I'm blushing! I also think his music is too compelling to overlook---there's the beauty.

Have a good night, Satchland!!

GoldenMilli ;-D

Slans--You and Al and Campbell make this page fun. That sounds painful about the gerbil!! Yikes!!! And plastic surgeons? You guys crack me up!! lmao!!!

Michelle--Sorry to hear the news about John Travolta's son. Life is so precious. I hope someone picks up the son's standard and defies his death by going ahead with life plans/dreams similar to the teenager's. That would be in line with what Joe did when Jimi Hendrix died. What a tribute! Thank you, Joe for having the foresight to pick up Jimi's standard and go with it! Moving music to greatness!!

GoldenMilli ;-)

Cube>exactly big name brands capitalizing on & exploiting eastern people t get ahead without realizing in actual fact they are being taken over

Cappy>ok t be correct Daewoo is built n supplied in South Korea=East=piss poor quality materials with the exception of some Japanese manufacturers

One look at the chinese milk prob indicates just how heartless this machine has become, bad enough killing off your people worse still knowing it will make kids seriously ill or worse

Cheap crap, what a great topic.
My place of employment just bought something like 10000 trolleys from a Chinese company. They could buy 2 for the price of 1 Aussie made trolley and that includes shipping them over.
Due to OH&S issues all the casters have to be replaced because to many wheels have collapsed.
The trolley is designed to hold a crate of bread so on the top of the frame is a rail designed to lock the crate into place. Due to poor welding, 85% of these rails are higher than the specs.
So now we have a trolley, that a stack of crates can easily fall off,(we're talking over 300 loaves of bread per trolley) and if your lucky enough to dodge that, you can count on the wheels collapsing.
It will now cost the same amount againg to have them all fixed. Oh! the guy that made the call to get them................gone

maritime....you're right. Yellowstone is nothing more than a giant bomb long overdue to explode. If you ever visit the park, it is very unnerving to hear the super-heated water only a few dozen feet underneath you booming and exploding.

I had a Korean ex once - she seemed quality at the time but she didn't last as long as i expected her to either.

My Japanese ex was much more reliable - kept going for years without any warranty issue whatsoever. I had 4 ex Japanese and I would always recommend to anyone.

My Thai ex - turned out she was a man - JUST KIDDING. Good, honest but cheaply put together.

My indonesian ex - solid, robust and had a lot of bells and whistles but the engine was flawed.

Now my Filipino wife - she is the best. Unfortunately I wouldn't trust her to turn on the TV and get it right. Just poor on the technology front but makes up for it in reliability.

OMG - if only I were joking.

Roy - Under warranty? I bet you can recover direct from the HDD by taking it to a shop. You always do this to gear!
