Good Morning Satchland.....What Up Peeps?

Man, I'm so far behind on the posts. I've ben' crazy busy.

Max Cady Band recently recorded/mixed the Blues Classic "Born In Chicgo" by Paul Butterfield in my studio. We've entered a local contest where Chicago bands pick a cover song from a provided list to be included on a movie about The Chicago Cubs. This is our entry and we threw up a video camera just to document the recording. We did this in one take and it came out great. Looking at this vid I didn't realize how much Joe was in this vid. Meaning our SWTA mural is in the background, I'm wearing Joe's tour shirt from SBM, and I'm playing through my JSX head. The only thing missing is.....Joe. Well, you can't have everything but I'm very happy with what I have....lol.... Let me know what you think.

Hey Everyone,

Time for me to communicate with you all. I got today off so I try to get things caught up as usual (paying rent, cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, etc.) I have been writing down a number of races that I might be doing this year. About three or four of them are marathons. There are also some 5K's, 10K's, Half-Marathons, etc.

Speaking of marathons, I had this weird but cool idea. I thought about running at least one marathon on each of the seven continents. What do you think? It has happened before by a few people.

The weather is starting to get colder again. We are going to be getting hit with snow as well as temperatures below zero this week.

SuperDaveMcCarthy: Congratulations on your audition. I hope you get the gig with the "Swing Dogs". You're not bringing the Satchurator? I think you should man.

Igneousiceman: The reason why watches aren't allowed is because this is a "Prediction Time". Therefore, we have to predict the time we are going to run it in. We have to pick the time first, and then run the race. Watches aren't allowed because if anybody wears one, that will be cheating and result in a disqualification. I don't play, but I did sing, but I lost it when I was getting into my teens. I'm trying to get it back. I like to sing and dance. LOL.

I couldn't believe it was 73 degrees F here yesterday and they said it was going to be about the same today. This is more like the beginning of summer! Old man winter where are you??????????????
