Ya know, ya can never have enough Weiner. My favs are Dave's party Piece and I'm The Hell Outta Here.

scoobadoscoobadee, nothing like a little Weiner between friends. lmao!

keniko & Burly, thanks for asking. My sis is doing pretty good. I stopped in after work yesterday and took her for a walk around the block, then sat with her for about an hour and a half. She says the pain isn't to bad, but she's taking it easy. She's trying to stay active and not just lay around. They told her that would be the worst thing she could do. By "active" I mean using the steps and walking around the house a bit, as well as the occasional walk around the block. Tomorrow will be a week since her surgery. Next week she might get the stitches out. I took a phone pic of her scar when we were walking around the block so she could see what it looked like. Her hair was sticking up and I said her scar was waving to the passing traffic. I told her I could send that pic to 100 people and maybe 2 would guess what it was. We had a good laugh saying what they might guess - cigarette butts in the gutter, caterpillars on a railing - just stupid stuff, but we had a good laugh. Today after work I was toast. I had to come home and melt into the sofa, so we didn't walk today.

kt, how ya doing man? Nice tune.

For Al

Scubadaz I went snorkeling a few years back at one of Disney Worlds water parks. In the pool were Hammerheads, Tiger Sharks and stingrays. My daughter was about 10 and was pretty scared so I was trying to act brave for her and after the first trip through the length of the pool, I was hyper-ventilating. I eventually became comfortable with it and had a great time. I could reach down and touch a couple of the sharks. (4 footers)

Skippygirl Hang in there, the noise can't be worse than a beginning trumpet player. How far do you live from the wild country that we see on TV and movies? Any Crocs nearby? Now that would be scary. Not a big reptile fan.

Roo how 'bout you? wrestled any Crocs? No really Australia looks to be a beautiful land.

It was 80 degrees F. here on Tuesday. Yesterday it turned cold and today we are expecting 3-5 inches of snow. Ready to move. Arkansas has some crazy weather.

I can see that you really need to know what you are doing to SCUBA dive. Scuba Doo dive shop is here on one of the lakes. I just do not want to dive in murky water.

You know I never knew Scuba could be so dangerous. Every time I update my life insurance policy, they always ask if sky dive or scuba dive. I want to skydive one day, being somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. I am driving a race car this summer on a short oval track at up t0 160 MPH I guess it is my "bucket list". Some would call it a mid-life crisis. Call it whatever, it all sounds fun and you only go around this life once.

Burly: actually it's funny, some of the crocs are MASSIVE! Steve was a nutcase getting that close... I went to the Australia Zoo (in QLD - the one owned by the irwins) it is very cool, specially the croc show.

The funniest thing is when people from other countries come to live here. My daughter made friends with an american family who recently moved here. We were chatting and have a great laugh because they don't realise we have like 10 times more deadly common spiders and snakes and stuff. It's not uncommon to regularly hear of people being bitten, eaten or stung around here. You really do have to listen when you are told to wear long pants and firm footwear when you walk in the bushland even just across the road.

And I live 7 minutes from the centre of the city!

what with red-bellies, brown snakes, redbacks, funnelwebs, stonefish, sharks and everything else crawling and flying around here, it's almost like eat-legged freaks to get your car out of the garage.

And I'm arachnaphobic! :(

You know when Steve's program first began airing, I would get so mad at him, yelling at the TV "PIT IT DOWN". I would take it as long as I could and then change the channel. I eventually grew to like his shows and understood how great of a guy he and his family were. I can not stand snakes. Being a rice farmer, it is very common to see Cottonmouths. As long as I know where they are and can see them I am OK, but have almost hurt myself several times after nearly stepping on one. On one occasion, I fell backwards on top of one in the mud and water. We were both trying to flee one another as fast as we could, and would have probably been comical to bystanders.

Australia is on my long list of places to visit. I enjoy meeting people from other cultures. On four Disney trips I have experienced, probably the most intriguing part was all the different languages you hear just walking through the parks. I have met a lot of good people from many countries there.

burly - yes lots of great and wonderful wildlife in Oz. The crocs are mainly in the north of Australia particularly northern Queensland (heavenly blue pristine beaches...) and the Northern Territory.

Here in Victoria it's mostly the marsupials (kangaroos, wallabies etc), koalas, platypus, emus, spiders and snakes (correct me if I have missed any my fellow 'burnians) and penguins because we are on the southern coast (they're CUTE!). Growing up in the country it was mainly the tiger snakes and redback spiders to worry about so all the kids I hung out with wore boots outdoors.

Yes do put Oz on your bucket list it's a wonderful country :0).

I'm afraid I didn't get to Arkansas - I've just been to the west coast from Tijuana to Vancouver (ah backpacking days) and to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Alberta. Would love to take the kids to the US, Mexco and Canada some day.

You know it's kind of strange that most Americans will never travel outside the borders but in other countries it is very common. I never really thought about it but in some of the small landlocked countries travel outside is very common.

Travel prices are more affordable now if you are fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of it.

On the subject of Sammy playing with all of these great guitarists, I noticed how being around Edward influenced his playing style a bit. Satch will surely rub off on him a bit as well.

Arkansas actually has a lot of beautiful scenery and attractions, I live in the edge of the Ozark mountain range. I can leave my house toward the East and in 5 minutes be into the flat land which is where I farm. I grew up in the flats in the mosquitoes and mud. Finally I wised up and moved to high ground.
How 'bout the guys from th U.K., Netherlands and Mc over in Ireland? Are you guys in the city or out in the country? And Fatape I forgot about you being from down under.

Skippygirl..Mexico has become so dangerous because of the drug murders that even the popular Spring break resorts are almost deserted this year. I think I would like to visit some of the other parts maybe to the south.

On the subject of traveling outside of the country I've quite a few places I'd love to visit. I consider myself a bit of a historian and there are so many places with such great history that if I had the money I'd go visit them all. On the top of my list is Ireland, Scotland, and England. Then Vietnam and Germany. Vietnam and Germany would be for the military history. I'd like to visit the concentration camps in Germany and really all over Europe, and I'd like to see some of the tunnels that the NVA used in Vietnam.

From a paranormal standpoint those places are sure to be "haunted" maybe not actively but I'm sure that if you stand there you can get a sense of everything that went on there. I think that's something that everyone should experience at least once. Not for any morbid reason but it might hopefully make people a little more thoughtful and mindful of making sure history doesn't repeat itself.

That's just me though.

burly:- I currently live in a place called Nelson Bay,which is part of the Port Stephens area of NSW. If you are a big game fishing enthusiest you'll know all about us. For those who don't,we are the home of the oldest, longest running and biggest open water fishing tournements on the planet. Just last weekend we had some monster sharks captuered, alongside some rather large marlin. And we also have to contend with bluebottles, box jellyfish, seasnakes, stonefish and blue-ringed octopus in our waters to name a few. Yet,regardless of all the deadly critters both large and small, there is nowhere else on this planet that i would rather call home. Now, I'm off to hunt me some kangawallafoxes! Did anyone see Sammy on MTV Cribs? He was saying how private the beaches were near Cabo and his home, and I was like..Shhhh! It will be like the story they did on Montana being the last great wilderness in the U.S. Soon, city folks began moving in to get away from the hustle and bustle then began building malls and shopping centers.

scubadaz:- I personally don't condone overfishing of any species, and even if it's a world record size fish, I prefer the tag and release method.Port Stephens has one of the best fishing sanctuary and conservation program's going, though there are still some uncaring idiots out there. But the majority of people, especially the locals, are more than happy to help keep our marine ecology in good shape for future generations to enjoy.
