Cube - just wondering, given your ability to conjur up original stuff, what made you suddenly cover Smiley Miley Cyrus? As in, of all the things you could have covered what was the inspiration for that?

Blue Moon - ha, yes, the ID thing in Reno. Funny for everyone else : ) Pedal board looks nice. Is it set to the under side of a flight case lid? Also, what are the valve looking items to the right of the super shifter?

JS1200JS1000 - yeah, that's wierd as F***. Still, a cool guitar no matter what

Roo - thanks for the pics of the JS3. Any idea how much he was asking (it would help value ours LOL)? Actually, that particular design I'm sure I've seen imitated on a lot of custom jobs

Satriella - hey (grumpy sounding), who said anything about only having them once a year? I just use it as a good excuse to get my ma to make me some of her specials : ) Aren't sausage rolls pigs in blankets?

Igneous - ahh, clipless pedals. If only I had video of the very first day I went out using them and forgot I didn't have the old strap version pedals (forgot what theyr'e called) any more. A very DOH moment....

Skippygirl - LMAO, Daddy Long Legs fingers... that's really funny. I think you'll find a technique that suits you, and as long as it sounds right that's the important bit, not the form. "A" pentatonic will serve you well if you're still shooting for Satch Boogie.... and, going to another point of yours I'd suggest one finger per fret if that makes sense?

Willie Burns - ouch ; )

Do The Stu - would that make you partial to a bit of Serendipity then? Enjoy Paul Gilbert

Ozzy Fudd - Happy Birthday for Sunday!

Michellebelle - did Stu do a little ballet move or something at the last gig you saw (when Joe introduced the band)?

Cosmic Ape - Paul Gilbert.. enjoy man! Wish I was going

Laters all, have a good weekend

Guys..I am new to experimenting with modes. I have been in a pentatonic rut for years. Joe's lessons on the net have helped me tremendously. A question...On Mind Storm, after the robot voice section, what scale is Joe using for the next section? I am a drummer but have always played a little guitar.

El Nicko: That's what you often find, many people over here have never been to Scotland etc., yet jet off to Spain and places all the time.
DoTheStu: I take it you like 'Why' then?! :)
GuitarMatt: Congrats! I need to start thinking about driving soon as well.
JSPhil: Speaking of D'oh moments, my favourite fall was with spuds. I was messing about on a campsite (grass), came down a rise, braked (this was on my mtb), stopped and had one of those slow-mo moments. 'hang on, I've stopped. Ah, that's ok. Uh-oh, I've still got both feet clipped in. Dang...' and fall...Kinda fun though, didn't hurt; and luckily not a candid camera moment either...:)
Anyone who didn't needs to watch the U2 roof top gig on the BBC: U2 Live on the BBC. Inspiring stuff...I've already written an Edge-ish thing...

And I agree...the Cordoba shirt is probably the best I've seen.

Chad, why do I not believe that you don't have any idea about 80's porn, hmmmmm???

Austin, thanks, I thought those were good vids too...and there was just something about that shirt design that I really liked...quite different from the ones I've seen Joe do before. I'd wear that one myself, lol!

Just finished watching the special dvd that comes with the JS20th guitar...very cool, nice interview with Joe and then some 20th anniversary concert footage...yes Austin, that's the show u missed =| Sorry if those vids upset u, but I dint get to go EITHER, lol.....and I still love seeing parts of that show however I can.

Chelle, I 'think' I'm getting yer emails now? I think? My internet provider mustuve gone through a retarded phase. I take Chris home tomorrow, so then if I'm not too pooped from that, will try to sit down and answer some mails, including yers :) I've prolly missed stuff on here too, but he's kept me busy :)

T-Bones, I'm dead tired. Forgot to set my alarm for work this morning and woke up 20 minutes late. Rushed through my shower and whatnot just to get to work EARLY! wtf? When I came home from work, I turned around and went back out to my sister's house to help her clean before her surgery. My other sis was there already and they had cleaning well under way. We didn't plan on ripping up the kitchen floor...LOL! Square tiles over linoleum over stapled down wood and under that is a nice wood floor. We got a nice patch up and now she has a speed bump to watch out for when she walks into her kitchen. LOL! OY my back. lol! My bed is gonna feel sooo good! Layoff this week again, so I plan on sleeping, cleaning, shopping, and praying - a lot!

Austin, Our hours get cut right after Christmas every year, then come back up by March or April. We're back to 40 hrs tomorrow, but like I said, I took another layoff for a week. My daughter is home from college for Spring break and and my sis is having surgery to remove a Meningioma the size of a feckin lemon from the right side of her brain on Thursday. Scary stuff! She has a positive outlook and says she just wants to get it over with. 99% of these tumors are benign, and we hope and pray both her tumors are non cancerous. She has a smaller one in the left side of the back of her brain, but that one will have to be zapped when the time comes. The big one is sitting right on the surface of her brain, but the little one is tucked in there. I told her we're going to have a lemon themed healing party for her after her surgery. lol! Think of the possibilities!

I'm 11 pages behind...

PipSatrini - yes you with the daddy long legs fingers! If I could play Extremist I would be a legend in my own lunchtime :0). But I'll keep practising. My bro checked out the Fender today and said it was perfect so glad I made a smart purchase.

Michelle - prayers for your sister, sounds like she has a great support network in you and your other sister.

Scubadaz - that doesn't sound right sorry! it will take some getting used to - BTW do you have any vids of you playing?

Cheese - thanks for those vids they were great, and Joe looked good with the short hair.

Joe - hope all is well with you, Looking forward to Chickenfoot, hope G3 tours Australia or Asia (at least that's close) so I can come see you (me and roo and his wife). I am diligently practising guitar like a good girl, watched Deep Purple Saarbrucken again today I just love that one....

Do The Stu - liked all the Proc Tree tracks really......

Al - ah grasshopper, I remember being out all night and seeing the sun come up....must do it again some time
