Chadley, there's a 4 year waiting period to get pictures posted. Get in line for the splurge of new pics being sent and overloading Webby's email. LOL!

Skippygirl, I think I'd rather be cold, I'm not sure. I get really short tempered when I get that hot. I can't breathe, and then I wanna hurt people. Sad but true. Don't really wanna freeze either, but at least we have blankets and - if all else fails, kerosene heaters. We actually don't even have one of those, so we'd be pretty damn cold.

anibur, Glitz, yep, my pop is holding steady - thanks!

edit - woweewoowoo! Check out the VERY NICE photos from CodePoet in Atlanta!

Glitzy - due to the air con at our office exploding with the extreme heat I stayed at home today and got a luxurious 4 hrs of guitar noodling in. I read and practice the CAGED system and learnt all the notes on the 4,5,6 strings, and did fingering exercises.

Then I googled some songs and tried Cherry Cherry (too hard) Solitary Man (too hard) and hit on Leaving On a Jet Plane which was OK despite being hard to switch between G and C. My C is getting better too.

Also learnt some sections of "Brain Damage".

Have you been chanting out loud your verbal goal for your race? Keen to see if you notice an effortless improvement in your times. Good luck in any case and if you do ever run in Australia I would definitely come to watch :0).

Michelle - yes you have a point there. Perhaps it is easier to warm up than cool down. I still find it hard to believe you guys function, go to work, school etc in snow - how would I get around in my high heels?????

Webby - love the photos thanks for that and thanks Mark whoever you are.

Hi glitzman - I is good....not sure what will happen about the divorce/finances now though as my ex has just been made redundant!

New words to think about...

TESTICULATING - Waving your arms around and talking Bollocks.

BLAMESTORMING - Sitting around in a group, discussing why a deadline was missed or a project failed, and who was responsible.

SEAGULL MANAGER - A manager who flies in, makes a lot of noise, craps on everything, and then leaves.

ASSMOSIS - The process by which people seem to absorb success and advancement by sucking up to the boss rather than working hard.

SALMON DAY - The experience of spending an entire day swimming upstream only to get screwed and die.

CUBE FARM - An office filled with cubicles.

PRAIRIE DOGGING - When someone yells or drops something loudly in a cube farm, and people's heads pop up over the walls to see that's going on. (This also applies to applause from a promotion because there may be cake.)

MOUSE POTATO - The on-line, wired generation's answer to the couch potato.

SITCOMs - Single Income, Two Children, Oppressive Mortgage. What yuppies turn into when they have children and one of them stops working to stay home with the kids or start a "home business".

STRESS PUPPY - A person who seems to thrive on being stressed out and whiny.

XEROX SUBSIDY - Euphemism for swiping free photocopies from one's workplace.

PERCUSSIVE MAINTENANCE - The fine art of whacking the crap out of an electronic device to get it to work again.

ADMINISPHERE - The rarefied organisational layers beginning just above the rank and file. Decisions that fall from the "adminisphere" are often profoundly inappropriate or irrelevant to the problems they were designed to solve. This is often affiliated with the dreaded "administrivia" needless paperwork and processes.

404 - Someone who's clueless. From the World Wide Web error message "404 Not Found," meaning that the requested document could not be located.

OHNOSECOND - That minuscule fraction of time in which you realise that you've just made a BIG mistake (e.g. you've hit 'reply all')

WOOFies - Well Off Older Folk.

CROP DUSTING - Surreptitiously farting while passing through a CUBE FARM, then enjoying the sounds of dismay and disgust; leads to PRAIRIE DOGGING.

Skippygirl, you wear your boots to wherever you're going, then when you get there, you pull yer pair of heels out of your bag, and stash yer boots, and BAM - yer as cute as a bug once again.

Slan, when I saw that press conference on TV where Obama was talking about Wall Street, I wanted to stand up and cheer. Those a-holes have big brutha watching them now!!! LOL! I really hope he curbs all the excess bullshit they've been getting away with for years. All those corporate pukes too! The gov't gave them billions to bail them out. What did they do, they made sure they got their HUGE bonuses! I'm talking one bonus pay for one guy is more than I will ever see in a lifetime of working. They didn't put the money back into the companies for business purposes like they were supposed to, they put it straight into their pockets - and WE paid for it! We paid for the company cars, the huge vacations they take - not just one guy goes - he takes 12 members of his family, the company jets, the "business dinners - and we're losing our jobs, homes, health care, savings, and the American dream goes right down the toilet. As long as it doesn't effect jokers like Bush and the good ol' boys - it's business as usual. They refuse to see what their greed has done.

Ohhh, now I gotta go walk it off! lol!

Glitz Man--I've been busy playing my guitar, working, taking care of my Steve, keeping the house up and tryin to keep me healthy. Sorry if I haven't written to you of late. So much goin on.

Webmasters Jon and Mark--Thank you for sending us your message about the pictures. So much in life to do and so little time. I mean, we all need our sleep and quiet times.

Maritime--You are between England and Deuschland, with only the North Sea between your country and England. That's quite a unique place in this world. You have had to get along with so many people from so many different countries over the centuries. If you want to bring me before the International Criminal Court for my silly upbringing (could be a crime that I was born) and any other crimes I may have committed over my 52 years on this planet go ahead. I stand before you a naked faced woman (yes....no makeup and no earrings (no piercings) and simple clothing (T shirts, jeans and ECCO shoes (no high heels, at least I want my feet to be comfortable after all these years) and will stand with my lawyer and face you and your lawyer for whatever wrongs I have done, starting with a hearing.........a woman in mourning! (What ever happened to the REAL girl with the pearl earring?)

Michelle, Tracie and McKenna--You three are a great comfort to me. So many songs to be written.

I am learning these chords Am, C, D, Em, E, G and G7. My guitar is so kind to me. My fingers are slowly yielding to practice. I am also learning to play in both directions with my right hand. Up, up, up, up.....down, down, down.

What is going on with the new group? Joe ...Sammy Hagar, RHCP drummer, and (agh!) Michael Anthony?

Sad to see Joe in such a commercial band. I would much prefer to see Satch continue to put out solo instrumental albums.

Say it aint so Joe!!

DManStrat--Joe is an experiental, instrumental, virtuoso guitarist who does what his [heart] tells him to do.

Maritime--Who is Geert Wilders? Why does he want to ban the Koran from the Netherlands? The name of the article I got this from is "Totally Tolerant, Up to a Point" in the New York Times, Friday edition. Another case or cause for the International Criminal Court in the Hague, right? Let's figure this out together. We still occupy planet earth together! What about intolerance stopping here like "the buck stops here!"

maritime:- Thank you. No one, not one person or group of people on this planet has the right to impose or, especially, enforce their beliefs(political, religious or otherwise) upon anyone. We are all, each and every one of us,entitled to believe whatever we like or want. But if you don't like the way someone else lives their life, and if their way of life is not imposing on you, then the simplest solution is to just stay away from them. We will all have to live with the consequences of our actions in the end,so we should all make our actions peaceful, not destructive.Yes,we are all entitled to freedom of speech, but not as a way to cause disruption to others.Everyone has the right to live life the way they want,be it right or wrong.Just try not to impose it upon those who don't agree with it. Anyway, that's my two cents worth.Hope it makes sense and helps others out there. C'MON AUSSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
