Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well. I have been busy with work and running. I put in about 1 hour of the elliptical (hill training) after my last post. I ran for 2 hours and 20 minutes yesterday and put in about 18 miles. Now my legs are hurting really bad. Hopefully they will be better tomorrow when I go back to work. I also got to celebrate my niece's birthday and that went really well. She turned 4 years old and was happy with everything.

As for my birthday, well, it was not what I expected. My friends wanted to take me out and I wanted to go to the bar I like to go to (close to downtown), but they didn't want to and we end up going to some other bar that is about a few miles away. To sum it all up, I was not able to get my Mojito, a couple of my friends started arguing and fighting with each other, and I end up driving home two of my other friends home because they were too tired and drunk. I was not happy to what they did for me. The only thing that was good was that I was smart and the others were acting stupid and dumb. They owe me big time!

All right, time to get caught up again!

Zinc Master: How's it going? I am resting my legs for the next few days. I put in quite a bit of running yesterday. Still thinking about Valpo. Not to certain if I will be able to do it or not.

Do the Stu: How's it going? I hope work is getting better for you. I am thinking about getting a second job. I do have a couple places lined up.

Skippygirl: How's it going with you? As for my birthday, I was not able to get my Mojito, but I will soon. My friends owe me one. My birthday was not the best for me, but I tried to keep cool and positive as best I can. Anyway, my next run is coming up in three weeks. Hope my leg pain will stop soon.

JS1200JS1000--I didn't mean to but in. Just wanted to say hi and wish ya well. ;-)

Millie, Chris is fine. He just turned 21 and had a good birthday, I've delivered him home safe and sound, he's gotten all his new stuff set up and organized so he's a happy camper :) I've mentioned it here before, but it was before your time I think...Chris has Aspergers Autism, OCD and anxiety so he has some challenges. We just have to take it a day at a time, and when things get rough, we take it a minute at a time. He lives in a developmental disability foster home about 2 hours away from me, one way....so we talk on the phone every day and I see him at least once a month. And now that he's back in his home again....I miss him. He always leaves behind a hole here in my house when he's gone and I have to let some tears go each time. It never gets any easier...but he's doing okay, and is mostly happy, and that's what's most important to me. At least while he's here there is life in this house. He'll be back in 3 weeks for my birthday weekend. I was going to totally ignore it, but my mom brought it up to him and of course he wants to come home to help celebrate. So I guess that's what we'll do.

Glitz....things are okay, happy birthday, if I forgot to say it this past week. Sorry things didn't turn out the way you'd hoped...sometimes friends can be a pain in the butt eh? You should do something very special next year for your 25th.

Alan....you have about 5 more years on yer current kidneys and liver honey, then yer in trouble. Maybe slow it down just a tetch?? If you do, I'll make u tons of sammitches :) Or even buy you Chinese food next time I see you.

GuitarMatt---Congratulations on your license and new job. What a couple of dreams come true. Well don't let anyone tell you, you don't deserve it. You do your best now at driving and working and things will turn out well for you and yours. Way to go, man!!

Hey Glitzy - no Mojito? What? Hmmm... ..you should have had birthday-boy priority pick of the bars, that's your privilege! They also sound like fightin' boys you hang out with! Brings back memories of the Pier Hotel circa late 70's (I was very underage like 15 but nobody ever checked back then) - had to dodge the broken glass and flying punches while watching Cold Chisel in the upstairs section. Where I come from that's the most important skill a teenage girl learns :0). Carpet used to squelch under your feet.

But not a fun way to celebrate your birthday - never mind, get a good mate over tomorrow night and pour yourself a nice Mojito and put on some Satch music, and there you go! That's what Out Of The Sunrise is for :0)

sad guitar happy - wow you been playing a while. I like everything of Joe's - very hard to pick a favourite. Did you see Joe last July in Melbourne?
