My sister has a lifesaving tool in her car it's designed to cut through a seat belt if she gets trapped.

She keeps it in the trunk.

???????

While working at a pizza parlour I observed a man ordering a small pizza to go.

He appeared to be alone and the cook asked him if he would like it cut into 4 pieces or 6.

He thought about it for some time before responding.

'Just cut it into 4 pieces; I don't think I'm hungry enough to eat 6 pieces.'

Good place for it, huh - in the trunk, ha ha ha

Ignore the coldplay guy - easier that way.

He will burn himself out and go away, again.

To GoldenGirl2: You spoke truth when you said Grammys don't really mean shit. And I'll also buy your story about the 'Torch' being passed from Hendrix to Joe...sure. Chris Martin is also an amazing Selfless musician. He doesn't like the spotlight that comes with success either. The dude has been doing basically all the writing for his band since their first album and continues to credit the entire band equally on every single song. He believes in the purity of music and has brought a great deal to the table when it comes to lyrical content, arrangements, and unique guitar tunings. Joe has an amazing gift and respect for music, but so does Chris. He would not, and did not rip off Viva.

Do The Stu: Sure thing; I'll pop in to check to see if Joe has whispered anything to us aswell, haha!

Igneousiceman: Haha, slick choice on NZ, it's a beautiful place that unfortunately lots of NZers don't get out and see, myself included. But meeting up with a whole lot of travelling friends & family has really inspired me to check out my own country; p'raps when I get back.

TROLLGARDEN:-You maybe right about the Grammies, coz Coldplay got diddly squat at the British Music Awards, which I found rather funny, with Chris and co. actually being snubbed by there own.And while Chris believes in "purity in music" he has also, on several occasions admitted to plagiarising other peoples music,so accordingly, the word "purity" in any dictionary will have to be edited to include;"meaning to plagiarise". Personally,I think hypocrasy sucks.Just ask Chris!!!!! C'MON AUSSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone watched the certifiable Blue Ray from the Police? Wow!! Very awesome. Well, if you liked the Police that is. Its the first concert I have watched that had TrueHD sound. Very nice indeed.

By the way Troll. Don't get overly confidant about the award that Coldplay just won...not yet anyway. I seem to recall a couple of French guys with long hair that decided to lip sync some songs that were sung by 2 US Army guys in Germany....they won an award, and then.....oh, it was taken away!!! Remember them from your history books...yes....Milli Vanilli. If your boy had such a clear cut victory...why didn't his attorney accept service in England? You know, if I took the main riff from Satch Boogie and threw some horns and lyrics over the top of it...you know what I'd get? Satch Boogie. Sorry Buddy. But we all appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to grace Joe's sight with your thoughts.

Matt--Congratulations on gettin' your license! Does this mean you could be a designated driver? I am a designated driver and it's worked out pretty well, except when someone pukes in my car--nasty! Oh, well. There's always bleach, iodine and white vinegar to get it out.

Al McKenna--- What a loaded pedal board you have!--nice equipment. Do you also have a power conditioner to cut out noise? They have those components for Stereophiles like my Steve and me for our power amp and combo control amp and tuner. We are upgrading our stereo-surround system to get into digital and 21st century technology.

Now that's what I call a piece of music.

@Justin G, have you got Fear of a Blank Planet? Awesome album.

@Mark H: So that's a thumbs-up for the Police DVD then. I'll try to get hold of a copy as soon as I can. Was going to take in a Wembley show but then couldn't make it. Waaa... The DVD should go some way to filling the void.

@Al McK: Nice job on the pedal board. How is the DC-brick? I'm thinking of getting one. It sounds just the job for my collection of BOSS pedals, wah, and a fantastic early Ibanez Phaser that I'm borrowing.

Right now my favoritist, funnest guitar tone from my JS1000 is using the bridge pick-up, tone turned almost right down, volume backed off a tad (experiment here) and then the treble bleed capacitor engaged (even with the treble rolled off by the tone pot, this seems to let a bit of high-end back in again). With the JSX on lead channel and with the gain over half-way the sound is dreamy. Awesome for power chording too. Add effects to taste. Lovely jubbly.
