Strewth y'self Joe Satrini, youse must think us a right-royal mob o' dingbats to talk like that! You can't think us that uneducated - bloody pom! :)
Yes, it will be well worth the wait. One guitar is with the artist, the second arrives some time next week to them. Then I just have to sit tight and wait for the magic to arrive.
I'm not in a hurry, I've got 4 other guitars to play with in the mean time (actually, 7 if you include my bashed up acoustic and noodle guitars).
Now I just gotta work out how to play!!!! :)

Amp question - I have always used combo amps. So now I'm looking at getting a cabinet. My question is, can your pedals be plugged in to the cabinet without a head amp? I don't really have the money to get the head and cab.

hybes: you'll need an amp to drive the speakers in the cab. You may well be able to use the amp in your combo. My little Laney LC50 drives my JSX cab a treat. It sounds awesome (but it's not quite in the same league as my JSX head, for obvious reasons). You just have to make sure you get the impedance matched correctly otherwise you might fry your amp.
Not sure what to make of that Chickenfoot sound byte. I wonder if it's part of an actual track or if it's just a bit of studio tomfoolery? Hmmm...

Dont matter what the brand is if a man has anger issues help should be sought
dont ever blame it on the bottle!
In Spain alone last year over 110 women were battered t death by men. John Lennon once quoted women as "The Niggers of the World" which stirred up mayhem at the time, fact is he was right because "for the most part" woman are the ones that put up with the crap n pick up the pieces when it all goes pearshaped & so ffs....RESPECT!!!
I,m not of course saying you are of that particular brand of man Darren..Stella goes down ok for me unless i meet a wifebeater that is

loll and Ibanez_God - Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking. I didn't think that you would have enough power to go straight from the pedals to the cab. I do still have my combo amp. I like the combo amp, but the better I get at playing the more I want to try different sounds and do more things than a combo will do. I have been putting together a collection of stomp boxes and think I'm ready to get rid of the combo. I might try to pull that amp apart. Now, when you talk about matching the impedance...how do you change it if its not correct?
I guess if worse comes to worse I could buy a cheaper cab and head. I think Marshal makes one for 500 or so. I'll give it a shot....thanks.
As to the opening lick of that chickenfoot track??? My personal opinion is that it sounds like that song was right about to explode into a huge opening. I can hear it in my head exactly the way the drums, guitar and bass kick in....can't wait to hear how close or how far off I am.
