How's everyone doing? Been a long long time. I've been killing myself trying to put together a theory and technique book that is more usefull and straight forward than the glut of junk that is currently out. Also, I just finished doing some interesting sessions. I've been playing on a british invasion type album called "The Wurms." Check it out here CLICKME!!!! I had to play a bunch of different old guitars that had seen better days haah! It was one of this first times I'd been asked to play "bad like the kinks" haah! I played on all tracks except for 1,3 and 6. I think track 4 is a real standout. It has a Pretenders feel. I'd love to know how everyone is doing.

I work at a newspaper, so one of my favorite females that I'll share here is.........French journalist/TV news anchor Melissa Theuriau.

Here's a picture
and another
and another
and another
and 37 more...

She was hugely popular on Mike Portnoy's forum a few years ago, but I'm not sure if people here have seen her.

You're welcome.

cosmic_ape - Cool...definitely let me know about the gig. Ritchie Kotzen and George Lynch are also on the bill, if you didn't know...I guess it's kind of a junior G3.
OCPS470 - Hi Chris...great to hear from you! I'll check your music out, definitely...thanks for the link.
Skippygirl - Hmmm...I've never heard of Megan Gale until now. Has she been in anything I might have seen here in the US?
maritime - Your lowercase "m" confused me...at first I thought your post with the guitar girl links was from michelle, and I was scratching my head. Haha...
Listening to: Liquid Trio Experiment 2 - When The Keyboard Breaks: Live In Chicago (current song: Close Encounters Of The Liquid Kind)

This is an excellent album...recorded live in Chicago on Liquid Tension Experiment's tour last year. Jordan's rig went down so the rest of the band jammed for an hour or so. You can get this through Ytsejam Records.

...Austin...

Ibanez_deity: Good point, I tried a Studio though and didn't like it...Also, I prefer the more original ones Gordon Smith does, like the Graduate Slimline. Not that cheap when you compare them to a Studio though. How will the price compare the whole currency drop thing I wonder?

Since we're still on the subject, if I had 'the money', I would probably buy one of these: Tyler Studio Elite HD. Or maybe go the whole hog and get a nice 50's Les Paul. Or maybe even a 1956 Strat. I'll stop now...:)

Something you may well not have seen: Page, eat your heart out.

Not listening to anything

Do The Stu - Megan Gale is filming the next Wonder Woman movie - she is an Australian model who actually made it big in Italy for several years before Australia.

gee - wish there was some news re Chickenfoot or G3 tours - I need to plan out my 2009 and 2010.

HEY HEY HEY.....how's we all doing?

Igneousiceman - haha that cat / fire/ football joke made me laugh my socks off!

Glitzman - Wow...18th out of all that lot...well done and 2nd in your age group...(which is what?) you should be proud of yourself. How many points did you get then?I love Holiday Inns...they are great, used to stay in them quite often. My son loves Avenged Sevenfold, he would be well impressed if I was allowed to talk to him.

Do the Stu/ Skippygirl - The sky was much better in real life....it always frustrates me when taking pictures like that...they dont even come close to the real thing, must need a special camera to actually capture properly.

hrblock - hehe yeah I am sure the list could go on and on and on....ever read the darwin awards

http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/

An example....

A 50-year-old man was bird hunting in Upstate New York with his buddies and his faithful canine companion. They stopped for a smoke, and his dog found a deer leg bone! The man tried to take the bone away, but like any right thinking dog, the animal would not relinquish its treasure. He stayed just out of reach. Frustrated with this blatant show of disobedience, the man grabbed his loaded shotgun by the muzzle and began wielding it like a club. Each time he swung it, the dog dodged.

Suddenly the "club" struck the ground and fired, shooting the man in the abdomen. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries. He did remain conscious long enough to confirm this account to police; otherwise, his poor friends might now be under suspicion!

At least he didn't hit the dog.

hugs Satriella xx
