Hi Joe!
Can you give us any news about the 2007 G3 concert getting released on DVD? I hope it's soon. I didn't get to see you that show when you came to south Florida, but I did catch you at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, FL last year. Rockin' show!
If you can give me a yell back about the '07 G3 on DVD. I'm achin' to spend my stimulus money on it. :o)

I see an interview of Van halen talking about is new guitar i was happy in fact this is totally what i imagine he use any distortion pedal all sound come from the guitar and is amp im happy cause is my view too i have 4 pedal board but the best sound come from an good guitar and a good amps , the rest is bullshit new guitarist use too much effect i respect them but is not honest they hidding the lake of technique by effect the sound come from ure finger that s all i saw u in video using other guitars than the js and u still sounding like joe satriani thats why i never wanted to sound like others guitarist ive got my sound and im happy with it its ridiculous to looking for others guitarist sound .
So wanted to talk about Coldplay i decide to boycott them i decide to forgot there name to forgot all about them and what they done now what they wins is bullshit i follow u since flying in a blue dream i had the album and i flying with u if there are not honest enough to create its there problems but they dont have to stole or rape an other artisit like that .
So like i like joe im clear f****k coldplay that all Satchsuchmoney good week and take care !!!

I youtubed JD Fortune and listened to one of his "solo" tunes. Sounds like the same bubblegum crap they're churning out for the youngin's these days. Crap! Sad story.
Austin, so how did work go yesterday? lol! I don't know which is worse, having to do physical work or mental work when yer so tired. I think I'd rather do physical work. At least you can wake yerself up by moving around. Sitting in one spot is a recipe for disaster. lol! Hope it went well. AND, you got Sammy tix, so that should have jacked you up a bit! I love Sammy!
Pip, that should have been Slash at #3, then Page and Hendrix. Page and Hendrix were pioneers ffs! Saul is good, but I think even Eddy was more of a pioneer - so maybe Slash should have been #4? lol! WAIT, Joe needs to be up there too, so I guess Saul is #5. lol!

yeah chelle, I saw the other links....3 songs on that Unplugged show...Joe even plays the blender, lol....
I have a cooking show on and the guy is barbequing...wonder if Joe ever mans the BBQ....or if it's too dangerous for his hands to get near hot coals and fire!! He's on fiyah when he plays, but I'm thinkin not such a good idea away from the guitar, lol!
There's a ton of grounds at the bottom of my coffee cup ffs....bleh....awake in the middle of the night on a Friday/Saturday...that's not on!

JSPhil: The nearest I get to bikes like those is salivating over them (metaphorically) in shops. Speaking of whic, just got hold of a nice pair of Shimano shoes. Simple, but a good pair of shoes really makes riding easier. I bet Lance is just doing 'ok' to lull everyone into a false sense of security before the summer...

maritime, I could watch Jeff all day. It's those dimples.... oh yeah, it helps that the drums are my fav too. Can't forget that part. lol!

andy of uk / Pip Satrini - I doubt there are any serious bad feelings between Satch and Jeff Beck. Joe continually mentions in interviews that he'd love to have Jeff Beck do a G3 tour but it never quite works out. I think he said it was close for G303.
Pip Satrini - I'm a big Slash fan, but I'm always surprised when I see him ranked higher on top guitarist lists than his biggest influences...people like Jimmy Page or Joe Perry.
I'll admit I don't know much about current popular music, but are there a bunch of guitarists in new rock bands out there who credit Slash as an influence? For example, I hear a lot of Joe Perry in Slash, but I don't hear a lot of Slash in anyone...am I just not looking in the right place?

slanshroom - Those drum samples sound great...wow. Let us know when you get a song together using that stuff...
courtney2018 - The G307 tour wasn't filmed, but a show from Joe's PSATMOR tour last year will be out on DVD at some point.
michelle - Work actually went really well yesterday...I wasn't tired at all. I even went to a party for a few hours after. I don't know how I got by on just 3 1/2 hours of sleep, but I did. I won't question it. ;-)
And Mike Portnoy's In Constant Motion DVD is excellent...enjoy!
Igneousiceman - Cheap Trick are great live...they have a lot of fun up there. And last time I saw them when Rick played the five-neck, he only made it through four of them by the time the song had ended...haha.

Maritime - Good Vids on Jeff. I have always wondered what the headphones are that he wears during concerts. They are definately not the ultrasone's he was talking about. Any idea what they are? I noticed a while back that he tried to use the UE10's I think but I guess that wasn't good.

Michelle: Joe should get Jeff to do his dishes. I seem to recall seeing a video of Jeff sticking his hands into a pretzel jar of hot water before going on stage. Unlike Joe, Jeff doesn't care about his fingers being too soft for calluses?
It Is Stu Not Moo: breaking into a tight-knit group like a band that's been around for a while is rare, so I wasn't really expecting him to last very long.
