Dont matter what the brand is if a man has anger issues help should be sought
dont ever blame it on the bottle!
In Spain alone last year over 110 women were battered t death by men. John Lennon once quoted women as "The Niggers of the World" which stirred up mayhem at the time, fact is he was right because "for the most part" woman are the ones that put up with the crap n pick up the pieces when it all goes pearshaped & so ffs....RESPECT!!!
I,m not of course saying you are of that particular brand of man Darren..Stella goes down ok for me unless i meet a wifebeater that is

loll and Ibanez_God - Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking. I didn't think that you would have enough power to go straight from the pedals to the cab. I do still have my combo amp. I like the combo amp, but the better I get at playing the more I want to try different sounds and do more things than a combo will do. I have been putting together a collection of stomp boxes and think I'm ready to get rid of the combo. I might try to pull that amp apart. Now, when you talk about matching the impedance...how do you change it if its not correct?
I guess if worse comes to worse I could buy a cheaper cab and head. I think Marshal makes one for 500 or so. I'll give it a shot....thanks.
As to the opening lick of that chickenfoot track??? My personal opinion is that it sounds like that song was right about to explode into a huge opening. I can hear it in my head exactly the way the drums, guitar and bass kick in....can't wait to hear how close or how far off I am.

Slan, thanks hon. Darren's just lucky I wasn't drinking some "man-hater" to match his "wife-beater", or it would have been on. I let him have that one ;-) Yer a good soul Marchbank - I hope ya know that.
I miss Clarky's stories of drunken madness. They were some good ones.
Al, all yer drunken stories from the chat usually need to be deciphered by at least 2 people to figger out what the hell yer on about. It's always entertaining and funny as hell, and we do have pictures that most of Europe has seen yer arse at one time or another!
Anyways, I'm just back from a viewing of my daughter's friend's mum. Only 58 years old. She'd been battling cancer since the girls were in 7th grade - which is as long as I've known her - seven years. Her husband unexpectedly died of a heart attack on Dec. 16th. Guess the plan was for him to get there first to help her over. The family has really come together, and I know in my heart my daughter's friend, the youngest of 5, will be okay. The mum had a great sense of humor, and kept it until the end.
R.I.P. Andy
She left us all with these beautiful words on her memorial card:
Afterglow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is gone.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times, and laughing times, and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

JSPhil: The phrase came out of watching the whole Long Way Down series with Ewan McGregor, if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. Long Way Down. Hope the liddle innertube prob isn't a taste of things to come in 09! Tubeless? now that's a scary thought, although it would mean no more torn finger tips courtesy of skinny little road tyres...heaven. :)
GLitzMan: Competition hasn't happened yet, it's some time in May. I'm jsut waiting for the coachguy to get in touch...
roffler: Perfect song that...
Very nice memorial card words as well

hmmm, slan, this Buckfast sounds interesting and like it has possibilities, LOL.....not fer me of course, I'm now a total wimp when it comes to drinkin, dammit....but could be entertaining to watch others :D Mckenna comes to mind......
And I hear what u say...yer just u, it's all you can be. Don't we all have a dark side? I'm thinkin yep, definitely, but most of the time we manage to keep it under control. Mostly :)
Chelle, u know I love it when u let loose yer balls, lol!! But ahem....so yeah....
The memorial words are beautiful, and a lovely way to be remembered in this life. I hope they brought some comfort to her daughter, or will someday. Sounds like she left behind beautiful memories for all, so that's a life well-lived, even if too short. God bless her and her family and friends.
Mckenna....shaddap u. And feck off :) You do enuff drinkin fer both of us!
