I like the feel and the kick-ass factor of "Soap" better... well, I'm off to a well deserved nap!!! I just finished a long weeks of finals @ M.I. and I am exhausted... Start making your setlists, kids...
I vote for bringing "Motorcycle Driver" back... talk about an ass kicking riff...

Hi Joe!
Im from a beutifull country known as New Zealand. I saw you perform at a guitar festival held in New Plymouth last year and man you rocked!!!!! ( OVERDRIVER WAS SO COOL!!! ) I started playing guitar at the age of 6 and got serious about the Instrument at the age of 9. An Uncle of mine introduced me to the Surfing with the Alien album and after hearing that i was hooked and there was no going back or giving up i wanted to know everything about the guitar and understand the language it spoke. For 23 years now ive been trying to understand how you could bring so much joy and emotion to your playing, im mean just a slide or a bend can have such an impact on someone and listening to A love Eternal did wounders for me emotionally. Im guessing my Question from me to you is......How do you do it? I understand that the Great Jimi Hendrix had such a big influence on you and yourve tried so hard not to copy him but it just keeps coming out, i wish i could play just like you not to the extent of being a copy cat or anything but just to go and find out where you go when your playing the guitar what drives you to create such beutifull music because i really love your stlye and artistry. Thanks for listing to my carrying on and wish to see more of you in our country... SOON PLEASE ahhaha. take C are

Just listened to the 2 new tracks also. I have to say though, as much as I hate it, is that it's basically VH with Joe playing AWMAWY/Raspberry Jam Delta V - Satriani Live! jam at the end, haha (Soap On A Rope).
I did think that was the sound I was going to get.
I may be a dedicated Joe fanatic, and I will always love his work, but I have to be realistic and say that what I've heard of Chickenfoot isn't breaking any new ground a la momente.
PROVE ME WRONG, JOE!

I'ma smack yer bumzie missie, don't think not!!!! You can't run fast enuff, OR far enuff to escape the wrath of the cheese....even if it's frickin OLD cheese.....I know where u live!!
lol....I was wondering today, if when he turned 50, it had any impact on Joe other than just another birthday. He was prolly so busy anyway...but the people around him I'm betting made it a celebration :) Everyone keeps saying to me "oooooohhhh, this is the BIG ONE!!"
Well....what makes 50 any different really from 49, 51 or 27? It's the anniversary of the day I first caused me poor lil mum a LOT of pain, lol.....pain in the ass, so to speak, right from the very beginning :) Birthdays should be a time to celebrate the mums!!
