NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Exxon Mobil reported the largest annual profit in U.S. history Friday, making $45.22 billion on the back of record oil prices.
But Exxon's quarterly profit fell over 33%, as crude prices dropped precipitously in the last quarter as recession spread through the globe.
Exxon (XOM, Fortune 500), the world's largest publicly traded oil company, made $7.82 billion in the fourth quarter on revenue of $84.7 billion. On a per share basis, the company made $1.55, beating analysts' estimates of $1.45 a share.
Exxon's annual profit beat the previous record - $40.61 billion - set by the company in 2007.
The company reported total revenue in 2008 of over $477 billion, giving the company a profit margin of about 9%. That's in line with other manufacturing industries, and far below the margins seen in other sectors, such as tech.

Hey everyone, cool new photos webby... but I got just one problem.
I was at the Athens Hellenikon and the pictures that are in the album for that venue aren't correct.
My Proof
I was there and I snapped this picture from just a few feet away from Joe...and he's wearing a very very different shirt as you can tell...
I can provide more photos if you wish, but I think your little photo-arranger-fella got some photos mixed up....I never saw Joe change shirts either.
Plus in this compilation of videos I shot there I have various tidbits from alot of songs, and he never changes shirts...
I'm not angry...but just curious what happened.
Thanks
WhammyFreak

Hi everyone...I know I've been away for the past month or so...I've been sick and dealing with some other stuff that I'll probably get around to sharing eventually... I just wanted to stop by here again, I guess to give me a place to start reading from...
I just saw the Chickenfoot teaser site, by the way...very cool! :-)

Webmaster:
Just a suggestion, but I check the T2J from various computers and it appears the last read message number is stored in a cookie on the client, which means I re-read everything 3 or 4 times.
Can I suggest you store the last read with the profile on the site? That way when we move between computers it remembers the last one read, not just the last one read on a particular computer.
Thanks,
Awesome job with the photos BTW.

Slan, I've said that prayer at least 100x since Nov. 4th.
Matt, send it back! lol! Same thing happened to my son's xbox. They sent it back in nice condition. Call Microsoft and ask for a box to ship it, then you hafta wait about a month for it to come back. Have fun with that! lol!
Got my ticket to see Disturbed in April. YEAH!!!!

Webmaster Jon, and Mark....thanks for putting up the photos, it's nice to be able to go back and re-live the good times a little :) One thing I noticed is....that darn Joe never seems to age!! Fit as a fiddle I tells ya!
Glitz Man, I have responded to you, I think you just missed it...that and the fact that I think I call you glitzy :) I'm just okay...kinda in a deep funk right now but still hafta plug along every day. It just is what it is. Sounds like you're doing well.
Chelle, that's the best news ever about your pops...I'm really happy for him, and you and fambly honey! As to Wall Street...I don't think we're going to be as willing to shovel them out again anytime soon, unless they show us where the money is gonna go and are held accountable for every dime. Gad DAMN that makes me furious!! I work my BUTT off every gad damn day and pay taxes upon taxes...just like everyone else. F*ckin irresponsible dick-wads...I can only hope it bites em in the ass sooner or later. Oooo can I join you on yer walk???? I think we'd need to do at least a 1000 miles fer my steam to work it's way out....
I believe in Obama's heart and desire and will to help us fix the mess we're in....we just gotta give the man a chance to see it through. It's gonna take time.
Oh, and yeah...DISTURBED....fits right in with how I'm feeling....lol....but good on ya chelle....just don't mosh too hard, we need u in one piece eh?
Somehow I think my life would be so much simpler if I wuz a kitteh......of course, living with an owner who spoils me :)

castle49, how's yer pops, and how are you holding up?
Chee, Obama is layin' the smack down! Equal pay for women too - did you see that! That means so much to me. I had a job back in the day where this guy got a .75 cent raise because he got his gf knocked up. He'd stand around all day and watch me work in the shipping dept. lifting heavy boxes and writing them up to go out just trying to get a peek down my shirt. All he had to do was unload a truck when it came, which amounted to about 2 or 3 hours of work a day. He was making the same as me, and when my boss gave him a raise, I asked WHY. His answer...cause he's the man of the house now and will need more money. OMFG! Dude did shit all day!!! So then about a year later when I got pregnant, did I get a raise? Noo way man! Now maybe MY daughter will never have to deal with that same kind of bullshit. yay!!
wooo! I need to be like JP and walk it out! lmao!!

Seeing Koko reminds me of last nights's Jonathan Ross show...anyone who saw it will remember what Mr.Shatner said about that Gorilla :)
WhammyFreak: Great compilation vid...
I got a Satchurator...It really is very good, much more musical than my old set up. If you haven't got one and are wondering, stop...go out and buy one! Thanks Joe

Hi Michelle. Thanks for asking. Waiting for the lab analysis. They asked him a bunch of questions when they admitted him. Wierd, he could not remember if he was married or not. Guess he could not come up with the word "widowed". Glad my Mom is not here to see him like this.
As for myself, just trying to stay employed. My cat Fred is at the shelter being fixed and socialized. He got into trouble with the neighbor. She said he attacked her cats and her. Not really sure, as she overreacts to things. Anyhoo the shelter (ASAP in Santa Barbara) is a cool place. They are fixing him all up, teeth and everything and then we adopt him for $55. Avoiding thousands in vet bills at this point. He's been there almost three weeks! Poor guy.
